Title: Anybody ever had this happen? Post by: Abraxus on June 29, 2012, 12:54:59 PM Last night, my son and I were dueling, and the adhesive that sticks the Obsidian sound board to the battery pack came loose. We heard something rattling around in the hilt, and it was the board itself. We stuck it back on, and went back to dueling. After a few minutes, the sound, and the LED sputtered, turned off, and would not come back on. I fear the board got loose again, and was damaged. I e-mailed support for advice on what to do, but this thing is not even a month old. It seems a little soon for these kinds of problems.

Post by: BenPass on June 29, 2012, 01:06:11 PM I've had one of my Obsidian boards come loose like that, but what I did was take some electrical tape to hold it down and it was fine. The LED sputtering and turning off sounds like it COULD be the batteries. I always recommend that people charge up their batteries or try new ones before worrying too much. So give that a shot, but even if the board IS damaged, you're still well within the 90 day period for warranty repairs :)
