IDK how to remedy it but it looks like you tangle yourself up sometimes, mostly with the staff; it's frustrating. Title: Re: Dark Standard Issue Saber Demonstration. You're Spidey?! haha. :D Actually, tangled is one of the blades coming into contact with the body or going between the legs, otherwise I'm just going slower than usual. Either that or I'm "blocking" a pretend hit from a ghost opponent. I've hit myself in the nuts a lot since I started staff. lol But I'm getting better at it. I'm going to post videos with just one form demonstration soon. I'll do staff first. Title: Re: Dark Standard Issue Saber Demonstration. Is it the shame, that makes hitting yourself in a jewels hurt so much more? lol Title: Re: Dark Standard Issue Saber Demonstration. Is it the shame, that makes hitting yourself in a jewels hurt so much more? lol Haha, yes I think it is. lol Depends on how skilled you are. I have twelve years experience. Haven't hit myself in the jewels for 5 years. If I did it tomorrow while demonstrating, then yes. The shame makes it worse! ;) Title: Re: Dark Standard Issue Saber Demonstration. Post by: NoiraKai on June 16, 2012, 10:37:52 PM Hi. I'm new here. Thanks for the demonstration! I am contemplating buying a saber (SI model in fact), and had been wondering about dual-wield with reverse grip, cuz I really like reverse grip. It looks even more sick with two!!!! I am only going to buy one saber for now... but I can tell already I will definitely have to get a second one later. ;D Baby steps... baby steps...
Title: Re: Dark Standard Issue Saber Demonstration. Post by: KashiAtaru on June 17, 2012, 04:36:39 AM You're welcome! Welcome to the forums, watch out for Thread Jack our friendly neighborhood troll, and happy sabering! I highly recommend the Standard Issue in any forms to you as a first saber. Dual wielding reverse grip is sick! When you have two sabers, get a coupler so you can make a staff too! Hope you enjoy yourself and look out for some of my and other's tutorials on the forums! Cheers- Kashi
