Title: First Saber review Post by: RozenRyder on April 27, 2012, 07:16:43 PM Got my first saber today.
Only one thing to say... -hugs ultrasabers- THANK YOU!!! I got an Initiate LE v3, Fire Orange blade, an Arbiter Pommel, and with sound added Hilt: Is just amazing and beautiful, allot more then I was hoping for 10/10 Blade: Little more Orange then I wanted but still love it, Sturdy as hell 9/10 Sound: Only issue Im having is connecting it to my computer, keeps saying the drivers failed and this usb device is unrecognizable. Tho I did get it to work for a short time to get some new fonts in (http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg293/Ryder124/Snapshot_20120427_5.jpg) (http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg293/Ryder124/Snapshot_20120427_1.jpg) Overall:10/10 I would love to get more, but...I gotta save up money to go to flordia for a weekend to meet...a special friend of mine for the first time...besides all I need is one right? (yea right) Title: Re: First Saber review Post by: Luna on April 27, 2012, 07:53:02 PM I too got an Initiate V3 (although I went with the normal one, not the LE). It was a LOT better than I had expected.

Thank you, and yes Im more partial to the light side then dark :3Title: Re: First Saber review Post by: SkippyLeDoo on April 27, 2012, 09:19:34 PM That color looks awesome. I can just imagine how intimidating it would look when it's swung.
I'm thinking about getting two Initiate V2s with that color. Title: Re: First Saber review Post by: Sharif1234 on April 28, 2012, 12:12:43 AM Wow that's great!!!

I sense much confusion in you.. you will turn. Congrats on your purchase! It looks amazing, and the Orange looks awesome! Title: Re: First Saber review Post by: Master Bluespike74 on May 03, 2012, 04:56:57 PM Thanks for the pictures. I have been considering getting either an initiate or Aeon with that pommel. Nice to be able to see what it looks like before a purchase. Onto why your saber will not connect, do you have your saber on when you connect to the computer? If not, plug in your USB cord, turn on the saber, and then turn on the Obsidian program. Hope that helps.

Once you start the Obsidian program, it'll shut the saber down and you'll be able to do what you need. The only reason I suggested plugging in the USB cable first is that I have some concern about shorting the connection against the hilt itself. I prefer not to take chances with electronic components especially one so expensive to replace as the Obsidian Sound board. |
