Hi all. Hear is my introduction and a little backstory about me.
I was having some family issues that some how brought back my inner child. I was feeling hurt in my subconscious. As of writing this I am 26 years old but feel like I am between 14-16 yeas old. Back in those days I was into dancing, wushu, healthcare and anime. One of things on my bucket list is to go to an anime convention such as San Deigo ComicCon.  Fast forward to me at age 20 I did attend my first convention in San Diego convention center. It was a medical convention by Society for Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH16). I also attend in 2020 and will plan on doing so in 2024. Back to present day, I was watching for I do not know how many times the HackSmith and their lightsaber development. Feeling very jealous I knew I had to get one. I did buy one of their shirts with the plasma lightsaber on it. I love their steampunk designs.  I thought of trying to design one myself but soon realized I am a writer not an artist.

I knew from the very first start of my quest into the lightsaber community I had a few things I had to have on one. Golden claws. After a month or so of lurking, leaning and coming clean to my mother ( I kept quiet for that first month) I decided on the Aeon v5le with lite sound because I hate technology and an terrible with computers. Also a Mac user. At first I wanted to go all out  with features or should say fidelity. I soon realized for one not in my budget and my computer skills. That brings my to why I chose this username here ANoob. I wanted something gamey sounding. So here I am today and I am very happy to join and be a part of this community.

The aeon LEV5 is magnificent. I should know. I have his little brother. There is a tutorial about how to flip the claws for a better grip, if you're not planning on dueling with it.
Forum community is quite welcoming. The global saber community on the wild web... not so much if you're an US fan. (Although, to everyone convention I went in France, the dueling clubs had Ultrasabers sabers... so... You know...)

I was not expecting to start writing part two so soon. Knowing the mixed experiences of others have had I was not expecting to have mine so soon. I was planning on at least two or three weeks not less then one. Like most of us here I have already started a wishlist on what to buy next. My nerves are firing like crazy. Or should I say lightsabers.  I am trying to keep my nerves relaxed as much as possible.

Exactly a week later it was my big day. Back to me at my current age of 26 it was time to see my first ever lightsaber. As my eyes landed on it I feet like a young lad in a sweet shop I do not even like sweets vey much. As soon as a figured out how to use the sound I felt like my mother when she learned to ride a bike. For me one of those memories you will probably will never forget. Or my first ever medical convention I attend. That day was when I had the time of my life. That is actually documented in a story I wrote for The Society for Simulation in Healthcare. If I do I have photos of it. I was so excited and on such an adrenaline rush plus lack of sleep I felt sick to my stomach. Next I tried some of my old wushu dance steps. I successfully preformed them. My wonky hip and old injuries behaved and got a nice photo shoot of this moment if my life.

I have an Azure Fallen, it is MASSIVE but so cool and it feels really good in the hand. (you can find pics of mine on the gallery section)

Part 3
My nerves have calmed down and I have gotten some sleep. I am totally re living my teenage years. I am much happier now. That week of waiting was hell, thankfully it was only one week. I would have been a wreck if it had gone on much longer. Another great change I have noticed since I got the lightsaber is that I have been able to get to sleep a whole half hour earlier! That is a big difference for an insomnia suffer. I hope I do not jinx that by writing this. You probably can tell where this is going. I know there’s no shame in what I am about to write. I am going to pull the words out of my mouth. I sleep with the lightsaber. I would like the thank the members here who encouraged me to not feel shame.

One week update

One week in update

I couldn’t be happier with my choice of the Aeon v5 le with lite sound and 24 inch blade. I did buy the extra pommel the sentinel v5 non vented. Still can’t decide what one I like best. I only use the non vented one when I am not using sound example at night. I am surprised that the claws on the emitter and pommel are not sharp. I didn’t want to claw up myself or my sheets. As stated in an earlier installment of this journey I mentioned the whole sleep thing. I never thought a hard non flexible blade would be comfortable.

I also decided to buy the lightsaber because I knew it would be great for my seasonal affect disorder (SAD), those emergency situations such as Northern California wildfires. I have funny plans on what I will do if disasters strike. I also found that being part of this community myself as a writer has come back. But I have to say sleep is the most important and amazing discovery I have noticed. Not to mention not spending money on iPad video games. My pocket book thanks me. It used to be that age old question how to fall asleep? Now I know how to.  It’s like when my mother had a Star Wars dream where she figured out the meaning of the universe. She had a friend named Mary Jo Kobe. In her dream she was told “Mary Jo Kobe, Obi-Wan Kenobi, that was the secret of the universe, she thought she was enlightened, at least for a moment.

I may post more on the sleep thing if I get enough comments on this thread.  A bit too embarrassed to do so.

I wrote part 5 and did not post it when I first wrote it because I was a bit embarrassed. But here it is. I find it very humorous. Also next part will be by guest writer my mom.


Part 5

I am feeling less shame to start out with. But I am longing for the Azure Fallen because I am slightly afraid of damaging the Aeon v5 le with sound because I wouldn’t know what to do if something did go wrong with it. Imagine a night without a lightsaber? It would be back to the age old question how to fall asleep? Most frustrating thing ever. You just lay there tossing and turning, playing iPad video games, watching the clock, counting sheep and so on. The next morning you are exhausted.  You are thinking I do not anymore nights like that after having no more insomnia since answering your life biggest question. When I do get the Fallen I will get it as a stunt saber (no sound) with heavy grade blade probably the 32 or 36 inch. The 24 inch mid grade blade I have on my Aeon is very nice but I am afraid of breaking it. As I said in a previous installment I mentioned that I never thought a hard non flexible blade would be in a Star Wars galaxy far far away comfortable. That is why I went with longer hilt the Aeon rather then the shorter version the Initiate v5 le. I was very wrong. (I rarely use any wushu or tai chi sword anymore to the point I will use the same material as a lightsaber blade in my dream blade)I used to think longer blades would be more comfortable because I thought they would be more flexible.

Well I now have to post the embarrassing part because I cannot edit my post. This is the part I was hoping to edit. So here it is
Going back over ten to fifteen years ago I started to sleep with some kind of wushu/tai chi sword. Fast forward a few years from then I was wanting to design my dream sword I will be referring to it as my dream blade. I wanted something I could wrap around myself for comfort. I would prefer for it not to be real wushu steel. It would have to be soft enough for safety but firm enough to provide the pressure I seek. have multiple designs for it. I wanted something long and super flexible but firm. Some designs ranged from a RuneScape Godsword to an Indian urumi style. I have autism septum disorder(ASD) and one of the symptoms is sensory problems. People with ASD find that deep pressure stimulation calming. Note since the age of 18 most childish thing I have ever heard of. But I do enjoy it in some respects. Back to my dream blade I was thinking of using many different materials such as wushu spring steel, plastic, leather, cloth and or silicone. My dream blade would consist of six super long and flexible blades connected to a center firm main blade with a wing like hand guard and hilt. Each of the six long flexible blades would be around 12feet in length and between 2-4 inches wide. Thickness would depend on what material I use. I would have multiple sets of blades that I could attach to the main body of the dream blade. I also could wear them without the main blade(the firm one). The long flexible blades would be mounted to the main body blade three on each side, two near the guard for the arms, the next set a little farther down for the torso and closes to the tip would be the two leg blades. When not in use the blades could be coiled up and also like I mentioned before removable. I would make multiple sets of blades that would be used when I wanted a certain feel. Sometimes I may want something hard and springy lots of pressure other times lite  thin and softer. The main blade would also be a two piece construction to make it more portable. Sorry about the tangent.

Hi, I’m ANoob Mom.  I was very excited when they told me they had ordered a lightsaber.  When it arrived I was quite taken with it’s beauty. although I’m 70 years old, I had never watched any of the Star Wars movies.
Now, as a family we have Thursday movie night and are watching the original Star Wars movies. I’m enjoying them and am delighted that ANoob and I get to watch movies together.
I’m glad that ANoob is getting some good sleep with the LightSaber as a comfort item.  Since the Lightsaber arrived ANoob seems happier and is more social and more animated.
I personally believe in “the Force”.  It is very spiritual for me and I like to say “may the Force be with you”.  I am honored that ANoob has invited me to write on this thread.

Also change of plans on the Fallen it will be my birthday in less then a month. I decided to far out and go emerald and v4 sound because I want an Evanescence theme saber and also could use it for the play I wrote.

Make that I am going to go diamond on the Azure Fallen. I realized that the highest fidelity is probably needed for my play.  Find my play on the soundfonts thread topic code blue play.  I really am feeling like a high school student again because I am now going to learnand program the diamond software. I do have previous experience with music and video editing. I also wrote a play in high school. Makes me really miss my high school teacher who taught me about those kind of computer skills. FYI Mac user garage band and I forgot what I used for video.

Welcome to you both, and I agree; the Diamond controller is a better choice than the Emerald plus v4 sound, simply for the flexibility it provides, in addition to the other benefits.

I’m sure I speak for many here when I say that we look forward to hearing more about your journey, and I feel I simply have to say that WE LOVE PICTURES AND VIDEOS.  No pressure, of course, but if you have pictures of your saber, we’d love to see them.

Also, there’s no shame in admitting you need to make adaptations to fit into this world.  Just because your adaptations might look different than some other person’s adaptations doesn’t create a reason for shame.  Sleep is a vital part of human health, and you need to do what you need to do in order to get enough sleep. Be happy that what meets your needs was found for the price of an UltraSaber; some folks spend thousands upon thousands of dollars trying fancy bed after fancy bed, only to be disappointed each time.  You need to take care of yourself, and I’m happy to see that you have found light sabers to help you do that.

Yes I have done it! @Cyclops I know that age old story about fancy beds. Reminds me of my Father. Have you checked out my play. I have photos on my Google drive. I will figure out how to share them. Learning how to do that on a program not at first designed for Mac users. I will post each of my lightsabers stats vitals (as a healthcare worker would say) in my signature here like many of us do.

One month update

I couldn’t be happier with my experiences here. You all are so nice to me. I love your support and encouragement to not feel shame. Just got the word today I will be getting my diamond Fallen Tuesday! Ordered
Monday the 18th. Looks like a week and a day to get. How lucky am I.  When I do get the Fallen the guest writer will be back my Mom. Keep you all updated.

We’re waiting along with you.  We all know the feeling of anticipation you’re feeling.

Today is my big day. I am hours away from getting my Azure Fallen. I have been preparing for its arrival such as figuring out what I want to wear to bad am having to wear something different then what I was hoping for. I bought an Evanescence Fallen T shirt, but I will wear my favorite dress I made for a wushu competition instead, dyeing my hair to match some of the colors I chose for the Evanescence theme. As I stated above about the Evanescence theme I really done well with my color choices. Note I am getting the Diamond board. That translates into having many sound fonts lighting effects (themes, my play, the cat font, one for those Northern California wildfires...) I also have a theme song from the Evanescence Fallen album song Going Under.

I did have one nightmare and a headache but thankfully none of the other symptoms I mentioned on the (In) patiently waiting for... thread here on this Fourm. The worst one from the first time around with the Aeon v5 le lite sound was as I would describe as “over active flash on clash nervous system.” Thankfully I I have not had that problem this time around. This time I am feeling the opposite of that, extreme tiredness and no anxiety. I still am getting to sleep 1/2 to a whole hour earlier then before I got the Aeon v5 le. But I was up like every two hours last night. Blame that on the headache I have.

On the positive side I am very excited on learning and programming the diamond software. The internal memory on the board is big enough to fit a whole Evanescence album, my play, the original fonts and more. I will write more later. Need to sleep.

And now episode -1 for the Azure Fallen diamond

First impressions of the Azure Fallen diamond 32 inch heavy grade blade was... ouch! And what a beast. Trying to change a font hurt my arm. I was not that happy with my first impression. Thank goodness I have the 24 inch mid grade blades that I could use in the Fallen. But it does look kind of funny. I also found the the blade I got with the Fallen looks and feels great on the Aeon v5 le. But after the first night together (used the 32 inch heavy grade blade the first night) I felt like I had the best nights sleep in over 15 years.

I also noticed that I like the mid grade blades better. I will do a more in depth review after my first week like I did for the Aeon v5 le.

One week update Azure Fallen diamond episode 1

I have noticed that I have to be more careful with the Fallen diamond than the Aeon v5 le with lite sound. The little screws at the bottom of the emitter fell out one with in the first day or so and the next one a few days later. The sound on the Fallen is outrageously loud even if I turn it down on the fly. I know I can adjust it more on the computer software. More of decorative piece than good for heavy use. I do have the combat ready emitter on it. Have not tried any programming yet. I have been working on my play I am writing for the diamond software. Nightmare review

Although, I do like the Azure Fallen diamond because I did have that best nights sleep in over 15 years I still kind of prefer the Aeon V5 le with my night pommel I mentioned before better. I found those bottom pommel claws sharp with the 24 inch blade uncomfortable. I can use them on the Fallen comfortably with the 32 inch blade. I also use the heavy grade 32 inch blade on the Aeon. Like I said before I am amazed how comfortable and comforting both the Fallen and the Aeon v5 le are. I will probably get some more blades for the sabers later on. I may even try the 36 or 40 inch ones because of what I said before “I never thought a hard non flexible blade would be in a Star Wars galaxy far far away comfortable.” I will do the grab bag style I would like the surprise in going that way.

Which screws are you talking about?  If it’s the ones with the flat top, where one is in line with the power button, and the other is directly across the diameter of the hilt, then you can just use some blue LocTite (or similar product) to keep them in place.

Those are the ones. I lost them completely. There’s just an ugly mark where they used to be. But I like how the light shows through the holes.

I just removed mine and ignited my Azure Fallen, and you’re right!  Extra windows on the emitter, for no extra charge! Woo-hoo!!!!!

Cool. I like that we almost have matching diamond Azure Fallens. Mine is blue violet amethyst with silver flash on clash and pluse to arctic blue.

Once again I’m honored to be a guest contributor to ANoob’s thread.
  The arrival of Lightsabers have added much “light” to our household.  ANoob,  with the AzureFallen Diamond Saber, has delighted me with beautiful light shows with all the colors of the rainbow.  As a child, ANoob was like a little monkey at night, unable to sleep and driving me crazy.  How I wish we had a lightsaber then.  Now, with ANoob’s arsenal of Light Sabers, sleep comes easy and lasts thru the night. 

Since acquiring ANoob’s sabers major changes are happening.  ANoob, who has claimed to hate technology is learning how to program the Azure Fallen Saber diamond (no easy task) and is even writing a play which incorporates sounds and visuals on the saber. Find the play on the sound font thread code blue play like I mentioned before.  Although I could live without the Cat Font( a quite dreadful sound) by Angle Rain. I’m impressed with ANoob’s growing ability to learn such sophisticated programs. Or as we like to say
“AIN’T TECHNOLOGY AMAZING!” George from Grey’s Anatomy season 5 episode 7.

We now have family movie nights watching the original Star Wars movies.  ANoob is once again creating costumes and dance steps and generally more energetic and happy.  ANoob also gave me a basic Lightsaber for my birthday, and we are planning to have a duel pretty soon.  So I am grateful for the Light sabers and MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.

Quick update

First of all I have to declare my problem with insomnia cannon and a thing of the past!  I used to take sleep for granted. I have figured out what blades I like on each saber so far with the ones I own. Azure Fallen diamond standard 24in mid grade, Aeon v5 le 32 inch heavy grade ultra edge, and initiate v2 24in ultra edge mid grade.  I do want to get the standard heavy grade 24in one for the Fallen. Also like I said before the for the other two sabers I would like to get a 36 and 40 inch blade for them. Don’t care much about grade or color. During the day I can only use the 24in ones comfortably because i am about 5’1”. But at night that is a whole other story.

Two month update on the Aeon v5 le what used to be lite sound. As stated on my technology problems thread here that saber is broken my fault. But it doesn’t bother me much anymore. I was a little frantic about it breaking but it now has a time and place for its use. I use this one as my bedtime saber with my night pommel so I don’t get those sharp pommel claws anywhere near me. I haven’t bothered to fix it because my diamond saber can do all the things this one did.


Azure Fallen diamond one month update. After dealing with technology problems with this one too I have learned how to live with them. This saber is my daytime, dancing, and socializing one. I also use this one to get ready for bed to its light without sound. It has gone out of the house on two occasions.

Overall, I love both of them. I also only had 1 wonky nights sleep since getting my first one. I sometimes think I would like to have a late night like what is before I answer life’s biggest question “how to fall asleep?” 

It's good to hear you've found a way to adapt both yourself and your sabers to your needs.

I remembered what I was going to write on my last update on this thread. It was a dream I had about my technology problems thread. Here is the dream Both the Aeon and Fallen had been sent back for repairs and I was wondering and forgotten how to fall asleep again. I had forgotten about my orange stunt saber. In real life I find that one very nice but I would like a longer blade on it. When I woke up from that dream I thought it was a reality not a dream until I looked down and saw all off my lightsabers and felt their presence.
Also another funny occurrence in my dreams is I forgot about my orange stunt saber. The dream weaver is such a strange part of the unconscious. Why does the dream weaver do that? I find the saber the dream weaver forgets about very comfortable and comforting at night. I like both the 24 and 32 in blades on it. With the 32 in one I can get the feel for what a 40in one would feel like. That hilt and blade are about the same size as a 40in one. Also tempted to get an Aeon v2 with 40in blade. Also on the possible wishlist are a Crimson Grand Master stunt and if I ever win a raffle a diamond Dominicide LE with recharge port and illuminated switch for sure. Learned my lesson with my Azure Fallen diamond the hard way. Wish I got those options on it. I was still ANoob and only about two months since starting my lightsaber journey.  At first that was the model I wanted because it looked most like my dream saber similar to the HackSmith plasma proto saber. Way out of my budget. That is why I chose the Aeon v5 le instead because it looks similar.

I have eaten my words about designing and making my dream saber/dream blade I talk about in this journal.
My new designs are a hybrid of all the ideas that include my original inspiration to get into this community The HackSmith plasma proto saber mark 1 now since they came out with new versions, the first UltraSaber I wanted, and I took an artist endeavor on colors. Another design idea was to go the plush route. At least I do not have to use a computer except for having to look at a few pictures. I decided to go mostly the plush route but I have incorporated “real lightsaber blades” into the design. I have run a few tests on what length I would like better the 24 or 32 inch blades. It can be used as a single or double bladed saber. I find the 24 inch a better fit on one end and the 32 inch on the other.I wish I was technology savvy enough to add a sound system to it because I have found a great lightsaber sound file an hour long that puts one to sleep and is very calming. Keep you all updated on this project.

