Title: My first Ultra saber
Post by: Darth Rifter on February 04, 2011, 03:18:12 AM
First off I love it.
I have a Initiate V.2. It is about 9 inches long without a blade. I have a 32 to inch blade and about two inches go inside the saber, so it's total length is about 40 inches. It is very light weight. About 3 pounds give or take. I have a Ultra edge blade and a violet led. It is very bright.

The saber itself is very easy to handle and spin. I find myself spinning it a lot. Due to it's light-weight, it feels very natural in your hands. You will feel like a real jedi....or sith with this saber. If you are new to sabers or have little ones I recommend this saber 100%. Plus the LEDs are super bright and beautiful to look at

The blade is an Ultra edge blade, mid-grade and 32 inches long. it is the perfect length and makes it swing and spin just right. the brightness of the led is intensified with the ultra-edge. I would highly recommend the ultra edge blade

I hope you have enjoyed my review and convinced you to get this saber. If I convince just one person, that's all that matters. Thank you for reading.

I'm looking at getting my 1st saber soon and that is the one I'm looking at but the phantom initiate V2 so I will have 2.  You said that the blade goes into the hilt about 2'' so if I get the 24'' blade total length would be about 32'' estimating? And the blade you got the mid-grade right? I want to make sure its perfect lol!

Thank you!

well if you get two 24 inch blades and cut off about three, i know i said about 2, but it is like 2 3/4 inches sorry, you will have 21 inches per blade for a total blade length being 42 inches combined. Now the coupler, i am not sure how long i would think it is 1 inch. that give you 18 combined inches of hilt, plus one more inch being 19. plus the blades, that should give you about 5 feet total in staff mode, give or take a inch. So I hope that helps. Also, you get two, so if you tire of a staff, you can have two separate lightsabers.
