Well the title said it but were are the pvc hilts? Are they discontinued

I have a follow up question to this, does this mean the grab-bags will only be metal (once all the PVC are sold)? Because I've been thinking of getting a grab bag, but I don't want to spend an extra 10$ to ensure it's metal, is it the only option now?

They are gone for now.  We still have some PVC grab bags.

Agreed completely, for 5 extra dollars who wouldn't get a metal saber? I think they should be gone for good...

I agree when it comes to Dominix and Initiates, but there are some pretty sweet pvc only hilts.

But the PVC just don't have the same effect on the user and the audience as the metal ones, I did like some of the designs but would they not be cooler if they were metal?

I think the only one i really liked was the curved hilt. I'm waiting for a metal curved hilt. I have a feeling ultra will be doing that soon.

But yeah, I think it'll be the next hilt released after the War Glaive, very popular in the saber community. 

I think if they use the War Glaive as a way to perfect their hilt claw designs, a curved hilt with optional claws would be a pretty good homage to the Dooku hilt, on top of adding a good amount of customization possibilities.

That's what I'm looking forward to, the limitless possibilities of customization, right now I'm limited to tape and very minute amounts of metal work :P

I had just decided to buy a Blazing orange Omen and US discontinue PVC hilts. Granted I much prefer the metal hilts (Omen was only PVC I did like) but PVCs did have one advantage: they were insulators so wouldn't sap the heat from your hands and cause frost burns when fighting in sub-zero temperatures.

What do you think the chances are of a metal Omen? Slim I would think with the War glaive waiting in the wings. I loved the way the Omen came with an extra-long, extra-heavy blade as standard. Another option would be to make a custom pommel, similar to the couplers that would plug into a blade holder so you could turn a battlestaff into a two hander, but doubt there would be much of a market unless you think otherwise?

they was cheaper so thats good for first time people I fink and theres less worrying wiv them Innit u can just go mad not saying that the metal one are weaker just I'd rather do HARD CORE duelling wiv a piece o PVC   :-\

I miss most of the PVC designs though, like the Archon, Omen, Nemesis, and all the curved hilts as well.  Hoping they start producing metal versions of the old PVC sabers soon, i kinda missed my chance at an Archon because of an outrageous phone bill... ah well.

I do wonder though... if we choose to get a grab bag PVC could we specially request something like an Archon if any are left?