I am having trouble figuring out when I do want to get my next saber. I do need new blades. I am really want to go to an Anime convention in person sometime next year. I would love to buy my next saber at a convention.  My dream convention would be 2024 SDCC if it was the next convention after SSIH IMSH24 medical convention. That convention takes place mid to late January to early February. Too bad that SDCC is in the summer.  I would love to meet my hero Emory who I call The Great because i am a whole new person after answering life’s biggest question “how to fall asleep.” I would act out the play I am writing but I might scare passers by with the boot and power on sound for the play. Find that on my play thread here. I also would be in costume at the convention.  I am planning on attending IMSH24 in San Deigo. I would also preform my play there to because it is a medical play.

Also I have taken my 32 inch heavy grade blade off my night saber and now I am keeping it on the one I made. I now have the original blade I got with that saber on it again temporarily. Very soon I should get the 40 inch blade for it. I will put the 24 inch mid grade ultra edge on the stunt saber.

My proper set up for the Aeon v5 le (night saber) should be 40 inch ultra edge heavy grade blade with sentinel v5 non vented pommel.

I really considering getting a mystery box or a v2 or an Apprentice v5 stunt with pink led, blade 40 inch to my night saber. Also will get a 24 inch grab bag heavy grade blade or 2 for my other sabers.

Make that I did it. Keep you all updated.

As long as you'll be happy with your Mystery Box even if you get a v2 saber, then knock yourself out.  Please don't do yourself dirty by purchasing a Mystery Box and hoping/praying/needing for it to be one of the super-rare super-special items.  Many are v2 sabers, although with some minor upgrades to get the value correct.

I did the Apprentice v5 instead. Also got the other blades I need for my other sabers. You have heard of musical chairs, for my sabers at the moment have musical blades. One does not even have a blade in it the v2. It does have a blade plug in it. That is because my old night blade the 32 inch heavy grade ultra edge is on the saber I made. I will try to post a link to pictures very soon. All other sabers will have 24 inch blades. Expect the one I made.

Also will be getting my next saber and the proper blades for my other sabers on Monday! Can’t wait to try the 40 inch one at night. Wouldn’t ever think of trying to dance or change a sound font with it.

I got my new saber today! It is a perfect match with my dress. Also all my other sabers have their proper blades including the one I made. I will update the stats (vitals) now. I can’t wait to try my 40 inch one tonight. Looks so comfortable to me.  Will write more tomorrow.

Thanks my friend. You like the one I made? I was very right about the 40 inch blade on my night saber. Very comfortable! I also found that the Apprentice v5 stunt is like I have seen in a review somewhere I will try to find it, the same problems that were mentioned the same. So it will be a costume and dancing piece. The emitter windows are too sharp like others have said. I don’t want those near me, my clothes or by bedding at night. I see an accident just waiting to happen. Thankfully I am satisfied with what sabers I have and use for during the day and for at night.

I don’t customize my sabers; for whatever reason (likely the fact that I know my skill level when it comes to arts and crafts), I am afraid to even START customizing, for fear that I’ll do something that a) I don’t like, and b) I can’t fix.

I had that problem too. The solution I found was to customize plain looking sabers that I got for "free". Like V2s. I probably would not try anything on sabers that I like already.

I am finding it hard not to take a nap because I am getting my next lightsaber today. I told myself last night that I would be having my last sleep on a 24 inch blade on my night saber. Thankfully no nightmares or anxiety symptoms this time around. But within the last for hours or so it was back to the over active flash on clash nervous system. I hate that feeling so much. I eventually tried to nap but I could not sleep. I do not totally understand why I find lightsabers so comfortable and comforting. I can’t wait to feel what a 40 inch blade feels like.

Will also do the one week and month update on the new saber. I also have updated my stats (vitals) on my signature. Will also get a new and better photo shoot of my sabers. I find my Aeon’s stats very funny because of my healthcare experiences. I also will get back to working on my play and programming some new fonts on my diamond Fallen. I have found the perfect sound for the part of my play I am writing but I do not know the name of the font it is from. FYI it is not an Ultrasabers font.

One week update on the Apprentice v5 stunt and new blades

First off the new saber I don’t like it that much. Quite uncomfortable in the hands. The windowed emitter is very sharp and uncomfortable. I don’t like it anywhere near me. I will use it as a costume piece and for socializing. I wish I got the Aeon or Initiate le v3 instead. I do love the hot pink color and the pommel because it is the same pommel as my night pommel.

Now on to the new blades. I got all heavy grade ones. I like them all. My sabers say “thank goodness no more musical blades.”  Yesterday I made a bad joke since there are day blades why not night blades like my Aeon v5 le has. I am finding I like the 40 inch heavy grade ultra edge at night the best. And also the 32 inch version on the saber I made the best at night. During the day the standard 24 inch blades both grades are great for dancing or dueling. Will write updates on my other sabers at a later time.

Overall update

I have been putting off working on my play and sound fonts on the diamond saber because the technology gives me a headache. And also because I cannot find the sound file that I am looking for to use on the Cal Kestis font(s). The font I am using was made for the v3&4 soundboard and don’t have the stab effect I really like on the diamond board. And for the play I have found two great sounds for the lock up but like I said before not one of our fonts. Also the other sound I found is from a tv episode. Frustrated playwright I am. Other problems with the play is that I will have to join multiple sound files for certain parts of the play’s sound font. For instance the power on is a two part sound but only one file can be used in that slot. Also the lighting will have to be adjusted to the second part of that combined section of the font. That part is the power on slot but I want that slot to contain both the tag and power on sound.

Now on to the new saber. Turns out my mother now uses it as her dueling saber with the 24 inch standard mid grade blade because she is a one handed duller. I use two hands so that makes the Apprentice v5 very uncomfortable for dueling and dancing . I use that it only for show examples socializing and a costume piece.

All my other sabers are doing well. After figuring out what blade my mom likes best no more musical blades. I also lately been finding my saber I made even more comfortable then my night saber. But I do love the 40 inch blade it has ( the night saber). That night saber is almost as big as me up to my clavicle that is stood on its pommel. All the other are about hip or waste high.

Still going strong about not having insomnia and being able and remembering how to fall asleep.

Thanks for the update; I'm glad you're having success with fighting the insomnia monster^(tm).  It's also nice to hear your mother enjoys the sabers, too.

Do you have insomnia? I love your quote about sleep and fancy beds you wrote on my journal. You are the one who convicted me not to take sleep for granted. Other friends on another journal of mine have tried to do so also. Can you imagine what 15 or more years of chronic insomnia would be like? I feel so much better because I can sleep now.

Also today I woke up with a bit of seasonal affect disorder/depression (SAD) but the light of my Fallen got rid of it immediately. Early on I knew lightsabers would be great for SAD.

I am very sad to report two nights in a row of insomnia. I feel a bit jinxed.☹️. I know it will get better. When I do find it hard to sleep I find my smallest saber(the v2) the most comfortable. I think it is because of what happened with the dream weaver who would always forget about that saber. Also I thought when I got my newest saber the pink one I thought it would be as comfortable as the v2. Not so at all. At least I do nor regret buying it.

I love sharing my journal here, before I had an online journal on another site that is a peer support group for people with disabilities and mental health issues. I get sad if people don’t read or comment on my journals. Good luck finding the right fancy bed. You crack me up laughing 😂. As a quote from my other journal “ Sleep, comfort, rest, are basic needs and not to be neglected right?!”  still took sleep for granted but you Cyclops with your fancy bed quote made me really rethink sleep. I still won’t forget how I felt that first morning after I got my first saber (Aeon v5 aka night saber). I truly thought it was a freak occurrence because of that adrenaline rush and not feeling well…but I answered life’s biggest question. I did the same thing nigh after night and the same marvelous thing happened. It’s like I forgot what insomnia is like.

10/8/22 journal

5 year anniversary of the 2017 Northern (Wine Country) California wildfires. I used to be deathly afraid of wildfires. Now a Jedi I am not afraid of wildfires. Back in 2017 it was like 4 in the morning when my family and I were woken up to a wildfire with in 3 miles of our home. It was pitch black with smoke and darkness. Now if a wildfire or other disaster strikes I actually have a certain font designated to disasters to go with my disaster outfit on my Azure Fallen diamond.

Last night I had a strange dream about insomnia and lightsabers. The only part I remember was that Emory the Great said “Do normal people do that?” That was in reference to me sleeping with my lightsabers. I woke up as soon as he said that in my dream thinking “Talk about rude.” I think Emory the Great was mad at me in my dream. Made me feel sad in my dream.

I hate it when I hear or read nasty, rude, or mean things about Emory Deep Harris. Makes me vey mad and sad because it hurts my feelings. To me he is my hero. After 15 years of insomnia how could I not call him “The Great.”

Journal 10/12/22

I tried dueling with my night saber with a 24 inch heavy grade blade and pommel claws. Quite comfortable but the retention screw is not in a stable place on that model. I pefer the deeper blade socket and screw placement. I lately been finding my v2 stunt saber most comfortable at night so I am going to try my new night blade on it. I am kind of starting to regret buying the Apprentice v5 stunt. Thank goodness my mom likes it. Too bad that the Apprentice doesn’t come in a v2, or v3. I have learned I do not like windows on the emitter especially since I am a Mac user. At least on the Fallen and the Aeon v5 the windows are protected by the fins or claws.
I also realized I am rougher on my sabers then I thought I was at first. That is because I usually have more then one with me for most of the day and night so they get scratched up a lot. I will find a quote from another thread here that makes me laugh when it comes to this matter.

I put the emitters on it and I will possibly put claws on it too. Will update pictures soon.

Not much to write about this week. I have decided not to work on my play and fonts for awhile because every time I do so I get a bad headache.

Like I mentioned before about SAD I am finding my Fallen a great uplift for my moods when it comes to the changing weather and season.
Update on sleep

I lately been trying my mid grade blades because my night blade is a little hard for my liking at the moment. I used my original blade I got with my first saber last night. That one is a 24 inch ultra edge mid grade that is on the saber I made. I am tempted to buy some more mid grade blades to compare the feel to the ones I have at night. I would probably get a 36 inch one.

Good luck finding comfortable blades.  Good sleep is important.

I remembered what I was going to write about yesterday. I have learned that it is not about the bed when it comes to getting good sleep and being able to sleep in the first place.

Also Cyclops what you say about finding the right blades reminds me so much of my father and finding the right pillow(s).

Well, I don’t know what’s so funny, either, but heck, I’ll take it as a win, anyway.  As Readers’ Digest told so many of us growing up, Laughter is the Best Medicine.  (The older folks will get that.)

For all things a play update. I did find the next sound font part for my play. That part is the lockup sound. So that means now all of the hard parts of the play have been found. Wish me luck on the rest of the play. I will work on it slowly.

Update on blades and sleep

First off my sabers played a game of musical blades recently because I wanted to see what a 24 inch ultra edge mid grade looked on my sabers. I also wish I had some longer mid grade blades especially a 36 inch one because both of my mig grade blades are 24 inch ones. All of my long blades are ultra edge heavy grade ones. I  have been using my saber I made the most at night but my Fallen has had few turns being my main saber at night. My night saber the Aeon v5 is currently being used a more of a socializing one with the same set up as I have it at night. Thankfully still going strong without insomnia. I regret taking sleep for granted. I wish I had done something about it earlier. With health problems like insomnia you learn how to live with them. After so many years of it it felt normal.

I’m so very glad your insomnia has remained quiet and left you alone! Congratulations on your persistence in seeking a solution that would actually work for you.  This is a great example of that old line about genius (or success) being 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.

I am going to give my Fallen a try with my 40 inch night blade tonight. I did take a nap today with that set up and it was very comfortable.  I realized that claws are uncomfortable at night. I am eyeing the Arbiter saber a bit because of its long sleek no frills look.

Fallen with 40 inch nite blade comfortable but not the best yet. I did try my original night saber last night along with the one I made. About the same comfort level as the Fallen. I am going to try the night blade on the V2 stunt saber tonight. I find that one so far the most comfortable with 24 inch ultra edge mid grade blade at the moment becides the saber I made.

Results from last night. Night blade on v2 saber hilt is nicer but I figured out it is not so much the hilt but the blade. I am starting to think the heavy grade blades at night are too hard for my liking. So far my original blade a 24 inch ultra edge mid grade is the most comfortable at night. I want to try that same type of blade in a 32,36 and 40 inch sizes. I think I will modify my saber I made to accept a 40 inch blade. I will do another photo shoot of it soon.

As I said before I do not like the new saber but my mom does.

The Dark Apprentice LE V5 is one of my favorite hilts, surprisingly.  It’s not large, but it’s VERY beautiful, especially with the longitudinal windows on the emitter.  Yes, I do feel the “sharp-ish” edges on the windows, but that isn’t where I grip the hilt, so it’s not a concern to me.  Also, a tiny bit of filing will fix that.

I’m sorry you don’t care for it, but I really, really like mine.

For me the Apprentice v5 windows have gotten caught on my clothes and sheets and now I have at least two shirts with damage from it. Also when I tried dancing or dueling with it because I am a two handed dueler and my main left hand falls smack on the sharpest part of the windows.

Journal 11/6/22

First off, the weather. It has been cold and somewhat wet. It will be getting worse in the coming days. I am looking forward to seeing how my seasonal affect disorder acts with the help of my lightsabers.

Update on sleep

I did have a wonky night last Monday I could fall asleep but at 3:30 in the morning couldn’t fall back to sleep. I did have to get up in an hour from that because my mom was going away on a business trip and had to get her to the airport. When I got home around 5:30 in the morning still couldn’t sleep. So left me feeling like I had a wonky night sleep.

Otherwise sleep is not a problem. I sometimes thing “an I going to have insomnia?” But as soon as I start debating that question I fall asleep.

Also it is too cold at night to use my saber hilts comfortably so I have been using the saber I made and am also going to try just my night blade by itself tonight. I have tried it on the saber I made and it fit better then the 24 inch one I keep on it. So more or less my sabers are playing musical blades again. Also I am finding that the hilts are what is now what might be too hard rather then the blades. Keep you all updated on this matter.

Keep exploring your options… you keep finding success, even if only in bits and pieces.

I have Covid. Yuck!

I think it is going to be wonky because I am not feeling well. I did go back to my original night saber and blade and I thought it was the best…but I cannot get too comfortable now since I am sick. I will be patient and focus on getting well.

I couldn’t resist buying it because I am feeling so crappy with Covid and it is very close to what the first ever Ultrasaber I wanted. I wanted the le version at first. Now I will have most of the colors offered.

A very sad journal entry I can’t believe I am writing especially at this time of morning.
It is 1:30 in the morning can’t sleep. Covid keeping me up with its symptoms. I knew this would happen. Darn insomnia!

On the bright side I am excited about getting my new saber.

Even in folks who don’t normally have insomnia, being sick like you are right now can mess with the sleep patterns. You’re not in your normal rhythms of motion and stillness, and even when you are moving, you’re definitely off your game, so you don’t expend as much energy as you normally would.  Granted, your body is using energy fighting off the illness, but ‘muscle energy’ and ‘illness-fighting energy’ aren’t the same thing for regulating your sleep.

I guess I’m saying that this is to be expected, and you’re just going to have to power through it.

Good news about that bout of insomnia it was a one night case thankfully. If that had gone on much longer I would be crazy. It is amazing that I put up with that insomnia crap for so many years. I regret not doing something about it sooner. You just learn how to live with it and it seams normal until you don’t have it anymore.

I am very interested in seeing how comfortable my new saber will be. Also my sabers will definitely be playing musical blades again. My new one comes with 32 inch ones. I kind of know what the size will be like from the saber I made.

Surprise I got my new saber today! Was not expecting it so soon. The good news is I got it so fast I didn’t even have time for any of those anxiety symptoms that usually come with getting a new saber. Still have the Dan Covid to deal with. I will update my signature stats to reflect the new saber to the collection. First impression looks even more comfortable then any of my other sabers.

Still sick…

Now the good news, I was very right about my new saber. Turns out my other sabers do not have to play musical blades. I did put a 24 inch on one end of the new saber because with two 32 inch blades it would almost as long as my bed. I will do another photo shoot when I feel better. I am also thinking when I am well I will try dancing with the new saber. I definitely will use 24 inch blades on it. I am only around 5’1”.

I am almost over the Covid. My test results are clearing up.

Update on my newest saber. I love it. It is a beast…but it probably is more comfortable then some of my other sabers at night. I totally agree with Emory the Great about how comfortable the Dominicide is as he mentioned on the intro video about it. At first I was not so sure if it would be comfortable especially with those huge double claws on it. I did try my 40in night blade on it last night and it was nice but I still prefer two shorter blades on it. I also find my night blade by itself very nice too especially when it is cold.

Glad to hear the comfort met your expectations and needs.  I’m looking forward to pics.

Journal 11/24/22

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The Insomnia Monster has been haunting my mother lately and driving her nuts. The good news is I am almost over the Covid.  I have nicknamed my newest saber “Covid” because I got it while I was sick. The red claws remind me of spines and spikes on a virus cell. Hopefully I will fell all better soon so I can start dancing again.

@Cyclops942 thank you so much for being my friend. Also for following, reading and writing on my journal. You helped me not feel shame about how and what I use my sabers for. Have you ever considered doing anything like me with any of yours. (Example Sleeping with them). I am glad you like my photo shoots I post.

@ANoob, I’m glad you welcome my participation here.  I felt a little awkward at first, especially when I saw you were using this as a journal.  I would not have thought to use a lightsaber as a sleep aid, but the fact that you explained that you’ve suffered from insomnia for a while opened my eyes to new possibilities. I’ve suffered from chronic pain for decades (which has its own issues, and can lead to insomnia as well as other associated symptoms), so I’ve had to expand my horizons when it comes to looking for remedies beyond what is widely accepted.  Not to put too fine a point on it, I’ve tried some “snake-oil” products and home-made remedies from “back up in the holler,” with mostly disappointing results.  So I understand the desperation in trying nearly ANYTHING to solve the problem.

