I just want to add that this saber has survived some of the most vigorous, aggressive, and savage dueling I can muster. I have mentioned before on the forums that I have broken mid grade blades, this was the saber that I broke them on. It was my first saber with sound actually, and one of my very favorite to duel with. Like you said, gripping it at that choke point just gives you fantastic control. Overall a great hilt, especially for an Force FX saber (which can sometimes be bulky and/or awkwardly balanced).

I agree the MR fx sabers are quite bulky, imo this and the Obi ROTS are the only 2 that are any good for dueling.
