I'm happy to see BH growing in popularity, I mean I like anytime some gets a forum color but BH is somewhat of an acquired taste. ;D

Why thank you, yeah it was like mid-day when I filmed it, so you know its super bright when the lights are on and the blinds were open.  But ill try to get some photos of it in the dark posted very soon.

Nice review, I would definately appreciate pictures or a video to see that color in the dark.

The Belicose is a solid saber, no doubt!  The styling is unique, and the changeable options just add to the beauty!  I agree with the requests for a lower light portrayal of the Bane's Heart energized blade.  I have been curious to see how that color looks, compared to the Blazing Reds I have seen in other reviews.

So... a question, if I might.
I'm actually looking to pick up a Bellicose saber, but there's one issue that still makes me a little anxious. Does the LED unit clatter around inside the hilt at all when you spin/duel/what-have-you?

With the saber I have, the emitter is only held firmly in place by the presence of a blade. Without a blade, the LED unit rattles around a bit, but a fully-inserted blade seems to pin it into place. Which is fine.
My concern is that, with the Bellicose, it seems like the maximum-insert-depth of the blade holder might prevent that "pinning" effect of an inserted blade from happening.

So. Does the LED unit rattle around in there at all? And if not, can you tell what's stopping it from doing so?

There's zero rattle. It's being held in place by the blade holder.

Thank you for the answer and, of course, for the video. After seeing this, I'm really going to have to chew on the AV switch question. I'd been thinking about going with the standard guarded button, but that AV switch looks pretty nice, even without being illuminated.

Nice video, it's good to see some more Bane's Heart users.  It seems to be a rare color, at least on the forum, but I've heard many good things about it from people who own it.

Great pictures and review. I like that you can tweak the LED color by adding filters.

On a side note. I love Skillet. Monster.  Rebirthing. Comatose. Awake and Alive. etc...

Nice saber. Bane's Heart looks pretty good on the Bellicose. Like the Blackstar font all on its own too. I gotta wait until two more weeks to get my Bane Obsidian sounded saber. :P Going full Sith mode on it for its my last saber. Its going to be in Blazing Red with an Ultra Edge Heavy Grade blade, Obsidian with non illuminated av switch, and li-ions. Can't wait. =] I'm either going to use Blackstar, Sith, or Starkiller. Not too sure yet. I'll do a video of all three fonts if I can and have time to from being ubber excited about finally having my first Obsidian saber. :P