And as far as shame goes, I see no need for feeling that here.  Are you doing things with your sabers that nobody else here (to my knowledge) has said they do with them?  Yes.  So what?  You’re not doing anything with them that I would consider shameful.  Is it different?  Yes, apparently.  But according to an Arby’s ad campaign, “Different is good.”  (Like I said at the time in response to this, “Different CAN be good; it isn’t guaranteed to be good just because it’s different.”) 

I do understand your hesitation, though.  Any time you admit to doing something that you know isn’t widely popular, you run the risk of being ridiculed for it.  I’ve certainly experienced that.  Heck, I wore Vibram FiveFingers (https://us.vibram.com/shop/shop-all-products/mens-fivefingers/casual/classic-mens-M10.html?dwvar_M10_color=Black%20%2F%20Black#start=1) to work in an office environment, and had my masculinity questioned simply because of that.  (I still can’t figure that out.)  I’ve been ridiculed countless times, both on the internet and in real life over the years, and it’s never fun, especially if it’s in a community where you want to belong, so I’m glad that didn’t happen to you here.

With respect to me using a saber as a sleep aid, I toss and turn all night even on good nights, and have issues with the blankets and pillow getting in my way, so I wouldn’t want to add anything else to the mix.  I’ve tried a body pillow, for example, or putting a wedge pillow under my knees or behind my back, and not had good results, so I probably would not add a saber.  But it works for you, so keep it up.

And keep posting here if you want; I don’t see anyone rounding up the pitchforks and torches.  LOL

@Cyclops942 that is the nicest thing I have ever read on any of my journals. It reminds me of a scene from my favorite film. I will pm you the link with the time stamp of it. You should probably watch the whole film too because you may just find it interesting and educational about me.  Also as I said before I get sad if nobody reads my journal. My journal and I feel lonely otherwise.

Speaking of those shoes I have a pair of them any they are fun and comfortable. In high school my teacher a male like you had them too. Nothing to be embarrassed about.

I am so sorry about your chronic pain syndrome you suffer from. My father had it too. I also suffer from chronic pain example migraines too. You would love my other site where I used to journal because it is a site for peer support  and medical research for people with medical problems and disabilities. I will pm you a link to it. I have mentioned it before here in this journal.

EDIT:  yeah, chronic pain is a — well, it’s a pain!  LOL  In my case, it’s the result of literally being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but at least I was INSIDE my vehicle when I got hit by the other one, so I’m still around to complain about things.  Like you, I’m finding ways to deal with the issues I face.

Journal 12/1/22

Having a great time with my newest saber. I like using it with the plush version I made of it. Also my Covid has finally all cleared up. I am very thankful for my newest saber for helping me get through the Covid. On another note today’s weather is projected to be very cold, dark, wet and rainy today. Awful for my seasonal affect disorder. I am looking forward to using my sabers for my seasonal affect disorder.

Journal 12/4/22

I was going to write earlier but our gardener was blowing leaves when I was just sitting down to write.

I have been sleeping well. I have used a different saber each night for the last few nights. I can’t decide which one is the best. The only one I don’t use is the Apprentice v5 stunt. That saber is my mom’s now.

On the other hand the Insomnia Monster is still haunting my mother. I just love that term @Cyclops942.

I was almost tempted to participate in this years cyber Monday raffle and buy more sabers. Thankfully another family member distracted me. I went grocery shopping instead. I am also eyeing a few other non US sabers. One has a very funny name because if you have a dislexic moment and rearrange and swap a few letters you get the word insomnia. Wouldn’t insomnia be a great name for a lightsaber?

Thankfully the Insomnia Monster has not been haunting me or my family the last few days. I am still going strong with my sleep.

It's fine to try other brands. Saber designs are important. Especially if you're looking for the perfect sleep saber.
Insomnia is indeed a great name for a saber. Striking fear in their enemies to the point they lose sleep.

Journal 12/10/22

Had a weird but interesting dream. Emory the Great was in it. That was the sweet part of the dream. The part with The Great was so sweet I almost woke up crying in happiness. Other parts were some similar to other dreams I have had.

@ DarthRondoudou I like your advice. Thanks my friend. I love the term “sleep saber” you use. I know it is ok to try other brands of sabers but from what my dream told me is that I am a loyal US fan. Not to mention being a big fan of the owner who I call the Great. To me how could he not be The Great after all those years of insomnia. I really want to meet him an anime/ComicCon. But after having Covid I am not so sure about going to conventions. I am almost not wanting to go to the big medical convention in 2024 I talk about a lot in this journal. I know I would have the time of my life again at it.

Well since you got it, you should be better prepared to face it again. I caught it pretty recently myself. I don't know if you're at risk or not, but maybe you should not let that prevent you from things you wish to do. While being careful etc. of course.

Good news I am finally able to dance without Covid symptoms. My Azure Fallen and my mothers sabers got to go out over the weekend to a party. I impressed a lot of kids with the diamond board.

Journal 12/16/22

I am doing well and there’s not been any insomnia Monster haunting anyone in my household. I can feel the post Covid weakness yesterday when I danced. I used to be able to do multiple songs even over 4 minute ones. Yesterday I did a 2 minute one and I felt winded afterwards. I was in a very warm room and wearing a mask. I did feel go to dance. I want to get back to doing more dancing. Before I did the same dance in the same settings and did not feel week before I had Covid. This time was very different. The people who I danced for I always make their day. The only difference I can remember is that I probably used a different sound font for the dance but the same song.

I also had a nightmare last night that this journal disappeared and people were being mean to me about what I use my sabers for. Someone deleted my journal and there was a scary privet chat about it. People were toying with me and changing my username. I have had something like this happen in real life to me.My dream kept going around in a loop and finally woke myself up from it. Thankfully it was just a nightmare.

Having your "digital identity" basically kidnapped and tortured DOES sound horrifying!  I'm very glad that was just a nightmare.

And what happens if the server farm that hosts SaberForum experiences a disaster (fire, flooding, earthquake, sudden power loss, or any of a number of other things that are bad for hard drives)?  Do YOU know what disaster recovery protocols are in place for that data center?  I sure don't.  I also don't know what frequency or history of backups are available for the forum. 

Again, and I cannot emphasize this enough, if you are concerned about the security and longevity of this journal, then the responsibility for keeping a copy falls on YOU.  Somehow, some way, you need to figure out how to keep a copy of this accessible to you.

Journal 12/19/22

I keep having a reoccurring dream that I am having problems or breaking my Azure Fallen diamond. It seams like a new dream loop starting @Cyclops942 the dreams I am having would be nightmares to you but to me they are just frustrating reoccurring dreams.  The good and bad news is that I know what the dreams are telling me. I know from the dreams that my relationship is suffering and my old interest in healthcare simulation and simulators. In real life I I understand the meaning of the dreams but I still am interested and support healthcare simulation. I also feel like I am in a steady relationship make that over 6 years.

On the light side I did something very nice today with my Fallen. It was a cold foggy depressing sort of day so I took a nap to the light of my Fallen… but had one of those new reoccurring dreams. In my dream I had a recharge port in my saber and I had a charging cord hooked up to it   I was in a shopping mall and I trip and somehow the other end of the cord somehow found an outlet and I fryed the batteries and my diamond board.

@ANoob, sorry to hear about the dreams of damaging your Fallen, but I'm glad to hear you're dealing with them better than I would.

Just FYI, I'll be incommunicado for a couple weeks, so don't worry; I'll be back after the New Year starts.

Journal 12/22

I got rid of the nightmares about the Fallen…but the dream weaver did something very funny to me. After that dream on 12/19/22  I listened to what the dreams were telling me and took action. The funny thing was the next morning I wake up to a very funny dream that was the total opposite of that nightmare in regards to my relationship issues.  It felt like the dream weaver bit me in the butt. I learned from the dreams it is ok to have new interests and a new group but I will always remember not to forget about my relationship.

On the other side my mother had a run in with the Insomnia Monster a few nights ago.

Marry Sithmass Eve everyone!

First off I got rid of those nightmares thankfully.  The insomnia Monster is still after my mother more often then she wold like. 

I tried something new with my Fallen last night. I used my 40 inch night blade on it last night and did what I call light therapy with it for my seasonal affect disorder. I find it very uplifting for you mood and relaxing.   I am kind of nervous about damaging my diamond board by keeping it on for longer time then I probably should. The board dose get hot and the batteries do drain faster I noticed. When I did take the Fallen out to the party it was in cold weather so it didn’t affect the board and battery. Should I be worried? My dreams say yes. I really don’t want to damage my diamond saber because it was very expensive and my other sound sabers are not doing their best either.

I am writing this entry to the light of my Fallen.
Although I enjoy my night blade on my Fallen and my Aeon v5 le I have been using it by itself lately because it is vey cold. My hilts are too cold to use at night. I am getting tempted to buy another night blade that would probably be a 40 inch standard mid grade. I wish the 40 inch blades came in grab bage style.  I enjoyed the surprise of not knowing what grade or color blade you would get because I can’t make up my mind on what to get.

I decided to give my v2 saber a chance to be my main saber at night. Turns out that saber is vey nice especially when it is cold. I still am preferring my night blade by itself lately

There is also some good news in the house that is my relationship problems are working themselves out and the insomnia monster is keeping quiet at night.

While changing my bed sheets I realized I have been ignoring my newest saber. I decided to give it a go as my main saber this morning. I am planning on using it again tonight. I forgot how nice it is. My original saber is now taking a turn again as a more socializing saber rather than my night saber because I am keeping my night blade on my Fallen.

I am also in a pickle about what saber I will buy next. I am really eyeing a non U.s saber…but it does not come in the configuration I would like it to. As I mentioned before I don’t want to wear out my Fallen and it’s board. Very worried about doing so every time I use it for light therapy.  The other saber I am eyeing only comes as stunt or pixel. Definitely no pixel sabers for me. Too fancy and my computer skills. Not to mention how rough I am on blades. The main reason I would stay with US sabers is their emerald driver without needing to go pixel. I love how the emerald and diamond pulses look on them. I do not care for sound in my next saber that much. The board I have already in my Fallen is way fancy enough and a headache to program.
My dream saber board would be non pixel but color change with pluse  like what is found in the emerald preferably no sound I would not rule it completely out.  Not to mention Apple compatible.

Hope everyone is having a happy new year. Covid has finally left the family and we are all feels well.

I am also tempted to work on my play and sound fonts because I have a friend who has a cat that is a great dancer.  I have told the friend and her cats about the cat fonts.

Also a dream piece  I recently had that I can remember is, I was trying to get back to my hotel room because there was a disaster and I wanted to save my lightsabers and have my disaster font.

My sabers went out tonight to an art opening that my mother’s art was in. She did a piece of me with my sabers for it.
I will get back to my normal journaling schedule soon. I wanted to wait for the art opening to journal.

I have been sleeping well and no insomnia monster haunting my family. I have been using my newest saber the most at night lately. I recently had a dream about my diamond saber and the cat fonts. I wish I could remember more of the dream.

Remembered a dream piece from last night. I was in my kitchen playing with my diamond saber. I had my 40 inch night blade on it. The saber had the original version of the diamond software on it.

First off I am torn on what saber I should buy next. As I mentioned before in a previous entry in this journal the non US saber I want. When I do get my next saber I also want another night blade too.

I had a very nice experience today with my sabers this morning that totally reminded me of when I was younger and a very early journal entry here. I had both of my Dominicide’s (the plush one I made and the crimson one) my night blade on my v2 saber and my Fallen next to me and I was remembering when I used to do similar with my wushu and tai chi swords.

I am still amazed by how comfortable lightsaber blades are.

I am trying to grab a dream fragment. I can almost remember it. It had to do with that nightmare I had about damaging my Fallen. While writing this I almost got another dream piece.  It was something to do with being an US fam. In the middle of the night when I woke up in real life I was thinking of writing down my dream.  But I didn’t and now I wish I did.

Update on sleep

I figured out what saber and blade I like the best. I do have to say my 40 inch night blade is my favorite along with my v2 hilt. I think I may try my Aeon v5 le on it tonight again. In second place my Dominicide would be the next most comfortable. I don’t know ware I would put my Fallen Diamond because I am gentler on it. At night that is. I dance and duke with it during the day. Not to mention my light therapy I do with it.

I remembered my dream from last night. I was on vacation in a vacation rental house and there was a wildfire. As soon as I saw the fire I put my diamond saber on my disaster font. I was also having to pack all my stuff in bags. There was a fountain and a very wet green lawn that saved the house from the fire.

In real life I am planning on using my disaster font whenever there is a disaster.

I have exactly one year to finish my play because next year I will be at the medical convention! I am very excited to go again. I go every 4 years.

I also have been thinking about what the hell those dreams about damaging my diamond saber are about. I am very tired of that dream loop. My dreams I think are telling me to buy another diamond saber. In real life I want to use that money for the medical convention next year and to meet Emory the Great at a ComicCon. I really with that US would attend ComicCon in San Diego.

I am really considering buying a non US saber next. I wish the one I want came in the configuration I want.

I was putting off writing in this journal because I am celebrating IMSH the medical convention I go to every four years. I had something funny happen when I was checking in on my other friends on another site whi used to journal. That site now had some major updates and it is not behaving well and is very hard to navigate. I am so glad and thankful for this journal. I always write in that other journal around the time of the medical convention. I was so put off by the site updates I didn’t even look at those old journals of mine. I am so glad and happy to be here and a part of this community and forum. May the force be with you!

I have been sick with a cold the last few days so I have not had the energy to write in my journal. I need to update my sabers stats (vitals) because my Aeon not my night saber anymore. I do think it is a nice saber and it being my first it will always be special to me. The sabers I use the most at night are my v2 with night bladee and the Dominicide along with the one I made. Hope everyone is doing well.

The Insomnia Monster almost got me last night. I did manage to get to sleep but it was a challenge. I mistakenly used my Fallen last night. I try not to use that saber at night.

The Insomnia Monster got my mother last night.

I also updated my play thread here today because there is an interesting thread on the healthcare simulation group I used to be a member of. Since I am not a member at the moment I couldn’t comment on the thread. That made me mad because that thread would help me with my play. (Thread name Code blue play in the sound font sub forum here)

On the light side I am almost over my cold.

My technology problems on my other site I have friends on along with some old journals on top of seasonal depression are making my mood sour. I am also worrying about my friends here. Haven’t seen you or heard from you in weeks. I am going to do some light therapy to help my mood. It is amazing how I find the light of my fallen uplifting to my mood. At least I am over my cold. Also no Insomnia Monster bothering me or my family.

I have had two very incredible nights sleep on my newest saber the Dominicide. I actually may have to put it as number one for most comfortable at night. Also no insomnia monster haunting my household. My seasonal depression has cleared up along with the weather.

On another note I keep trying to remember a dream fragment I keep remembering and then forgetting about. I think it had something to do with my play and finding just the right hum and or lock up sounds for it. I really wish I could remember the dream.

Had another bad dream about my journals. In my dream last night THIS journal turned into the same new format as my other journals on my medical website are now in. I was trying to pm the mods here but couldn’t remember their names, In real life the dream gave me a bit of a scare before I realized it was a dream.

Journal 2/10/23

The Insomnia Monster got my mother a few nights ago. For me that monster has not bothered me in ages. I now have definitely figured out the right combination of sabers at night. I am using my Dominicide and my v2 with night blade. The Fallen diamond and both of my v5 sabers are daytime sabers.

I also remember a few dream pieces from last night. Something to do with my play about set location. Also the words Emory the Great were in my dream.

Since I now have found the right combination of sleep sabers I am not tempted participate in the last hours of the current sale US is having. Also I realized sound in my sabers is something I don’t need. I just figured out what the best setup would be. Emerald by itself would be perfect. Too bad it is not sold separately. If it was I then could buy the non US saber I have been eyeing and have the features I want on it.

A few days ago I woke up to find used an ad for a Dominicide le. I was so tempted to buy it but I didn’t. You all know that saber was the original one I wanted to buy.  I really need to save money for the medical convention next year. I still do really want that saber but since I do have it in crimson I didn’t buy it. Although the Dominicide is the most comfortable Ultra Saber I own having two would be cool. I then realized I do kind of have a Dominicide le that is the one I made. That made me feel better. I still may buy one later in life. Also if I did buy another saber I do not know or want to know how it would affect my relationship.

Just want to let everyone know I am ok. I have had nothing much to write about. I have been remembering a few fragments of dreams but nothing worth writing about.

I still considering buying the Dominicide le I have bin watching on line. It is a very great price because it has upgraded sound and blade color. I do not know if it is a v3 or v4 sound.

To me sound in my sabers is not important to me because I do have my one diamond saber. That one is fancy enough for me. I do not regret getting my first saber the Aeon v5 le with sound because it was my first.

Update on sleep
I have been paying more attention to my Aeon v5 le the last few nights since I wrote in this journal. I kind of forgotten about it as my night saber. I now have been ignoring my v2 saber at night. The Insomnia Monster tries to visit me but as soon as I start to think it will get me I fall asleep thankfully.

I decided to try my v2 saber and night blade last night. I forgot how comfortable it is. I think I still prefer the Dominicide as my main sleep saber. There has also been no insomnia monster in the household.  I have not had any lightsaber related dreams in days to weeks. I hope to have more of them soon. The Insomnia Monster almost got me last night. I was using my main sleep saber the Dominicide. When I am about to have a run in with the monster I use a different saber. I used my v2 with night blade. I am going to update my stats vitals here on my signature.

Journal 3/3/23

I have dream pieces running around my head this morning. I also woke up to a bit of an earworm a song that keeps repeating itself over and over again in your head. I can remember from my dream that someone in my family bought one of those new US UltraProffie sabers.
Also the words cat font and Felicia were in my dream.
In real life Felicia dose not exist anymore on V4 boards anymore RIP. Same with Emerald boards. That dose not make me happy because the next US saber I would have bought would have been an Emerald by itself. On the good side of all this US technology update and new boards is I think their will be more love to USin general and Emory The Great.
Play update

I had an idea for one of the sounds for the play after listening to The Great introduce the new soundboard with smooth swing. Turns out I think I already have that part of my play done. I was thinking a smooth swing hum would work well for the hum of a helicopter flying for that part of my play. Also I am on the fence about even attending the medical convention next year. I really want to go to a ComicCon. I don’t know how that would affect my relationship.

On another note the Insomnia Monster got my mother recently.

