One request though, could you get some pics of the SY by itself. Everytime I see SY paired up with FO it looks washed out, almost white while FO looks more yellow. I know it's the camera compensating for the difference between the two, that's why a shot of the SY by itself would help a lot. Thanks! And no rush. I think that's one of the reason's why I'm having such a hard time deciding, I want a nice yellow and SY has been hard to get an accurate picture of. @big boss- yeah, when i take the blade out and shine the pyrestone on the wall, i see red,green, and orange mix, probably the multiple LED's all tweaked to work at once makes it brighter than red but at the same time it isnt "blazing" like the red, its area effect is very unique! thats why cameras cant decide if its red or orange and pictures come out wackXP but it is very nice! Now that you have all of them you'll understand this. Looking at the last picture in your previous post at the glow, from top to bottom you see the progression from SY to FO to PO to BR. I still can't decide though lmao. The SY does have a nice yellow glow to it, you can see it much better in those solo pics than in the one where it's next to FO. It looks to have a much lighter core than the FO, where the FO looks to be more gold/yellow all the way through. Interesting... Between those two? SY. Though like Goldleader said, it had a gold hue to it; some people like it some people wish it was more like my sig. You can always get an AS with LEE filters get get a bright yellow, if you aren't sold on SY. I've probably done this before, but I'll go ahead and toss up a list of colors and how they're made: Single color LED - Blazing Red, Consular Green, Guardian Blue, Adegan Silver, Fire Orange RGB LED - Sunriders Destiny, Arctic Blue, Violet Amethyst, Dark Violet, Bane's Heart, Sentinel Yellow, Pyrestone Filter colors - too many customizations to list! The filters give you numerous options, and you have many ways to use them. Throwing them on the Adegan Silver will allow for some neat colors, while using them with an RGB led will give you the option to "tweak" the color one way or another (since they're made using two light diodes). My SY is has some gold in it, but it's by no means a "warm" yellow (which is perfect for me, I wanted an intense 'cold' yellow for my Sith). It's also not as pale in real life as it often looks in photos. As SY lovers have all said before - don't let the pics fool you into thinking SY is "yellowy-white". :) It's also been said you can request Ultra and team to 'tune' your yellow to be more or less on the gold side in the comments box. The filter effect on this photo (instagram) and the proximity to the blue saber has actually exaggerated it here, so you can see the green quite clearly. The blades are actually different colors, one is lighter than the other. 2. The color is much, much closer to BR than to what these pictures are showing me. Don't get me wrong, I love the color, but I've just noticed now that it's not right. Any ideas what could be doing that?

IMHO FO is more like a candle flame, where as PO is like a blazing fire. If you want a deeper orange go with PO. FO looks yellow in brighter light, but gets a nice orange once things get dimmer. PO looks orange all day and night. It wont be lime BUT, Because the color is not perfected there are three differences. Sometimes it will have more green in it or more orange in it, or sometimes it's a consistent color throughout. IDK what it is maybe it just me but all my sabers including my wifes are all consistent; not one of them is more green or more orange towards the tip of the blade. At some point My wife's was more orange but I late found out that my batteries weren't holding a charge for very long; I used to leave them in. There's no lime strip in it, nor any noticeable hint of green but it's closer to a true yellow than my original unit.
Having a hard time photographing it today, but I threw a short video together that demonstrates the contrast. Both sabers with fully charged batteries of the same manufacture, both in 36 inch standard blades. Worth noting, I'm fond of both of the permutations. (almost perfect match for the FO in color and brightness.

Fire Orange looks yellow in pictures, but in person it's clearly orange. Lighter orange than Pyrestone, but still very clearly orange.
