Title: How are the on-off-switches fixed Post by: Tuffskull on February 25, 2011, 06:53:27 PM Hi, I have a question, I tried srewing the button out of the hilt. Did you use glue or are you only very people? ;) Please can you tell me how to remove the button? I want to install a momentary switch.

If you try unscrewing the switch, you risk the leads popping off. Try to get a flat-head screwdriver or a pair of pliers under the switch and gently pull straight up. It will take a bit of muscle...when I tried to take my switch off I got frustrated and just gripped the switch casing with toothed pliers and wiggled it free. Much easier, but I destroyed the switch in the process. Extra switches can be ordered from TCSS.