I hope there will be more information about the new US soundboards. I feel like The Great left us hanging with the information he posted in the videos. It was sad to not see him in the ones about programming ultraproffie. I am still kind of interested in working on the play I am writing.

I had a slight run in with the Insomnia Monster last night. I did also have a dream fragment when I woke up this morning but I forgot it. I have been in a good mood despite the weather being unsettled and wet.

Journal 3/14/23

A large old tree fell during a winter storm last night and I woke to find a power outage. Thankfully no one was hurt. Turns out this happened the morning after I got a new battery charger for my diamond saber. I wish I used it last night.  I really want my disaster font right now. I did go out to investigate the fallen tree. All I could see are green needles. I wore my disaster hood and I had to use my mother’s Apprentice v5 hot pink stunt saber instead of my Fallen with disaster font. I run into a news reporter and give a witness statement about what I heard last night. I was in my disaster hood and had a pink saber with me. I said it was kind of like a dream or a the sound of a gunshot the sound of the fallen tree. I also knew I would have a very good journal entry today. I have been waiting for something like this to happen ever since I got into lightsabers. Link to photo of tree

I am journaling to the light of my fallen. I decided to try something different last night when it came to sabers and sleep. I used three. I used my V2 with night blade and both Dominicides ( the one I made and the crimson).

Update on the disaster
It made front page news in the local news media. I also got to see up close what was left of the tree that fell. At least I didn’t have to fumble in the dark to get dressed because us jedi never have to worry about darkness because we have lightsabers.

I can remember a few fragments of my dream I had last night. One had to do with a joke I made here about day blades. The joke goes like this. Since there are day blades why not night blades like my sabers have.

On another note I used the same saber set up I talked about in my last journal entry because I am finding it even better then a single saber.

The Insomnia Monster had me last night firmly in its grips. Otherwise I am doing fine. I had a feeling that the insomnia monster would get me last night because I had to get up ar 5:30 in the morning to take a family member to a medical appointment. Reminds me of when I had it happen before when my mother went on that business trip and brought back Covid.

I had a night of bad dreams last night. One was about this journal and UltraSabers in general. In my dream both the main website and this one were completely resigned. Also The Great teamed up with another saber company and was also selling sexy costumes. Also the company was shifting towards pixel sabers in general. When I saw what was happening I felt like I was going to have to join a different forum and make new friends and start a new journal. In real life I am tired and a bit upset and shaken by my dream. Not to mention being frustrated with the dream weaver.  I know it was just a bad dream but I am very worried in real life about my friends here.

Nightmare last night. What I can remember is that I was going to have a surgical procedure and I was begging the doctor not to put me out. I had two of my sabers with me in the or one was my v2 with night blade and I don’t remember what other one probably my Aeon v5 le. In real life I am afraid of doctors. I also would be doing exactly what I was doing in my dream in real life if I ever needed surgery. I don’t know exactly what these nightmares are about. I hope it doesn’t have to do with my relationship.

I have been remembering frames and words from my dreams but nothing really substantial. The Insomnia Monster has been around a but in my household. I did look up about anime conventions today and found one near ware I live. There is a small problebilty that US and The Great would come to the convention. It will be in San Francisco CA. I doubt he and or his company would be there because it is near the time of one of the biggest anime conventions there is. I got very sad when I saw that but I will not give up hope in meeting my hero Emory The Great. I probably will just stick with my original plan and go to the medical convention next year. I know that would be very helpful to my relationship issues.

The Insomnia Monster got me last night. I haven’t been using my number one sleep saber since I had a few nights of nightmares. Back to this run in with the Insomnia Monster I decided to go back to my number one sleep saber. Hope everyone is doing well.

Journal 4/5/23

I tried something different last night with my sabers. Since that insomnia monster has been after me more then I would like it to be I went back to my original saber last night. I will try it again tonight because I kind of forgot about it as a sleep saber. I still do think my Dominicide is the best sleep saber so far.

I also learned that another family member is a huge Star Wars fan. Also I learned that my mother is interested in going to a Star Wars and or anime convention too. I asked her if she would be interested in meet The Great. I am very glad she said “yes.”  I feel sorry for The Great because of all the hate for him but I know he does have a fan club for the ones who like his products. I so want to meet him in real life. I am thankful that I have met him in my dreams. Even though some were nightmares. I do think the best one was when I had a dream about him and I woke up before it could turn into a nightmare. In that dream I was telling him about what I do with my sabers and he said “Do other people do that?” The way he said it in the dream was in a very rude tone of voice. I woke up saying “Talk about rude!” I really kind of wish I could have seen what would have happened next in the dream. I one day am going to write what could have happened if the dream went on.

Two nights ago I did try my old night saber the Aeon v5 le with 32 inch blade. Oh so uncomfortable! I couldn’t even use it. So last night I put my night blade on it and it was comfortable but I still prefer the set up I have on my vitals stats on my signature.

Continuing on my last entry I have found that it doesn’t have much to do with the hilt at night but the blade is a whole other story. I went back to my number one sleep saber last night but it was not as comfortable as my night blade. I just might have to put the Crimson Dominicide in second place as a sleep saber. If I decide to do so I will update my stats vitals accordingly.  I did also try the 32 inch blade on my v2 saber. Nice but not as nice as a 40 inch one.

I have been doing well. From my last journal entry I have almost decided to put the Crimson Dominicide in second place as my favorite sleep saber. There is just something I don’t know exactly how to explain it but my 40 inch ultra edge heavy grade blade aka night blade is the most comfortable. I am going to try it on the Dominicide tonight. I do love that saber the Dominicide but I seem to always have weird dreams when I use it and by 5 in the morning I cannot get comfortable with it and resort back to my night blade. Like I said before I will update my stats (vitals) accordingly.

The Insomnia Monster almost had me last night. I had put all my sabers back to their proper blades. I tried going back to my v2 with night blade… couldn’t fall asleep! I was almost thinking the Insomnia Monster was going to get me so I switched to my Aeon v5 le and fell asleep. That saber has a 32 inch blade on it. I think I might put my night blade on it again. So it is back to my old night saber as for comfort.

I have not had any substantial lightsaber related dreams lately. I also have been watching some video footage from the recent conventions US has been attending. I have found a few frames with The Great in them. Always makes me happy to see him there.

Journal 4/21/23

I recently saw and realized that my bad dream I had about US in general is coming true. It was the one about everything going pixel and proffie. Makes me kind of mad and sad. To me I do not see the point in all that pixel stuff. I know for most people it is the cats meow. I hate the sound of smooth swing for one. As I mentioned in another entry in this journal I am not a sound saber type of person. Sound sabers have a time and a place but not every day use. I do use sound for dancing, dueling but not necessary, and for socializing. Otherwise it is annoying. Although I do technically have 3 sound sabers the Aeon v5 le lite sound but broken speeker, Azure Fallen diamond, and crimson Dominicide lite sound that saber I don’t even have batteries in it because I don’t want to accidentally turn it on in my sleep.

I probably should go back to sleep because I feel like I am livin that dream I talk about in this journal entry.

I have been sleeping well without any visits from the Insomnia Monster. I have been using my my two main sleep sabers lately. The only problem with using the Dominicide is that I always end up having bad or nightmare type dreams. I am very frustrated with the dream weaver. I may have to use a different saber and have a break from the dreams. I do not want to have to do it because of how comfortable the Dominicide is.  Hope everyone is doing well.

I used a different saber last night and thankfully no nightmares. I used my v2 with night blade and the saber I made the plush one. I really did miss the crimson Dominicide last night. I do have a set of emitters with claws I can put on it but they are sharp like my Apprentice v5’s windows. At least no Insomnia Monster last night. Tonight I will try the Dominicide without claws.

I tried two nights with the declawed Dominicide. Can’t seam to get comfortable with it or sleep. I change to a different saber before the Insomnia Monster sets in. I have been using my v2 with night blade the most. I will go back to the claws on the Dominicide tonight. Hope everyone is doing well.

I put the claws back on the Dominicide.  I also decided pay a bit more attention to my relationship issues and thankfully when I did use the Dominicide I did not have nightmares. I just figured out why. It is because that saber caused a lot of tension in the relationship because I was going to buy it on our anniversary.

On another note I have been following the threads on the new ultraproffie board here on the forum. I am a interested in seeing the reaction to the new hard and software and how it will effect the company and The Great in general.

I have figured out how to use the Dominicide without having nightmares. I am going to update my stats (vitals) with my v2 with night blade as best sleep saber. I am tempted to buy another one of them or the v3 version because it is so comfortable and I could easily see it as a double sided saber.

Happy Star Wars Day!

I have been having nightmares lately so I did something very different last night. I only used my saber I made the plush version on the Dominicide le. I was surprised how nice it was. I also decided when I do decide to buy my next saber I will stick with US and The Great. The other one I do want is not worth it because it is pixel or stunt. On the pixel version I only like one font on it. I am so sad to not see anymore emerald sabers.

Last night I was not tired when I went to sleep. I was really thinking that the Insomnia Monster would get me. To my surprise I fell asleep very fast. I still may buy another saber during the big May 4th sale here. I been giving my “real” sabers a break and been using just my plush one lately. The plush one does have real blades in it. As I have said many times in this journal I still am amazed by how comfortable lightsaber blades are.

Journal 5/9/23

Dream
I was reading my journal here and noticed that there were new pages of it. I then realized my friend Cyclops wad back. Also other members had written on my journal too. Most of it was gobbly gook. But there were som entries that suggested that I work for US and Emory The Great.

In real life I went back to my v2 with night blade. I was also reading some of my old journals here. That is what probably set off the dream.

Journal 5/11/23

Turns out that that recent dream was telling me something. As some of us may have been aware the Saberforum went down Tuesday night. At first I thought it was my internet and then my computer. I did all those common technology reset things people tell you to do when you have difficulties. None of them worked. Then I realized that it was the forum itself. Made me fell like my dream was coming true. I didn’t panic thankfully. The next morning I did decide to message US about the situation with the Saberforum. I had excellent customer service with the online chat. Someone got back to me instantly. I don’t see how people could have such terrible experiences with the company overall. I knew I would have a great journal entry to share here.

Journal 5/14/23

I managed to have a night without nightmares with my Dominicide. I am very proud of myself. Also there has been no insomnia monster in sight. On another thread here someone said something about US having so many hilt styles that reminded me of what Emory The Great said in the v5 introduction video or myself with toothpaste or hair care products. I know that The Great doesn’t want to make his fans mad by not having the older models of his sabers available. I wish it was the same for toothpaste or hair care products. Hope everyone is doing well.

Still going strong with the Dominicide and not having nightmares. Also the insomnia monster is being quiet in the household. Hope everyone is doing well.

I miss you so much. I was wondering how you we’re doing. I was very worried about you. How much of this journal have you read? I am happy to know someone enjoys this journal. I am very surprised that someone commented after such a boring journal entry.  I think of you every time I write in this journal because of the term you coined that I use all the time that would be “sleep saber”.

On the other hand I am very worried about my other friend here Cyclops942. I use his term “Insomnia Monster” all the time too.

Journal 5/22/23

A few nights ago my parents were watching a movie about plays. It made me want to work on mine. I was afraid that I would have nightmares after over hearing the movie. So I took precautions that night and thankfully no nightmares. I knew not to use the crimson Dominicide. I used the plush one instead and my original night saber.  The Insomnia Monster tried to get me instead.

I hope you beat that dumb monster into submission. That's what US sabers are for!

I'm doing fine. Moved cities. big city toward small village really. So bit of shifting to get used to stuff.
I do'nt really come as much as I used to.

Too funny! Reminds me of that dream about Emory The Great and what I use my sabers for.  I am so glad to see you back here. Hope you enjoy your new place.

I have been sleeping well and the Insomnia Monster is leav the household alone. I am now debating if I should put the Dominicide in first place for best sleep saber. I have been having dreams but nothing really good to write about here. Hope everyone is doing well.

I did remember a dream piece from last night. Something to do with the Insomnia Monster and listening to the default obsidian sound font to combat the Insomnia Monster and to relax. I am thankful that I did finally have a lightsaber dream that I could remember. Hope everyone is doing well.

Just want to let everyone know that I am doing well and there has been no Insomnia Monster present in the household. I have been ignoring my v2 saber the last week or so. Hope everyone is doing well.

I danced for my friend the cat lady today. I am also communicating with others here on the forum about the new ultraproffie board. We are talking a lot about Emory on it. It is so hard for me to not write The Great instead of Emory. I am going to update my stats (vitals) and put the Crimson Dominicide back in number one sleep saber spot.

I am having a very fun time on the ultraproffie thread here. On that thread I did  ask about my play and how it would work with ultraproffie. A member said I should become a font maker for Emory. Reminds me so much of my dream a had about working for The Great. I know my relationship may become a mess but I still am interested and support healthcare education and simulation.

I also noticed The Great introduced a new saber last night. I now see how annoying he can be about his soundboards. Especially his new ultraproffie one. To me sound in my sabers is a novelty and gets annoying very fast. To me Emory will always be The Great to me.

The Insomnia Monster has been wreaking havoc on the household lately. Night before last I couldn’t sleep. Now last night my mother had the monster after her. Hopefully things will get better soon.

Journal 6/12/23

I got rid of the  Insomnia Monster last night by using a different saber. I went back to my original night saber and put my night blade on it. Sometimes it is good to change things up from time to time.

On another note I danced for The Cat Lady and her cat today. I also taught Felicia a new dance step today. Sure learned a lot about gestures on the diamond board today. When I dance I always skip over my disaster font.

On those nights when the saber isn't quite cutting it, let me suggest perusing our Fan Fic Forum.  I can personally attest to some incredible creators, specifically Lord_S_Gray, Karmack, Taegin Roan for writing and For Tyeth with visual renderings.  All have quite excellent submissions to check out^^

Journal 6/15/23

The Insomnia Monster got me last night. On the good side I had a fun dream about my journal here. My old English teacher from high school was reading my journal. That made me happy. I think she enjoyed it. I am also eyeing another saber used online that would be a diamond Grand Master. Stay tuned there will big entries soon regarding my one year ownership of my first saber and the start of this journal journey.

Journal 6/17/23

The Insomnia Monster has been crazy lately. Both my mother and I couldn’t sleep a few nights ago. I have been using my original night saber lately. Turns out I ordered it a year ago yesterday. I do find it comfortable with my night blade on it as well as other blades. Since that awful monster has been after me so much I think I will go back to my v2 saber with night blade tonight.

Was not expecting to write today but I did something that would make a great journal entry. While I was dancing for The Cat Lady today I dropped my saber and hit a tree with it too. Thankfully no damage to the saber especially since it was my diamond saber I use for dancing. I am also excited because I probably will be getting the used Grand Master diamond soon.

I finally beet the dumb Insomnia Monster a few nights ago. I am very glad it is finally leaving me alone. I was getting tired of that monster.

On a fun note my main sleep saber the Crimson Dominicide got to go out today. I have been dancing with it lately. Also I will know in exactly one day if I am getting the diamond Grand Master I found used on line.

In regards to dreams I can remember a fragment I had about this journal. I wish I could remember more.

Journal 6/22/23

Sorry for the one year update. I was consumed by the Insomnia Monster and possibly buying a used Grand Master diamond. Turns out I didn’t get that saber.

So now on to my one year review of the Aeon v5 le lite sound. I will not go into soundboards or overall US in general. Those are whole other stories in themselves.

Overall a nice saber. I bought it with a 24 inch ultra edge mid grade blade. I now keep a 32 inch ultra edge heavy grade blade on it. When I do eventually get more blades I will buy it a full on night blade for it (40 inch). Love the gold claws on it for looks but not so much for dancing or dueling.

Trying to grab a dream piece. I was looking up what conventions US attends because I am planning on going to a convention next year in real life. I saw that they would be attending one in Los Angles CA and then I saw San Francisco CA. Next I was at the convention in my dream.

My one year review of my first saber and having my friends comment on my review. I read one that kind of scared me . I was prepared for nightmares and thankfully did not have one.

Also that dumb monster tried to get me last night because I was trying my original night saber the Aeon v5 le by itself last night. I switched to my Dominicide before the monster took hold.

Really not much to write about today since I wrote my one year review of my old night saber. I definitely have to say that the Crimson Dominicide is my best sleep saber.  Hope everyone is doing well.

Journal 6/28/23

Before I went to bed last night I was playing with my Fallen pretending to beet up the Insomnia Monster. It worked and I had no problems with it last night.

I also noticed since the time I dropped the Fallen dancing it has been acting up a bit especially when changing fonts. I get stuck on then like I do in my dreams.

Speaking of dreams I did have one last night but I can’t remember it.

I had another dance accident yesterday and dropped my fallen again. Thankfully no damage. The Insomnia Monster is keeping to its self lately. I am also impressed how popular my one year review of my old night saber is.

The Insomnia Monster struck last night.  I am quite tired today. Otherwise I am doing well. I have been dancing more often since the weather has been nice. Hope everyone is doing well.

The Insomnia is now leaving me alone. I switched to a different saberl since I wrote in this journal. I am now using the saber I made. I am also reconsidering my want to go back to the medical convention next year. I have been keeping up with my dancing. Hope everyone is doing well. I know I have had dreams lately but i can’t remember them.

I have been doing something different with my sabers at night. I have been using my night blade by itself lately. I really need to buy some more night blades. I wish there were 40 inch or larger grab bag blades.

I recently saw in the news that SDCC is happening very soon. I so wish that The Great would go to San Deigo. US does attend WonderCon in Anaheim CA why not San Deigo? Does The Great have something against San Deigo?

On another note I am reconsidering going toIMSH the medical convention next year. Compared to an anime convention I would get more out of it for you money the medical convention. I so do want to meet The Great. I also just want to take a moment to honor all healthcare workers. I really respect what the do even though I hate going to doctors.

I guess I have been dancing too much. I have an old injury acting up. Otherwise I am fine. A few nights ago my mother had the Insomnia Monster after her. For me that monster has only been mild. Hope everyone is doing well.

The Insomnia Monster has been busy in the household lately. Night before last it got everybody in the house.  I soon need to start on my one year review of my Azure Fallen diamond. Hope everyone is doing well, and i miss you all.

The Insomnia Monster got me last night but once I got to sleep I slept. I have been dancing almost every day. I have been thinking about what saber I want next. Also what soundboard too.

