1. Upload a photo to Photobucket.com 2. From Photobucket.com, click on the IMG link. You will see a message that says COPIED when you do. 3. Go to the I have my pic section of your profile on Saberforum 4. Right click your mouse and select paste. 5. Save and return to see it. If I remember correctly, after linking my pic and seeing it on the profile settings page I didn't hit save afterwards, just click to another place on the forums and I think that's what solved it (hitting save made the pic vanish). It's been some time, but I hope that helps!

So, for example, if I wanted one of my pics to be my profile I'd paste http://imgur.com/RRslhuR (http://imgur.com/RRslhuR) into the 'I have my own pic' section. You must click save (in my experience, anyway). Every time I go back into that section to play with my signature or whatever, I have to re-enter the link for my picture before saving any changes. You just need some place in internet, to host your picture, and social networks work just fine for this purpose. And after the pic is hosted somewhere in internet - put a link on it, while choosing profile picture, and whola! Just be aware with Flickr to go right through to the image location (me being paranoid) Hope that helps. |
