Title: Sith Costume by Halloween
Post by: wolfmetal45 on September 15, 2012, 07:33:18 AM
Well it's coming up and I'd love to finally have a costume to go with that ultrasaber of mine.  Now ideally I'd want to make something based off of the Sith Acolyte uniform from ToR like this.

But unfortunately I have neither the time nor the money to make the armor at this time.  Do you guys here think a costume similar to that could be made by substituting the armor for a Gi?

Temporally... Sure! And definitely for Halloween, but for a group event like the 501 or a convention...ya I wouldn't. Especially if your going for that character and none other. IMO

Joining the 501st used to be a dream of mine actually.  But after all the stories I've heard about how strict they have to be I've lost a lot of interest in doing a sith costume to join.

And thanks for the link, your right that EXACTLY what I'm shooting for as an end result.

Sorry for the double post but would anyone know where to purchase or find the pattern for a cloak?  I don't own a sewing machine, and I doubt anyone on my floor has one, but I would imagine that somewhere on my campus there's on for public use.  While the Gi is a good foundation I don't want this to look uninspired ad be nothing but a black Gi.