I remembered my dream. I was at a party and I was dancing with my sabers. I was also explaining to the guests about them. I am very happy that I remembered a dream.

I feel like I have been jinxed by the Insomnia Monster. It has been after me every night for a while now. I may have to try my Fallen as a night saber.

On a fun note I will be doing my one year review of my Fallen diamond within the next week or so.

I had a night of nightmares last night. One had to to do with fire and my disaster costume and font. No fun.  I also had a dream about going to ComicCon.  I definitely prefer the Insomnia Monster over nightmares.

The good news is that my friend Cyclops942 is back here. I am so glad to see him back here. I was very worried about him.

Thanks for the welcome, but don't get used to seeing me frequently; it will likely take a while.

I had a horrible night with the Insomnia Monster.

I also am going to start my one year Azure Fallen diamond review.  It is my main dancing saber and lately it has been going out with me every day. I use it as a daytime saber and I try not to use it at night. I have tried it at night but I want to be careful with it. On the contrary I probably would be gentler on it at night. Since it is a diamond I had many intentions on what I was going to use it for. For example a play I am writing and for natural disasters.

Continuing from my last journal entry I forgot to mention that I also got an Initiate v2 with my Azure Fallen diamond.

I will do my one year review of that saber now.

Initiate v2 stunt orange

I got it as a free gift from US during one of their sales. At first I would not have chosen it to buy because it looked boring. Turns of it is my second favorite sleep saber I own. I keep a 40 inch ultra edge heavy grade blade on it. I love that it has no sharp edges on it or windows.  It also has the best battery life of all my sabers. I can compare it to the Enegizer bunny because it just keeps on going with whatever batteries I use in it. I actually would consider buying another one and having a double sided saber with it.

I had a wonderful night without the monster last night using my Dominicide.  I also have had some dancing accidents lately that have jarred the internals of my Azure Fallen diamond. Hope everyone is doing well.

It feels so good to know how to fall asleep. I have been doing the same routine with the Dominicide since my last journal entry and no visits from the Insomnia Monster.

Happy birthday to me.  Still going strong without the Insomnia Monster. I have noticed that why I am sleeping so easily is that how heavy the Dominicide is. I love that it is a beast. Hope everyone is doing well.

I have had two nightmares in a row. No fun. So I decided not to use my Dominicide last night and take a chance with the Insomnia monster.  Oh boy did the monster get me last night.  I don’t know what I rather deal with…the Insomnia Monster or nightmares.

Thankfully those crazy nights with the nightmares and the Insomnia Monster are over.

I did something really out of the ordinary last night. I used my Fallen diamond with night blade last night. It was very comfortable. I am tempted to use it more at night but I do want to be careful with it and use it mostly for dancing. I am now tempted to buy another fallen with 40 inch blade to use as a sleep saber. If I do it will be just a stunt set up.

Journal 8/11/23

I decided not to buy another US saber… but I did buy the other one I have been eyeing.
I decided to just go with the stunt version of it. Otherwise that saber would be everything I don’t look for in soundboards such as pixel, smooth swing and all those other things people love that I hate. The only problem with going stunt is that I do like some of the fonts it comes with that are special to that company’s sabers.

I am very tired of the nightmares I have been having with my Dominicide. That is one reason I decided to give in and buy another saber.  When I don’t use it the Insomnia Monster  rear’s it’s head. Speaking of my last journal entry when I did try my Fallen with night blade I slept well without the Monster.

I know in the future I will be buying more US sabers because I am a loyal fan of Emory The Great. To me once a great always a great. My nights are so much different now since I got into lightsabers.

Journal 8/13/23

I was dueling last night and I noticed that I had messed up my disaster font on my diamond Fallen  At least I know how I did it and know how to fix it. I know it it was from teaching Felicia new dance steps. Before I do fix it I will read up one a few questions I have about the board. Thankfully I do have my Apprentice v5 hot pink stunt to use if a disaster strikes.

Journal 8/15/23

Again I had a night full of nightmares. So no fun. I had another version of a dream I wrote about here. It the medical one. I was at the doctor and needed to have surgery.  I found the old dream here it is.


Nightmare last night. What I can remember is that I was going to have a surgical procedure and I was begging the doctor not to put me out. I had two of my sabers with me in the or one was my v2 with night blade and I don’t remember what other one probably my Aeon v5 le. In real life I am afraid of doctors. I also would be doing exactly what I was doing in my dream in real life if I ever needed surgery. I don’t know exactly what these nightmares are about. I hope it doesn’t have to do with my relationship.

In the new version I think I also had my Fallen along with my v2 with night blade in the OR in my dream.

I thankfully know why I had that nightmare last night.

Had another night of weird dreams.  I can remember two fragments of them.

Tomorrow I am going to a disaster preparedness event and I will be in costume at it.  On the positive note my disaster font is not mis behaving as much anymore. I will make sure I have two sabers with me.

I have been enjoying watching The Great’s newest videos of the new sabers. So many new sabers coming to US. I thankfully am not interested in them. All of them look uncomfortable for what I use them for. If I was my pocket book would hate me. I recently spent a sizable amount on a different brand saber. That one will take months to get.I do think the new version of the Fallen is nice but that pommel looks so uncomfortable and an accident waiting to happen.

I have been having the worst time with the Insomnia Monster the last few nights. At least I don’t have to deal with nightmares. Hope everyone is doing well.

Journal 8/25/23

Bad news I accidentally sat on my original saber blade a mid grade ultra edge last night and pretty much broke it.
I guess I may have to make another order from US sooner then I thought I would. I am definitely staying with heavy grade blades from now on. I thankfully am getting one with the other brand saber I bought for my birthday. So thankful that I decided to go heavy grade with it.

I now can prove that I am rough on blades and sabers. Just imagine what I would be like with a pixel saber. Thankfully they do not appeal to me.

I decided not to buy more blades yet because I am using my night blade in my v2 instead of my Dominicide. I will wait until I get the other brand saber in a few months.

There’s good news too. The Insomnia Monster has been quite in the household.

Journal 8/30/23

The Insomnia Monster was crazy last night. I couldn’t sleep. At least I didn’t have any nightmares. The weather is smoky and there is no wildfires near where I live. I do have to go to that appointment I have the nightmares about today. I know one reason why the monster got me last night. I was using the wrong saber. I mostly just use my plush saber I made now since I broke the blade to my Dominicide.

I have not been feeling so well the last few days. I kind of know it is from anxiety and lack of sleep. Also the weather has been smoky too. The insomnia monster was pretty bad last night but i did manage to get some sleep. I think I should go back to using the Dominicide at night.

On the positive side I did have a dream about Emory the Great recently.

Journal 9/3/23

I almost had to go see a doctor yesterday. I actually was willing to go if I had to. I was having allergies.  Turns out about that other medical type appointment I am so nervous about got canceled. I also almost bought another US saber because I was a bit upset about the doctor.

On another note I have been seeing the cat lady at the coffee shop instead of at her house. So that means I have not been dancing. I am ready to dance or for those emergency situations because I have my saber with me when I go out.

I also remember a dream fragment. I bought a Archon v3.1 in my dream. In real life I am on the fence about getting another US saber. I do want new blades.

At least the Insomnia Monster has not been bothering me the last few nights.

Got the word that I will be getting the new saber from the other company I have been talking about in this journal in a week or so. I guess I spoke to soon about having to buy new blades from US sooner than I thought.  I forgot to mention that my new saber comes with a 36 inch blade.

Make that sooner for the new saber. It will be here this week. I also am going to do a one year review of the Apprentice v5 stunt very soon.

I had a better night last night because I went back to my Dominicide. Turns out the Insomnia Monster got another member of the household instead.

It is back to that not so nice feeling of waiting for a new saber. For me it is the over active flash on clash feeling. I am a sad and frustrated Jedi today because I was told I was going to get the new saber today. At least I did manage to nap today not like the time with the Apprentice v5. I also did another wise thing by saying I was not going to have tonight’s sleep on my new 36 inch blade or be still using my US blades tonight. Hope everyone is doing doing better then how I am feeling.

Still no word on when I am getting my new saber. I did have a dream a few nights ago with Emory the Great in it.  Very tired of the over active flash on clash anxiety I get around getting a new saber. Very frustrating.

Still no word on the new saber. Very worried about it. I am very excited to see what dancing and sleeping with it will be like. I guess I will be a very frustrated Jedi for awhile.

I guess I spoke too soon. I did get the new saber today. Can’t wait to have a night on a 36 inch blade.

I love my new saber. Not an Insomnia Monster in sight. 36 inch heavy grade blade very comfortable as comfortable as my 40 inch night blade. Also it is great for spinning and dancing. I accidentally tried dancing with a 36 inch blade. At least I didn’t hurt myself. Thank goodness no more anxiety and over active flash on clash feelings. I don’t think I will be buying anymore saber for awhile. I am not using my Dominicide as my main night saber anymore. I am also interested in what types of dreams I will have with the new saber.

Last night I gave my old night saber the Aeon v5 le a chance at being my main sleep saber.

I also saw something kind of scary on the US website. A whole slew of new pixel sabers. Makes me feel like I am living in that weird dream I had about everything going pixie and proffie. To me I feel like The Great is off setting his brand of sabers with other brands to not have so much hate for his company and himself. I feel sorry for The Great. Why the Ultrasaber hate? I did try another brand of saber. I do like it but I probably will stay with US. To me this community here has been very helpful in me making friends.

Actually, the addition of the other sabers is because some people want them and we are making them available along with our sabers, kind of a one-stop shop. They are definitely not outselling our sabers, but they are available for people who want that kind of thing and they come with all the Ultrasabers perks, like the 1 year warranty, great customer service, and of course amazing sales. We will continue to custom build our sabers and offer the variety that is appealing to the masses. We appreciate your support :)

Journal 9/19/23

I remembered my dream from last night. It was another version of my disaster dream. I was in costume with my disaster font in the dream. It was a deadly wildfire type of disaster in my dream.

On another note I did use my Dominicide last night. I also am using my new 36 inch blade by itself. That means I don’t have enough blades for all my sabers now. There is also good news in the house no Insomnia Monster.

The Insomnia Monster has been quite in the household. I also had some dancing accidents today. I keep hitting myself in the arm with the covertec wheel on my Azure Fallen. I looked down at my arm and there is a goose egg on it.

I have been dealing with the Insomnia Monster more often then I want so I decided to go back to using the Dominicide as my main sleep saber. Good news monster left as soon as it saw I was using that saber.

I would like to take a moment to remember those who died and or lost their homes and businesses during the 2017 Northern CA Wine County Wildfires.

Now a days I am prepared for a disaster with my disaster font ready at any moment.

On the positive side of things my dancing injury has healed.

There was another small disaster in the neighborhood today. It was a small residential fire with sadly an injury. Speaking of injuries the goose egg is back on my arm from dancing accidents. Back to the disaster I did have my disaster font on my saber when I went to investigate the disaster. I wish I had the rest of the costume. My friend The Cat Lady heard the sound of fire engines. I saw a few go by a block or so away from where we were. I put my saber in disaster mode and went to investigate the disaster.

I woke up to a nice surprise by seeing most of my friends logged in here. I have been doing well with the sleep. No Insomnia Monster to speak of in the household. On the not  nice side my dancing injury has made me not dance as much as I want to. Hope everyone is doing well.

I updated my stats vitals on my signature here today.  Becides the sabers I mentioned in my stats I mostly just use my 36 inch heavy grade blade by itself.  Also still going strong without the Insomnia Monster.

I was having nightmares this morning. My nightmares were about a neighborhood MCI disaster. I also had broken my Azure Fallen diamond when I needed it for the disaster. Someone who knew about diamond sabers tried to fix it. That didn’t work. All so frustrating.

I decided not to go to the medical convention next year. I would rather use the money to meet Emory The Great. I know my decision without a doubt will cause stress on my relationship. I still do value healthcare education and simulation. On the good side of things no Insomnia Monster.

I just had a great dream about Emory The Great. I was at the anime convention and I got to meet The Great. We actually talked with each other and he was nice to me compared to that other dream when he said something very rude. When I woke up from today’s dream I was very happy compared to the other dream I had about The Great when he was rude. That one I literally scared myself awake saying “Talk about rude!”

In real life I met someone who knows another US user near me. That is probably why I had such a great dream this morning. I really want to meet the person in real life or here on my journal.

The weather has been so cold at night lately so I have been sleeping next to my sabers rather than how I would otherwise. Thank goodness no Insomnia Monster in the household.

On the dark side I am going to need wisdom tooth surgery very soon. I have had two of them removed already so o know what it will be like. I have been putting it off for a while now knowing my fear of surgery and doctors.

The Insomnia Monster was busy last night in the household. The monster tried my mother first and then got me. Thankfully have not had to deal with that monster for awhile. I hope this is just a one night occurrence.

Thankfully that was only a one night occurrence with the Insomnia Monster. I also got the dental surgery I needed done yesterday. It was very scary.  The good news is I fell much better then when I had the problem tooth.

I have been using my Dominicide lately as my main sleep saber because the Insomnia Monster has been trying to get me at night. The monster has been trying all the members of the household lately. The sabers went out to the yearly party in the community that I go to every year last night. I went dancing too with them.  Felt good to get back to dancing because I have been taking it easy because of the dental surgery I had.

I am feeling so much better then I was a year ago.  I had Covid a year ago. I also had the Insomnia Monster after me. I am so thankful that I don’t have them this year. I will so be doing my one year review of the Crimson Dominicide soon. Also my relationship issues have settled down too.

The Insomnia Monster got me last night. At least I know what to about it. I use the Dominicide when the monster rear’s it’s head. At least I did manage to get some sleep.

Oh crap! I am sick again on the same day a year ago today. I am still planning on writing my one year review of the crimson Dominicide I got a year ago. At least it is not Covid just a GI bug. I will write the one year review on the review sub forum here and will link it here in my journal.

The Insomnia Monster got my mother last night. I am feeling sad that nobody commented on my one year Dominicide review.  Hope everyone is doing well.

I had something cool happen today. Around a month or so ago I started wearing my saber on my hip with the covertec clip when I go out. At the coffee shop I go to eat and write in this journal one of the girls who works there saw my saber and wanted to learn more about them. Also a week or so ago I actually did a dance show at the coffee shop when I got just a friend of mine and some of the girls who work there. They all liked my dancing. When I go out I am always ready for a disaster (I keep the Fallen in disaster mode) or for dancing. I got inspired to wear my sabers out from a video of someone who wore them while traveling internationally by airplane and around the international airport. In my opinion that would be the last place I could imagine to see something like that. Now I feel like there’s nothing to be ashamed of. I used to keep the sabers in my bag when I went out because I would often go dancing for the Cat Lady on my way to the coffee shop.

Here is the dream I talked about in the last entry in this journal.

Yet another version of one of my nightmares about wearing my sabers. It was the first day of school and I was wearing my sabers the Fallen and my non US saber. We were deciding on who would be my case manager. Next my teacher approached me and said something to the words that she noticed my sabers and had called my mother about them. I think she was mad at me. I was very scared, anxious and mad at her. But thankfully she told me that I could wear one of my sabers. It was my newest saber the non US one. She said that she didn’t want to upset me more then I was at the time of the incident. I almost fainted and quickly wanted to take a break and write in my journal. I also told her that I use them for disasters. I can’t remember if this was part of my dream of IRL. I was going to change my disaster clothes and font to the same shade of blue that my non US saber has.

I knew the Insomnia Monster would get someone in the family last night because they had to get up very early in the morning to get to a medical appointment.

The good news it wasn’t me. I have not written for the last few days because the monster has been leaving me alone. I don’t want to jinx things. I have mostly been using just my 36 inch night blade by itself.

I saw last night The Great introducing a who bunch of new sabers. Again like the last batch they all look uncomfortable to me. The only interesting new thing the skinny blades. I wonder how long they are and if we can buy them separately from the sabers. Are they mid or heavy grade? Too bad they aren’t ultra edge. I prefer my night blades to be ultra edge.

The Insomnia Monster has been quite in the household lately. I do have that awful medical type appointment this week. I am very nervous about it. The only thing I am  interested in telling them at the appointment is about the nightmares I have had about it. Hopefully I will not have another one before I go. I have been putting off Holliday shopping because of what happened before when I thought I was going to have this appointment and was wanting for my newest saber. I got sick and almost had to go to a doctor. I learned my lesson the hard way. Miss you all who comment on my journal here.

Very good news no Insomnia Monster or nightmares last night! I did something so dumb that it outsmarted the dream weaver and the Insomnia Monster. I purposely used the Dominicide because I usually have nightmares when I use it. I also used my 36 inch night blade along with the Dominicide.

The Insomnia monster tried to get me last night. Thankfully it failed.

I also recently had an U.s dream. My mother had gotten a mystery box saber that turned out to be a Crimson Dominicide with the new Ultraproffie soundboard. It was not what I expected to see in a mystery box. The soundboard drove me crazy and I had to shut the thing up. Quite a silly dream.

Finally someone noticed my saber when I went out to the coffee shop. I was wearing my Azure Fallen. I guess that saber is more noticeable then my nonUS saber. That made my day. The Insomnia Monster has not been around lately. Everyone is sleeping well to the best of my knowledge.

There’s been no Insomnia Monster to speak of in the household. I have been giving my Fallen the opportunity to be worn on my hip lately because the weather is too wet for dancing. Also my friend the Cat Lady has not been around when I walk by. I did see here yesterday and had a nice chat in the pouring rain.

I messed up my hand over the holidays and now having to consider an orthopedic surgeon. I have carpal tunnel from my earlier years as a dancer. I did dance yesterday and it was painful at first but no so much after I got back into the motion of my dancing. I was in pain last night but thankfully feels a lot better this morning. You all know how much I hate doctors. I am very scared of the thought of surgery but I know many people who have had it and had a good ex with it. It would be a good time to do it because of the weather and that I am not dancing very much. Hope everyone has a happy new year.

On another note about the medical convention is that I definitely will attend sometime again in my life. I am a little sad that I am not going this year.

I had a horrible migraine headache last night and I thought I would have the Insomnia Monster after me. Thankfully the monster didn’t show up.  I do miss dancing. The weather has been wet lately.

I had a creepy dream this morning. It was another version of that nightmare about wearing my sabers to school. Thankfully this one did not end badly or scary. My old therapist was in the dream. Also my old English teacher was in it too. I can just grab pieces of the dream. I wish I wrote it down earlier.

I will be honoring healthcare workers this coming week because this is the time of the year for the medical convention I have been to. I am so glad that I don’t have to write a whole play in a day or so. I will write here if I have any dreams that stand out.

The sad thing was during the time of the medical convention there was a real disaster nearby where the convention was located in San Deigo CA. Not to mention the mock disaster play did go on at the convention. You could guess how I would have been dressed and what font I would be using.

I see from the last email update US has pulled another Great by getting new basic soundboards. Also no information on how they work and what fonts are on them. To me the new board sounds like a cross between the diamond board and obsl board meaning not programming port also throw in smooth swing from the ultraproffie board. As I mentioned on another thread about The Great that he doesn’t want to upset his customers by getting rid of old hilt styles but he has done with the soundboards. Sorry for the rambling entry.

The Insomnia Monster is leaving me alone…but the dream weaver is making me a little crazy with nightmares.  My nightmares consist of medical appointments, needing surgery, conventions. The only good part was in one of the dreams The Great was nice to me and actually said “hello’” to me when I walked by the US booth at a convention in my dream.

I remembered my dream. My dream was I was ina combo of high school and an adult day program for people with disabilities. The saber I was allowed to wear in a previous version of this dream was in my dream. My teacher decided not to let me wear it. A friend from school also wore one. I warned him mot to do so. To me when I would get dressed in the morning I did not feel completely dressed without my saber.

A positive update on the medical appointment that I have nightmares about. I got the report yesterday and finally the case manager got it right about me. I still am terrified of doctors. At least the report did not upset me. I just realized what the meaning of one of my dreams make that a nightmare meant. It was this nightmare

I had a very nice encounter at the coffee shop today. As soon as I walked in someone noticed my Azure Fallen and noticed it was a Cal Kestis saber. I also did a dance show at the coffee shop today.

The dream weaver has been very busy last night. The dream I had last night was very complex. It was a mix of many of my current dream themes.

Dream

I was getting ready for school. I knew I couldn’t wear my sabers. I was trying different outfits to see if I could find one that could hide the saber in it. I gave up trying.  I feel naked and not fully dressed without them. I did have them in a sling backpack. I also had my usual bag with paperwork in it for school. This time in the dream the real disasters happened. It was tornadoes where I live. I was ready for the disaster. As soon as I was to be dropped off at school we could see funnel clouds forming. I was thinking should I put the blade in my saber. I then was in the classroom about to work on a writing project about this set of dreams. The tornado hit. I whip out my Azure Fallen in disaster mode. I turn out to be the hero again during the disaster. I didn’t have time to confront my teacher/ case manager in the dream about my sabers.

Yet another version of the dream I keep having about my teacher and wearing my sabers. This time in the dream I got caught wearing my Azure Fallen. She was forcing me to surrender it to her. I said I wanted to talk with her about it.

Journal 2/26/24 Extra Extra Read All About It!

I had two very interesting things happen today.

One was I was in one of those bathrooms that has automatic shut off lights. The lights shut off on me while I was on the throne. It was pitch dark. Thankfully I had my Azure Fallen on my hip at that time. I knew what to do. I used it to find the light switch. It reminded me of the dreams I have been having because that would be a great example of when a saber would come in handy in every day life.

Also I run into my old principal while grocery shopping. He was from the same school as the teacher who is in my dreams is from. I was nervous when I saw him. You could guess I was wearing my saber when he saw me. Thankfully he didn’t notice it.

I am very nervous about what the dream weaver will do to me tonight.

I had a night with the Insomnia Monster.

I did remember my dream. Thankfully I broke the cycle of that nightmare about wearing my sabers to school.  My dream went back to my usual disaster dream. The type of disaster was a small house fire started by a toaster. I was out of the house in disaster mode with my Azure Fallen. I couldn’t find the blade retention screw so I had to hold the blade in place during the disaster.

I got rid of the Insomnia Monster last night. I have switched to my Dominicide rather than just using my 36 inch night blade. I am tired today because the day after having the Insomnia Monster you feel tired from sleep debt.

Again I had a very nice experience at the coffee shop with my sabers. I very kind older gentleman noticed my sabers. We had a nice chat about soundboards and programming.

I remembered a fragment of a dream I had last night. It was that my Azure Fallen broke and I was going to have to send it back to The Great to have it fixed. The Insomnia Monster has only been mild lately.

I went back to using my original 40 inch night blade last night because the 36 inch one was feeling a little short.  I also had a nightmare last night about doctors. Wish I could remember more of my dream.

The other night my mom had the Insomnia Monster after her. It also got me too that night. Otherwise not much of a problem with the monster.

It likes like today will be a great day for dancing. I am also quite happy that that crazy dream loop about my old teacher and wearing my saber is over. The only good thing about nightmares is that it gives me something to write about.

Happy St Patty’s Day

I remembered a dream piece from last night. Something to do with a structure fire and I was using my non US saber for the disaster.

In real life I am giving my Fallen some time off as my saber I wear everyday. I am wearing my non US saber because my clothes have changed to spring and summer clothing.

I woke this morning a very fragmented dream. I wrote down some pieces of it when I woke up. I really wish I could remember more of the dream because it was interesting.

A school friend winning three times at least very high levels in an US raffle.
I was jealous. She did decide to give me one of the sabers. I chose the Survivor LE. I didn’t know what soundboard it had until I turned it on. It was one of the new ultraproffie things. Probably with a pixel blade.I hated it. I was going to have to gut it and get new electronics for it.

I gave the Insomnia Monster an opportunity to haunt me last night. I was up with GI issues from what I ate last night. I thankfully am feeling better this morning. Turns out I went to sleep over an hour later than I usually do.

I remembered something I have been meaning to write in this journal. One of the reasons why I stay with US and The Great is that you can get 40 inch blades. I haven’t seen any other company that has that option. I can really tell that 4 inch difference between a 36 and 40 inch blade.

I had my neck go out yesterday to the point I couldn’t turn or tilt my head. It is feeling almost all better today. I am not going to dance for the next few days. Thankfully my range of motion is almost back to normal. I know it was one of those freak occurrences of aging. My mother had a similar thing happen to her at the same age as I am.

While I was taking a nap today I had a version of multiple nightmares and dreams. In the dream it had to do with getting two new US sabers. One was a Frankinsaber the other was the dark negotiator. They both turn out to have the new ultraproffie boards with pixel blades. At first I thought one was a diamond but when I went to change fonts it didn’t work the same way a diamond does. Also before I knew it was an ultraproffie I was going to if it was a diamond transplant into my fallen I own in real life because that saber was broken in the dream. Someone also wanted to update all of my sabers to the new battery and board setups. That made me mad because I don’t like the new setups. In my dreams when anyone wants to fix my sabers they break them even more.   

Another part of the dream had to do with the medical convention with the Animae convention taking place the next on the list of conventions taking place at the convention center. I was there for the medical convention but wished I could stay a few more days to meet The Great. Very frustrating dream.

My mother is being haunted by the Insomnia Monster. She is away on a business trip. The monster always follows here when she goes away.

On the other hand I told myself last night I wanted to see Emory The Great in my dream. Low and behold the only piece of my dream I can remember is Emory The Great. Thank you dream weaver! Such a nice feeling to wake up to.

I danced today at the coffee shop because some people were very interested in my sabers. My neck is about the same as yesterday still not 100%.

First some bad news. The forum has been down over the weekend. So like last time it happened I waited a few days. I knew everyone was at the convention I want to attend. I did message them this morning and yet again had excellent customer service.

The good news is I thankfully didn’t have any significant dreams or events happen that needed to be journaled.

Today I am taking time to honor healthcare workers by taking a class with the group I go to the medical conventions with.

I got attacked by the Insomnia Monster last nights. Thankfully it waited until this journal was back up and running.

On the light side I am thankful that this site is back up and running. It feels good to get back into the routine of journaling.

On the dark side I think that during the time the forum was down I lost a journal entry. I swear that I wrote about the person who comments on how I dress with my sabers.

Yesterday it eventually happened… the dreams about breaking my Azure Fallen came true somewhat. I got the retention screw stuck in the emitter. I had been ignoring the sticky screw for awhile. I started a new thread about it. I thankfully found a temporary solution to the problem. I will link the thread here. I will also do a photo shoot of it. Haven’t tried dancing with the new setup. I hope it doesn’t rub on my fingers or knuckles.

I did one of those things I kind of been waiting for. Example breaking a blade, hitting a tree, or using my saber in a disaster. This time it was accidentally turning my Dominicide on at night. Since the weather has been hot I am using the Dominicide more. I knew when what I did with the saber tonight would make a great extra for my journal.

I found the dream I mentioned in regard to breaking my Azure Fallen. Here’s the dream  My dream went back to my usual disaster dream. The type of disaster was a small house fire started by a toaster. On the bright side I did try dancing with my second generation fix for my Azure Fallen. It works well enough but I still would like to get a replacement emitter for that saber. I am wondering who I should contact abut it. I will have the photo shoot up soon.

I’m scared! And hopefully not going to get mad.

Has someone pulled a Emory The Great on US. What’s happening or had happened to diamond boards!? I hope this is not joke. In a video when The Great introduced the new V5 sabers he said that he doesn’t want to make people mad by getting rid of the V2,3,4 sabers. Looks like he has done it again with soundboards. Doing a Great is getting rid of something that people like and keep coming back for. Or telling someone that the new version of an old product is better. (Like toothpaste or hair care products) You know how much I hate proffie smooth swing pixel blades and all the things that come with it!? I forgot to say that I am always a US and Emory The Great fan. Not having the Insomnia Monster is life changing for me.

When the new boards were released there’s no information about what is on them and how to use and or program them that I can understand.

I am interested in learning more about your basic soundboard set up. I think it might work for me. What fonts are on it? I will ramble more tomorrow.

Journal 5/22/24

The dream weaver was nice to me last night. No nightmares! I used my Dominicide last night because I usually have nightmares when I use it. I out smarted the dream weaver. I had been using my 36in night blade and my plush Dominicide I made recently. I did have from what I can remember from my dreams last night I believe that my sabers were in them.

On the other hand my mother had the Insomnia Monster after her.

Back to my rambling from yesterday I feel as if The Great has left US hanging because there is no good information about what the options are for soundboards. Also a comparison of features would be very helpful. I am very frustrated. I probably will start a new thread with all these questions here.

I feel like I need to ramble again to my journal tonight. I did look at the main site and found a little information and a few answers to my questions about soundboards.  At least I found out that the new basic soundboard will not work for me.  Looks like my sound saber days are over. I definitely will buy more stunt sabers in my lifetime.

I want to apologize for my crazy rants about soundboards I did look into this matter more and found that I could live with the new obs v4 soundboard.

On the other hand the Insomnia Monster is making its rounds in the household. It has been after my mother for days now. It decided to try me last night.

Since I have been upset and frustrated with what has happened to diamond soundboards I have been looking into other boards offered my US and other saber companies. I am almost to the point of deciding to go pixel for my next saber. I would do the ultra pixel with obs v4 sound. I am convinced after watching Emory The Great’s videos on those features. The only thing I am concerned with is about blade length and if I could use other pixel blades with that set up.oops I just remembered that the saber I want next doesn’t come with that set up. FYI I am talking about daytime, socializing and dancing saber. I will also buy more night blades too. Definitely no pixel blades at night. So many questions I have before buying my next saber.

My mother is still being haunted by the Insomnia Monster. But she is figuring out why she has the monster after her.

I have calmed down about the soundboards now. I want to apologize for my rambling journal entries.  To me Emory The Great will always be The Great.  I know it is ok to be frustrated.

The Insomnia Monster has left the household. Everyone has been sleeping. I have only remembered a few dream fragments.

The dream weaver hasn’t been nice to me lately. I have not had any lightsaber dreams for awhile now. I miss them. I also haven’t been dancing in ages. Since the last time I wrote I did have the Insomnia Monster after me one night.

I finally after what seams like at least two weeks I went dancing at the coffee shop today. I hope now the dream weaver behaves itself and now I will go back to having lightsaber dreams.

I have some interesting news I am actually going to have a video appointment with a medical doctor within a month . They have been bugging me for a long time.  I am quite scared. Good news there’s nothing really wrong with my health just routine stuff.

I also remembered my dream from last night. Finally had the disaster dream again. In my dream I was on a city bus and there was a large fire downtown where I live. It was dark when I got off the bus. You know what I did. I was in disaster mode on my diamond fallen. I didn’t even put the blade in it.

In real life I am very proud and happy with the dream weaver.

I keep forgetting to write what saber I have been using most at night. It has been my v2 with night blade. I have also in the last two nights had dreams that from what I can remember had to do with disasters and sabers.  I also had the Insomnia monster after me last night a bit. I wish I could remember more of my dreams.

On the good side it looks like dancing day today.

I have been having dreams but I can’t seam to grasp them.

On the positive side I watched a review of the new basic soundboard today. It’s ok sounding but not for my liking. It is frustrating that the next saber I would like to buy dose not come with the electronics I would like it to have. After comparing all the boards I would actually eat my words and buy an ultra pixel saber with obs v4 sound. Still holding strong against proffie boards. I don’t want anymore headaches and nightmares that I already have that I would get from a proffie board.

Everyone has been sleeping well in the household. The Insomnia monster has left my mother thankfully.  On another positive note I have calmed down about soundboards. I know it is ok to be sad about it.

Just remembered a dream piece. I had two diamond boards not in sabers in my bag that I had forgotten about. When I realized I had them they were broken. I was upset because I knew I couldn’t get anymore.

It has been very hot and smoky weather the past few days. There are wildfires in the county I live in. Thankfully I am always ready for a disaster. I am thankfully not afraid of wildfires anymore. Before I joined this community. My Azure Fallen is being naughty today. I was showing it off at the coffee shop. I really don’t want it to act up during disaster season. Hope everyone is staying safe.

Oops! I forgot that it has been a few days over two years since I joined. I am planning on doing two year reviews of my sabers.

Journal 6/23/24

It has been two years since I got my first saber.  To celebrate I put the original pommel on my Aeon v5 le last night. I let that saber be my main sleep saber last night. Overall a very nice saber. It dose have its problems but nothing that bothers me.

Journal 6/24/24

I am having a slight disaster with my diamond saber. I possibly broke a connection inside of it. I can’t tell if it is just a screw or something worse. At least no broken wires. Definitely my nightmares are coming true.  I will take pictures and post them here soon if the problem is worse then I think it may be. I thankfully do have a backup saber to use for disasters.

It started with me getting back into some slow dancing today. My saber runs out of power. When I open it up like most times it is hard to get to the batteries. I must have hit it too hard to get them out. I usually can just shake the saber and they come out. I did what The Great said to do for a stuck battery pack.

I am at the coffee shop right now. I need to get home. I will write more later.

I am home now. Thankfully it was not the bad break I thought it might be. It is just the screw. I will just have to be even more careful with the saber now.
At least the disaster is over now.

While on my way home I did remember my dream. My dream was about the US raffle and also trying to buy another diamond saber. I contacted US about how many diamond boards there were left they said only 4. Two for the raffle and two for sale.

First I did have the insomnia monster after me last night. But thankfully I had a wonderful dream last night finally. All my friends who have written in my journal here were in my dream. I really wish I could remember more of it. So glad like in other versions of this dream I could remember peoples names and not having people being mean to me. I guess that problem with my diamond Fallen triggered the dream weaver into giving me the wonderful dream.

Back to yesterday’s entry about almost having a disaster with my diamond Fallen. I did take pictures of it today. I will definitely be mentioning all the breaks this saber has in its two year review happening in the next month or so.

Journal 6/25/24 extra

There was a small disaster next door to where I live.  As soon as I looked out the window I knew it was time to get into costume. Thankfully this time my diamond Fallen was ready for the disaster. It was a MVA into apartment complex with gas leak. Thankfully it was into the parking lot part of the complex at slow speed. I was doing exactly what I do in my disaster dreams in real life.  A lot of people living near the disaster were out to investigate. They got a dance show from me. Thankfully everyone is ok. It felt good to dance today.

Nothing much to write about this journaling period. I am being way more careful with my Fallen Diamond since the break I had with it. The Insomnia monster as been around the household a little bit.

I dealt with the doctors appointment yesterday. I had butterflies in my gut. The good news is I have not had the dream about having Togo to a doctor since I made the appointment. I told my doctor about getting rid of the Insomnia Monster. That made him happy.

I remembered what I have been meaning to write about here. I have been using my crimson Dominicide as my main sleep saber since the weather has been very hot.

I also remembered a dream piece from last night. I had bought a scorpion saber.

Everyone has been sleeping well without any visits from the Insomnia Monster.  I sadly have not had any significant lightsaber related dreams lately. I still am using my Dominicide as my main sleep saber.

I was tempted to work on my play last night because my parents are watching Grey’s Anatomy and the pair of episodes they watched were the ones that the first line of my play is from. Episodes season 3 episodes 15 and 16.

I had a very bad night with the Insomnia Monster last night.

Also a funny thing happened today when I went out to the coffee shop. I forgot to wear my saber. I had to go back home and get it. Thankfully I was only one block away from home.  It reminded me of my mother forgetting her dentures. I did not feel properly dressed without my saber like my mother feels without her teeth. I knew that action would make a good journal entry.

I'm sorry you are having so many problems with insomnia.  I can relate. Sorry I can't help. I can't even help myself.  Reading your journal though is very helpful. It's nice to know I'm not alone.

I am eyeing two other non US pixel sabers for all things. Both are not Xino or SN pixel or the worst in my opinion proffie. Also not to forget there are more US sabers I do want. I so do miss diamond boards. Makes me sad and frustrated that someone pulled a Great on US. At least I am not mad at The Great himself. What a sad journal entry today.

I also need to start working on my two year review of my Azure Fallen diamond. I have been ignoring that saber lately because of how fragile it is. I think I will wear it today.  Thankfully no disasters where I live.

Finally I had a lightsaber dream. It was a version of the one with my old teacher and wearing sabers to school. I was in trouble. Another member from here was in the dream who was wearing a saber. I was upset in the dream. Something to do with nightmares in the dream. Something to do with a therapist and a journal. I was also talking about my worst living nightmare of brain scans. Wish I could remember more.

I am feeling sad today because I am mi diamond boards. I do want to but a new saber fit my birthday in a few weeks.  I also just remembered that I need to do my two year review of my Azure Fallen diamond within the next few days. I have found one other soundboard that will work f me but it is a darn pixel saber setup. I know that pixel blades usually are between 32-36 inches.  To me that is starting to fall into the realm of night blades. I should try dancing with a 32 inch blade. Also if I switch to a 32+inch blade I wouldn’t be able to carry it in my bad I use daily. That is another reason why I like 24 inch blades because they are easier to carry in my bag. My bag is the size of a laptop bag. Now I just lost my train of thought because my mom just interrupted me while I was writing.

Ok, I kind of remembered what I was going to write about. If I were to get a pixel saber I would want to do be a daytime and dancing saber. But with blades being so long it probably would end up as a sleep saber. Lately my main sl saber has 32 inch blades in it. That would be the one I made.

I need to get ready to go out but I will definitely ramble more here today.

Journal 7/26/24

My Azure Fallen diamond is two years old today. I will be doing a big review post on it within the next few days. I am celebrating that saber today by wearing the clothes I wanted to wear when I first got it. I am also wearing it on my hip today. Haven’t been wearing it much since I have had some near disasters and breaks in it. I hopefully get the opportunity to dance today. I am at the coffee shop writing this entry. I was going to do the big review today but left my headphones at home.  I was going to listen to the music that inspired my theme for the saber. I am actually going to put a night size blade on it tonight and will use it as my main sleep saber tonight.

On another note I wrote a play update on my play thread. I got a response to the entry that told me to look into proffie boards for the play and my next saber. No f*ing way! I rambled a lot about soundboards on that thread.

I am starting on the big two year review of my Azure Fallen diamond today.

But first some breaking news I was tempted to write about at 12:30 in the morning. There was a disaster near San Diego ComicCon that I saw in the news last night.  Link to news

You know what I would be going during the disaster. Almost makes me want to change my play settings back to San Diego.

I did try using a 32 inch blade in my Fallen last night too uncomfortable so I switched to my 40 inch night blade. Much better. Still prefer other sabers at night. The Insomnia tried me last night but got my mother out of bed last night instead.

I also had a dancing accident today. Turned out that my fix to one of my Fallen sabers problems did not work out so well if I do not pay attention to it. The blade shot across the floor. I didn’t that would happen with slow dancing. I knew it would make a good journal entry.

Journal 7/31/24

I bit the bullet and bought myself a new saber for my birthday in five days.  I decided to go with a non US saber because of what has happened to soundboards and that the US saber I want dos not come in the set up I want. As a friend here once told me “it is ok to try different brands of sabers, especially if you are looking for the perfect sleep saber.” I still am and always be a US and Emory The Great fan. My nights are not the same anymore since getting my first ever lightsaber. Hope everyone is doing well.

Just woke up and remembered my dream. The good thing about the dream and dream weaver is that it was a lightsaber dream. The bad was it was another version of that horrible dream about wearing my saber to school and my old teacher. It kind of was a combination of all the dreams in the series. I am thankful that I had this dream but kind of frustrated with the dream weaver.

Journal 8/5/24 Happy birthday to me

Was not a happy birthday at all today.
Computer trouble, new saber anxiety, family medical issues… I officially joined the family anxiety club today. My household is crazy.
I actually want to start writing a paper journal and read paper books after all the technology problems I had today. I also forgot to mention that the new saber I got uses a more industry standard style soundboard. The difference is the board was made special for the brand of saber I got.
Looks like someone is going to have to learn about a new soundboard. It is similar to the new basic soundboard US offers now.

The good thing today was I did get the new saber today.

You probably won’t believe your ears I got a saber with smooth swing. At least I can stand the sound of this new saber and board without wanting to rip it out. I actually like the sound of my new saber. I hope I can have a better day tomorrow. I am feeling stressed and frustrated today.

The other somewhat good thing around this bout of new saber anxiety was it only lasted an hour or so. I managed to sleep it off.

I am still dealing with the anxiety attack I had about my technology problems. I am starting to learn my new sabers soundboard. My household is a bit of a nut house. The Insomnia monster has been making its rounds in the household.

The good news is that I had a lightsaber dream last night. The Great was in it. It again was the combination of the anime convention and the medical convention.

In real life I am paying more attention to healthcare anyway. Hope everyone is doing better the myself.

The Insomnia monster has been making its rounds in the household lately. Last night it had everyone up in the household. I am feeling better about my technology problems.  I am learning my new soundboard. I took a closer look at it and it is a older or lite version of the industry standard soundboard. It is made by one of the big what I call generic brands of soundboards example the new US basic soundboard or xeno,or sn pixel.

Journal 8/13/24

I have been attacked by the Insomnia Monster every night for probably since I had the technology problems and finally acknowledged my anxiety problems going on in my household. The last three nights have been quite bad. Quite frustrating. I feel a bit jinxed. I have not been sticking to my usual routine of using my night blade. I have been trying to switch to plush sabers.  I am most certainly doing back to the real lightsaber blades tonight. I did try my Dominicide last night. Monster got me.

On the nicer side of things is that I tried dancing with my newest saber with smooth swing. It was awful. I hated it. I definitely don’t regret buying it, not like I did with the Apprentice v5. The newest saber will be a great disaster saber. I also am working on another plush saber.

Journal 8/14/24

I almost got rid of the Insomnia Monster. Again I was trying different sabers and blades. I did manage to find the right one. It is my V2 with 40 inch night blade. Should have remembered about that saber a long time ago.

I can almost remember a few dream pieces from last night.

Continuing my entry from last night about dancing with smooth swing. Smooth swing makes dancing very boring. Because there’s no other effects like my US Diamond board has. The only good thing about the new saber and board is that it is easier to do the lock up feature the way I would do it in my play.

Journal 8/16/24

I had a fabulous dream last night.  In the dream I was at the convention again a mix of the anime and medical convention. I did not expect to run into an US saber booth because it was not on the list of exhibitors for the convention.  When I did notice it I was then trying to find Emory The Great. Another person working there told me he had just left and would call and or text him. He came back to meet me. We had somewhat of a disagreement about soundboards. Proffie pixel vs Diamond. I had with me my Azure Fallen diamond and it was acting up and it had the same breaks as in real life in the dream. I wanted him to fix it but I am very nervous about anyone touching that saber in my dream. My mother also got to meet The Great via video call in the dream. I was also talking to The Great and the other people from his company about my journal and what a great journal entry this meeting would be.


In real life I have gotten rid of the insomnia monster and decided on what to do about my technology problems to get some of my anxiety under control. Having such a great dream was a very nice surprise to wake up to.

Journal 8/17/24

Yet another good night with the dream weaver.  A new take on on an old dream theme.  The dream used to be about my relationship. Now the new version of the dream. 

At summer camp again another place where I cannot have my sabers. Like in a previous dream I had one in my backpack. Us campers were finding our baggage.  I was very nervous that someone would find my saber. I wanted to get back to my bags and the saber. When I did manage to find my bags someone doing a security check found my saber. I instantly said when they asked me what is was I said “a flashlight!” Thankfully it was a small stunt saber. I took the blade plug out and turned it on and we both laughed. Thankfully not like in other versions of the dream nothing bad happened to me or the saber.

The Insomnia monster had me last night.  Otherwise I am ok less nutty in the household. Haven’t had any significant lightsaber related dreams since those two I wrote about in the last two entries.

I recently tried my newest non US saber with smooth swing as a sleep saber and tried some slow dancing with it too.  I did sleep well with it one night but the next time I tried it the Insomnia Monster got me.

Journal 9/1/14

The Insomnia monster was making its rounds in my family last night. When I did manage to sleep I woke up to a very fragmented dream that was similar to another dream I had had. This is the dream it reminded me of. Journal 2/23/24

The dream weaver has been very busy last night. The dream I had last night was very complex. It was a mix of many of my current dream themes.

Dream

I was getting ready for school. I knew I couldn’t wear my sabers. I was trying different outfits to see if I could find one that could hide the saber in it. I gave up trying.  I feel naked and not fully dressed without them. I did have them in a sling backpack. I also had my usual bag with paperwork in it for school. This time in the dream the real disasters happened. It was tornadoes where I live. I was ready for the disaster. As soon as I was to be dropped off at school we could see funnel clouds forming. I was thinking should I put the blade in my saber. I then was in the classroom about to work on a writing project about this set of dreams. The tornado hit. I whip out my Azure Fallen in disaster mode. I turn out to be the hero again during the disaster. I didn’t have time to confront my teacher/ case manager in the dream about my sabers.


Dream 9/1/24
In this new dream which I can barely grab I was in class about to start a project for I can’t remember if it was English or History because in real life the same teacher taught both subjects. I knew I was not allowed to wear my saber in class. I did have them in my backpack. All of a sudden everyone ran out of the classroom because there was a disaster (structural fire) outside next door. Knowing I was not allowed to go into disaster mode with my Azure Fallen diamond I stayed put and tried to work on my project. I did take my Azure Fallen out and put it on. Knowing in real life I am a disaster junky I turn on the saber and run out of the classroom with the saber in disaster mode without its blade to investigate the disaster and what other people were doing. I do run past a teacher who I think was the teacher from my adult day program. I woke up before I got into trouble.

Trying to grab my dream again.  It definitely was a version of the dream loop I been having here. While I am trying to write this journal entry I keep feeling like I am going to fall asleep. In this version of the dream I was in yet again a combination of high school and my adult day program I was in. Just like in previous versions of the dream I had my non US saber in my bag. I was getting dressed for physical education. I almost got caught with the saber.

Nothing much to write about this time. The Insomnia monster has bee making its rounds in the household lately. I did buy some cool Star Wars clothes yesterday.

I noticed that I have been taking sleep for granted again.  The Insomnia monster has been bothering me for days. It tried me again last night but I didn’t let it get me. I realized that I do need to use a real lightsaber blade at night. My 40 inch one is the best. From previous entries in this journal I mentioned that I want to switch to plush sabers at night. Turns out that I really cannot do that because the Insomnia Monster rear’s its head every time. It is frustrating. I need to remember not to take sleep for granted. Also Insomnia is not exactly normal and should be taken seriously. Also not doing what some doctors would say to do, that would be learn to live with it. Or t make friends with the .insomnia monster.  I need to remember I do and have the answer to life’s biggest question “how to fall asleep?” I would like to take a moment to appreciate The Great and his company for how much better my nights are since learning about lightsabers.

Journal 9/17/24

Very good news to report. No Insomnia Monster! I have been doing exactly what I should be doing about the Insomnia Monster. No more taking sleep for granted. Also am using my crimson Dominicide as my main sleep saber. I am very glad and thankful that I can get comfortable and not have nightmares using the crimson Dominicide.

On the other hand the Insomnia Monster is still bothering my mother. She actually asked a doctor about her problems with the Insomnia Monster. You can guess what the doctor said. Learn to live with it.

Journal 9/19/24

Turns out I did not get the sabers.

I kind of in a place in which I am not dancing. I have figured out the Insomnia Monster and I will update my sabers stats vitals here. I also kind of want to buy my sabers directly from The Great.  That is because I want 40 inch blades for them. That is one great thing about u.s sabers is that they have 40 inch blades. Haven’t seen that anywhere else.

Journal 9/21/24

Breaking news major saber disaster! I have an almost complete failure of my Azure Fallen diamond. Will post pictures soon. This break is probably un recoverable. Thankfully I have not been dancing much. The break happened during a dance show today. Looks like I need to buy a new dancing saber soon.

When the break happened I realized something was wrong because my blade plug fell out and happened to fall into a trash can.

I am very grateful that the breaks have not been electronic related. If I ever do break my soundboard I will definitely cry.

I fixed the saber by taking the whole thing apart and un twisting the wires inside to free up the LED inside. I then put all the pieces back together because they just became unscrewed. I don’t quite know how that would happen. I hope the dream weaver will give me an interesting dream tonight.

Very good news about my Azure Fallen diamond the fix I did in it has held up. I am glad I don’t have to buy a new dancing saber.

I also had a night last night of weird dreams. I can only remember bits and pieces of them. There was one piece that had to do with my saber and a wildfire. Hope everyone is doing well.

I just want to take a moment to remember those who lost their lives, homes, and business in the 2017 Wine County Wildfires. I always write something on the anniversary of this event. Also praying for those impacted by the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season going on right now. I believe that all of us here in this community should have at least one saber in their emergency supplies.

I have been ignoring my Azure Fallen diamond too much. When I went to use it last night the batteries were dead in it. I hope that is the only thing wrong with it.  While writing I see two emergency vehicles near where I am.  What luck. I don’t have my Azure Fallen diamond with me today. 

On the other hand I am getting frustrated with the dream weaver because I have not had a lightsaber dream in ages

I made a little progress with the dream weaver last night. I can almost remember my dream from last night. I do believe it had to do with one of my sabers.

Just had a nightmare about my sabers.  I can just grab a few scenes from it. I was trying to figure out how to pack three sabers and their blades in a small carry on size bag. I knew I couldn’t bring my 40 inch night blade. I was also struggling with my Crimson Dominicide in the dream. I was thinking I was going to have to wear that saber instead of the ones I wear in every day life in real life.

On the other hand I had the Insomnia Monster after me last night.

After two nights of nightmares I decided to dig out my v2 with night blade last night. Slept well with it.  I still find my Dominicide most comfortable at night but after two nights of nightmares I was frustrated with the dream weaver.

More frustrating dreams last night again. This time yet again I was going to what I thought was going to be the anime or medical convention but it turned out to be the wushu competition I used to compete in. I was first thinking that I should find The Great…but wrong event to find him at. I was then looking for my old best friend from the days I used to do wushu. Not happy with the dream weaver.

I am trying to get more comfortable with my Azure Fallen diamond for dancing since I have had so many breaks in it.  I feel like I am going to almost have to stop using it as my main dancing saber.

I would also like to report the Insomnia Monster has been mild to non existent in the household.

We also have a planned power outage today. Thankfully that doesn’t bother us Jedi.

I had a night full of nightmares last night. One had my saber in it. The other was a very scary medical dream.  I just figured out what that awful dream meant. Relationship and I have a doctors appointment tomorrow.

On the positive side of things is that no Insomnia Monster to speak of in the household.

Also a funny thing happened when my mom and I went grocery shopping. The cheese she liked for so many years suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a different one. Sounds like some pulled another Great on her. I felt the same way when Diamond boards were eventually replaced with ultraproffie.

Today is my Crimson Dominicide 2nd anniversary. Definitely my most comfortable sleep saber.  The Insomnia Monster has been quite in the household lately.

Just had a night of weird dreams. I can remember a scenes from them with my saber. I can barely grab them. One had to do with a disaster. The other one was I was at school and I was wearing my saber. Turns out that everyone in the class including teachers had sabers and something to do with music. Song Chasing CRs by Grey’s Anatomy Cast. We were listening to that song and everyone pulled out their saber. I was in shock. I felt like I finally fit in somewhere in class. By the end of the song I was in tears. Really wish I could remember more of my dreams.

The Insomnia Monster got me last night. I am still considering buying those sabers I mentioned in my previous entry. I will definitely need to buy more blades from The Great for them. I also need supplies for my other sabers.

I have been sick with a cold for the last few days. Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. When I feel better I will get back into the routine of using my right set up of sabers at night.

Still sick. Also have a headache. Had a nightmare. Will write more when I feel a bit better. I am putting together all the dreams I have had about wearing my saber to school. Makes me feel exhausted.

I am letting the Insomnia Monster have its free will with me since I been sick. I remembered my nightmare from last night right as I was about to go to sleep. It was the surgical dream and wanting my sabers after surgery. My two front teeth fell out in the dream.

In real life it has been quite a lot of nightmares the last few nights.

I got woken up by two emergency alerts this morning. Earthquakes one county from where I live.  Did not feeel anything where I live. I uaslly do not wear my Azure Fallen diamond anymore. But today I knew I should because of the disaster here in CA.

On the other hand I am still getting over the remnants of my cold.

Finally feeling better. I hope I have not spoken too soon about how I am feeling. I have been tied up with disasters ex. Earthquakes.

The Insomnia Monster tried my mother last night but failed. Since I have been sick I don’t care about the insomnia monster because I have been sleeping so much.

I finally am feeling all better from my cold.  Also my sabers just played a game of musical blades. They did that because I am trying a new setup with my v2 saber. That saber is going to try a 36in blade tonight. Will update states vitals if I decide to keep this setup.

Some other news in the sleep department. I am now just using plush sabers and my larp aka foam swords at night.  I still do wear a saber every time I go out of my house. Would feel not probably dressed without one. Like in my dreams. 

I did decide when I do get another saber I definitely will buy it from The Great. I will definitely be a stunt setup. I have found that I do not need anymore sound sabers. They are just not practical for everyday use.

It finally happened I got caught wearing my saber at school. I got in trouble. I was also feeling very embarrassed and depressed. I was called to her office and then she told me to take any and all my Star Wars related clothes off. I had two Star Wars shirts on along with my Azure Fallen diamond. In real life that saber’s soundboard is un replaceable. Thankfully that day I only had that one saber on me. I usually had two other sabers in my bag. (The two non US sabers.)  I then told her if she wanted me to get undressed I needed clothes to put on. We were trying to find a shirt my size. Thankfully I wake up before I had to do so. I actually was going to surrender my saber and clothes in the dream.

I just realized that the medical convention I talk about in this journal is only 10 days away.  Thank goodness that I am not writing the play for the convention. I will be attending the medical convention in sprit. Otherwise my relationship would be even more a mess then it has become since joining this group.

I am getting very frustrated and tired with the Dream Weaver because I have been having my reoccurring dreams about my teacher and wearing my saber to school. Will probably post the dreams here soon.

I want to take a moment to think of those who have been affected by the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires.
Also very thankful that the medical convention is in FL this year not Southern CA.

I also have been making progress with the dream weaver. A few dream pieces I can remember from the last few nights were being at the right conventions with the right people. Thankfully the Anime convention I was looking to hopefully find The Great. At the medical convention I was signing up for classes I was going to take.

I lost track of time because the medical convention started a day earlier this year. I am there in sprit. So I won’t be writing here except if I have any substantial dreams or disasters. My hearts are with the people of Los Angeles wildfires and healthcare workers this week.

Medical convention is over now.

A few days ago I had two people comment on my saber I wear. I ended up taking to one of them about sabers. I kind of wanted to avoid anything with sabers while I was celebrating the medical convention.

Thankfully I didn’t have any dreams that I needed to write here. When it comes to disasters up here in Northern CA we are safe but Southern CA is a whole other story. FYI I am in Northern CA.

Looks like The Great will be attending a convention at the same location that the medical convention (Orlando FL) just happened this year. Looks like another venue for my play. I still prefer San Diego or SeaTac area.   I also saw in the news that SDCC will be staying in San Diego for the next few years.

The Insomnia Monster bit last night. I have been using only plush sabers at night because it is so darn cold.  I did try my v2 with night blade a little last night. As you know some of the plush sabers do have real blades in them. So I feel like I can cheat a bit with not ex using a “real” saber at night.

The dream weaver has given me some lightsaber dreams. One was I was at Trader Joe’s and there was a power outage. I had just picked up a bag of lettuce and was about to get the coffee beans when all of a sudden everything went dark.  Thankfully I had my non US saber on me at that time. My saber was the only light in the whole store.

Last nite the Insomnia Monster had me. I also had a visit from the dream weaver too. It was another version of the dream with my teacher and getting caught and being in trouble this time with two sabers.

Nightmare last night. It was a new take on an old dream. In my dream this time I was going to let someone repair some inner components in my Azure Fallen diamond. Was trying to find the manual for the diamond board. In the end my saber turned into my medical simulator doll.  Also trying to grab another frame of the dream. Something to do with an embarrassing school project about sleep. Wish I could remember more.

I cannot believe that there was another major airline crash in Canada. What the h€!! is going on in aviation. What’s with all the disasters?  Thankfully no deaths yet in the plane crash. My heart is with all those affected by this disaster. You know what I would have done in this disaster situation. I would be leading people away from the plane to the light of my saber. Like in my dreams.

I finally made some progress with the dream weaver. In my dream it was another version of the dreams with my teacher and my sabers. This time I had two sabers with me. I can remember one was my v2 with night blade. I was going to my therapist at school. I had the sabers with me. I run into the principal who in real life worked at the same school as the teacher and therapist in this dream. I was very embarrassed and hoped she didn’t see my sabers.  Other students and I were going to do a performance with our sabers for the school talent show.  Can’t remember much more of the dream but it dose remind me of something very similar I did in real life.

Update on sleep. I been trying different sabers at night. I almost gotten rid of the Insomnia Monster. I am going to go back to my v2 with night blade. Will update my stats here accordingly.

I paid a bit more attention to my relationship last night and also used my v2 with night blade last night. Not an insomnia Monster in site. Very proud of myself.

I was reading some in my honest opinion very rude comments on a review video for US pixel blades and soundboards. People are comparing The Great to Elon Musk. So rude. I feel so sorry for The Great. I don’t know why people have to be so rude. I just might be the odd one out in the saber community. But I will always be a very loyal US fan. I owe my nights to The Great. FYI to new readers when I write The Great I am referring to the owner here Emory.

The anime convention I really want to go to and that is the setting for my play is happening right now.  The convention is ECCC. I hope everyone is a a good time there. I hope I can attend sometime in my life.

I updated my stats (vitals) here on my signature. I put the V2 with night blade back in first place as a sleep saber. When it comes to using full on real sabers at night the v2 is number 1. I still mostly use plush sabers at night.

Dream 3/12/25

This time at summer camp it was again with my saber and the teacher in my previous dreams.  Thankfully she understood and let me wear my saber. I can almost grab more pieces of it.

Also before I went to sleep I told myself I wanted the dream weaver to weave me a lightsaber dream. I didn’t care if it was a nightmare.

In real life I actually had the dream two other times because I thought I wad telling my family members my dream. At least this one wasn’t a nightmare like the other time I had a dream going in three times in one night. That dream was a medical one with a MRI.

Finally had The Great in my dream. What I can remember of this dream was The Great and I were taking about my play and he was doing some repairs on my Azure Fallen diamond. The dream also turned into somewhat of a medical convention related one. I am very thankful to have had a dream about The Great.

A follow up from my last dream with The Great. My Azure Fallen diamond got fixed in the previous dream. Was having problems with it. When changing fonts it was back to the original version on the board. When changing fonts all the saber did was squeak and squak. I thought I would have to contact The Great about the problems. Turned out I just needed to charge the battery

I am very happy to have had these dreams about The Great.

Dream

Back at the convention that I believed was the right one hoping to find The Great. Turns out that that convention was on its last day and the medical convention was starting next. I was sad not to see The Great. I knew his company was at the convention before the medical convention.

In real life I am trying to find convention footage of The Great.  Seams like all the saber footage is centered around another company. Makes me very mad.

Major saber disaster incoming!  I know it is a combination of age and dropping the saber many times.

Yesterday it finally happened. All of the breaks have added up to the point there is actually no more sound in my Azure Fallen diamond. I don’t know yet if it is a speaker issue or a board issue. I did the first thing people say to do was charging the battery. That didn’t fix the problem. I will run more tests on the saber to see where the problem is coming from. Not to mention all the other problems this saber has. Looks like my dancing days are over for now. I am going to have to use my backup dancing saber now.

I am going to start a new thread here about this new round of problems with this saber soon.

It is definitely not the board because everything except the sound works perfectly. I can hear a buzzing sound when the saber is on. I am very thankful that I only use sound in my saber for dancing and socializing.

Why do I feel like my nightmares are coming true with my saber? I am going to probably have to get the saber fixed. If I do I only would want The Great himself to fix it. I am very nervous about anyone touching my Azure Fallen diamond.

I updated my stats vitals here to reflect what is happening with my Azure Fallen diamond. I am still deciding on what to do about all the breaks. I wish I could get a new hilt but have the soundboard transplanted into another saber. I kind of forgot how many breaks my Azure Fallen diamond has.

Continuing on from my last journal entry I am  still probably in shock about my Azure Fallen diamond. I feel like my vanity has disappeared especially during dancing and disasters. Not to mention the deadly earthquake in Asia. My heart goes out to all affected by the disaster.

I know I am going to have to do something about my saber disaster soon.  I am probably going to buy another saber from The Great. I would like to know how I would go about getting the soundboard I have transplanted into another saber of the same type. As I mentioned in my last entry here I believe the hilt I have right now has too many structural problems with it to be worth having it fixed. When I do get a new saber I am definitely buying another 40 in night blade.

I remembered a dream piece from last night. In my dream the repairs to my Azure Fallen diamond by The Great in previous dreams did not work and the saber does nothing completely dead.

Thankfully that was just a dream.

In real life I am still exploring what to do about my saber disaster. I am very discouraged and frustrated about soundboards. I totally agree with Emory The Great about gestures being bread and butter of the Diamond board. Especially for a dancer like me. Also the stab and spin effects on the diamond saber are things I have not found anywhere else on any other brands of lightsaber soundboards. Too bad that the obsv3;4 soundboards don’t have those features.

Again, you can email to send it in for repair. "no vote confidence" "catastrophe failure" are a bit extreme when you will not email to send the saber in to be looked at.

I will take your advice into consideration. I really just want to have two sabers the one I have now and another one with the board I have all really in a different  hilt.

I have made peace with myself about my broken saber. When the final break happened I was already under a lot of stress due to events in my like that coincide with the nightmares I have about wearing my saber to school and my old teacher or at day program. The good news is a boy the day program I probably be attending I can wear my saber to. What a relief.   I did try dancing again with my back up dancing saber with smooth swing.  I managed to find a font that worked well enough to feel like I can get back into dancing.

I am watching two used saber online. One is a diamond US saber that other is by the other company’s saber use.   You won’t believe your ears in what I am probably going to buy. The saber actually has a Proffie pixel blade and board!  I did watch a video on what fonts it has. Their are the ones I mentioned before about the non US saber stunt saber I own.

Dream I was showing off my Azure Fallen diamond and at first the sound was not working like in real life. All of a sudden when I did check the sound again it was like did I just hear something from the saber?! It got louder and louder until the sound was back to normal.  Sadly that was just a dream.

I decided not to buy the proffie pixel saber and I am going to to stay with US and The Great. I realized that proffie is too fancy for me. I don’t need all those blade styles. Not even for my play. Also not to mention that I would have to carry two different blades for base lit and pixel saber if I went proffie.  At least I made peace with myself about my broken diamond saber.

Dream

Yet again the nightmare about wearing my saber to school. This time it ended very badly. I got kicked out of school.

In real life I had a feeling that I would be having to deal with a dream like the one I had because I am having to deal with medical related stuff in regards to the day program I will be attending. Will write more later.

Journal 4/11/25 pt 2

I did buy another diamond saber. I also keep forgetting to mention two aviation disasters with in the past day or so.  The saber I bought is actually one I owned in a dream. It is the Archon 2.1 diamond. A few reasons I decided to buy it one it is the same saber The Great uses in his videos about diamond sabers. Also it is a classic in the Star Wars galaxy. Everyone should have a Luke/ Obi Wan saber. I also believe that everyone should have a double sided saber. Will update my stats vitals when I know the sabers exact stats because I don’t have a picture of the soundboard. Hopefully the new saber will become my new dancing saber. After I get the new saber I may sent my Azure Fallen diamond in for surgery.

I remembered a piece of my dream from last night. I was in the school talent show and I got into trouble. I couldn’t make up my mind on what dance to do. It was also kind of a mix of the wushu competition.

In real life I would really prefer to go to the anime convention especially if I was going to see The Great or have my disaster dream.

Just got the new saber today. Even better then what I expected. Came with three extra blades one extra emitter and both styles of pommel.  The only thing it doesn’t have is diamond pulse mode turned on on any fonts. Also has recharge port and charger.  Will update my stats vitals here.  Kind of need to figure out what to put in its stats.  Thankfully my dancing days are back. I did try my smooth swing saber last night while listening to music. Did not work at all for dancing.

Also my Aeon v5 le has a full on 36 inch night blade now.

Journal 4/17/25

I tried my newest saber at night and for dancing with in the first day of owning it.  Sleeping went very well. No Insomnia Monster. Dancing was better then any of my saber I own and are what the moment. I still need to re arrange the setting on it and put a font on it and if possible my disaster font and colors. I know I can do both but I know there’s an easy way and a hard way to do so. Also need to check the sensitivity on the new saber because it doesn’t react like my other diamond saber. I am going to update my stats vitals here now.

Dream
Finally my teacher let anyone buy sabers from The Great and have them in class for a day. I was jealous of what the other students got. I really didn’t need to be jealous because I had diamond boards in my sabers.

In real life I shared my nightmares about getting into trouble at school or day program because of my sabers. She is starting to understand why I don’t want to go to the day program. Also in real life people know my because i wear a mask and a saber every day. Darn Covid messed with my immune system and I am way more sensitive to vaccines. That is why I prefer to wear the mask then suffer from the side effects of the vaccines.  I find my appearance my trademark look.

One week review of my newest saber the Archon v2.1 diamond with recharge port and illuminated switch. The good is that it is a diamond. I am very thankful to have found one. The bad is the battery setup with illuminated switch and recharge port drain the battery very fast. Second time today in a week went to turn it on and the battery is dead. Very frustrating. Definitely I would consider the saber unreliable as a disaster saber. So I an in a pickle about what saber I would use in a disaster. I kind of like having sound effects during a disaster. Thankfully I have my non US saber that I use as my backup dancing saber for disasters at the ready.

My newest saber the Archonv2.1 I finally figured out the battery life for it. It seams like every two days I need to charge the battery. Quite ridiculous. Definitely not to be used a a disaster saber.

I did have a fun time chatting about sabers to a person who works in disaster preparedness and response. They thought it was cool.

I did try some more dancing with my Archon v2.1 yesterday. I got it to behave better.  I feel as if I have come to terms with my Azure Fallen diamond saber disaster.  I haven’t had if at all any saber related dreams for awhile. I know that is because i am having to do with lots of med related stuff this week. To bad it doesn’t have anything to do with healthcare simulation. I am so missing my disaster dreams and seeing The Great in them.

Happy Star Wars day. To celebrate I used my Dominicide last night. I have been taking sleep for granted again.
I also went dancing with my newest saber today.  Hopefully the dream weaver gives me a dream about The Great soon.

Journal 5/6/25

Tomorrow is the dreaded doctor appointment. I am planning on taking on the dream weaver in real life by bringing the sabers mentioned in the dream above with me. I will wear my Azure Fallen diamond and bring my Aeon v5 le and my v2 sleep saber with me. Too bad I am to embarrassed to bring my 40 inch night blade with me. If I was going to my dentist I would bring my night blade with me because she only has one patient at a time in here office so I don’t feel embarrassed and centered out.

I dealt with the dream weaver and the doctor today.  My plan worked very well and I was not terrified or feeling like crap today. My stats vitals look way better then my sabers.

I out smarted the dream weaver by using as many sabers last night as I could. I used my Dominicide, v2 with night blade, Aeon v5 le, and a few spare blades last night. Thankfully no visits from the dream weaver. 

I also told myself that my nightmares were just nightmares and not to be scared or doctors. Also not to be embarrassed about my sabers.

The Insomnia Monster bit last night.

Since I last wrote I did have one dream I can remember that had to do with my sabers and dancing.

I have come up with a nickname for my Archon2.1 diamond “The must unreliable saber for disasters” because every two days I need to change it.

I also went dancing today. I had problems navigating my Azure Fallen diamond since I have no sound in it now. The only way I knew were I was was by my disaster font. I have multiple fonts on it with similar colors. I was also dancing in the bright sunshine today.

Journal and dream 5/14/25

Finally had the convention dream. I was at what I thought was the medical convention. I had most of my US sabers with me. I was having a major saber disaster because three of them were broken. I was having a frantic time trying to get help with my sabers not sure if it was here on my journal or a live chat. I managed to get am emergency appointment for the sabers at the convention. The appointment was for 10 pm that night. I was hoping the person I was going to meet up with would help me get in touch with Emory The Great to get the surgery my sabers needed. The dream then turned into something to do with my medical simulator doll and the previous years convention.

In real life I am so grateful to have had this dream. Been waiting forever to have a dream like this.

I can almost grasp my dream. It had something to do with all of the different venues my dreams take place in.  Also The Great was in it.

In real life I recently had more trouble with my sabers. I am finding with my newest saber the Archon2.1 diamond even more uncomfortable for socializing and dancing. The recharge port is driving me nuts literally. The nut in the port is uncomfortable in the hands. As I mentioned before battery life is drained within two days. Also the covertec wheel gets in the way while adjusting the volume on the saber. I know I can mess around with the settings on the diamond board to make it more responsive.

Dream

I was coming home from school or day program. I had missed the bus and also got a bit lost. I had three bags with me. I think I had sabers in them. Outside of Whole Foods I found a bus. At some point someone from the bus company stole one of my bags. Thankfully that bag had only one valuable in it. Thankfully my sabers were safe.

I am frustrated with the dream weaver because I have not had a lightsaber dream in ages. My dreams all have been mostly medical related ones. The good news is that my one of my best friends is now back on the medical website I have mentioned in this journal. Must be what the dreams were about.

Dream

I was in class and I was not expecting to have my therapy session that day because since the start of the school year the therapist never showed up. I was wearing one of my sabers and had another one in my bag along with my standard 24 inch blade. My therapist showed up and I was a little nervous about her seeing me with my sabers. I was thinking I should dance for her during the session.

Haven’t remembered much in the way of dreams this past week.  Maybe because I am doing a different morning routine. I am practicing for when I have to get up and go to day program. Thankfully I have many months to practice. Also been wearing my non US saber more now since it is summer weather here in Northern California.

Over the weekend I somehow missed a big disaster preparedness event. It would have been fun to go in costume. At least I have been to a few before. I did go in costume one year and like only a few people commented on my costume.

It was more of a setting on my Azure Fallen diamond and my disaster hood. I sill one day get a wildland firefighter shirt and pants to complete the look..

I have been using real sabers this past few nights. I recently used my crimson Dominicide and last night I somehow used my v2 with night blade last night. The Insomnia Monster has been leaving me alone. Last night I told myself I wanted to have a lightsaber dream. I managed to remember a piece of my dream that had to do with my Azure Fallen diamond.

The last two nights I have remembered just a few pieces of my dreams. I like that the dream weaver is being nicer to me. I am hopeful that I will be able to remember more of my dreams.

I can’t believe it another major airplane crash in India today. With all those airline crashes I now am skeptical about traveling to a convention in real life. I still do want to meet The Great in real life. My heart is with all of the friends and families of those who have died today in that crash.

Journal and dream 6/13/25

Just had an amazing dream about The Great.  I was at the anime convention and what I thought was the end of the convention after not looking for Ultrasabers at the convention. Someone threw a 40 inch night blade at me. Realizing that it was someone from Ultrasabers I then try to find The Great. I don’t see him at first so I ask someone there if he is around. I do find him. We end up talking for at least an hour. I do ask him to fix my Azure Fallen diamond. I somehow had all of my main US sabers with me. He did try to sell me on the Ultraproffie board. I told him it would not work for my play and disaster font. He did get it and was willing to get the proper soundboard for me. We also talked about sleep. He was surprised when I told him how long I have been wearing a saber every day. I told him how I could get away with it. Like in a previous dream my saber to some would just me the humble flashlight.

In real life I was looking for The Great in some convention footage. Too bad that all of the saber footage is centered on other saber companies.

I woke up to a very weird lightsaber dream this morning. Can’t remember much of it. All I know was it had to do with my sabers.

In real life I am going to be celebrating my three year anniversary here in a few days. Will probably update my reviews of my sabers when they reach their birthdays.

You wouldn’t believe what I found this morning when I went to charge the battery in my Azure Fallen diamond. I found the broken wire in it. What a interesting surprise for my third anniversary of being here. I will take pictures of it and when I do the Azure Fallen diamond update review in a month or so I will post the list and pictures of all of its problems.

At summer camp I had like in a previous dream I was wearing my non US saber that my teacher okayed at first. I had gotten away with wearing it for the first few days. Turns out like in the other versions of the dream my teachers change their minds about the saber. I ended up getting kicked out of camp.

My Aeon v5 le is three years old today.

I will list its full stats here

Aeon v5 le lite sound still crashing because I broke the speaker early on of me owning it. Now with sentinel v5 pommel and 36in heavy grade night blade. It also has a broken claw.

Overall a nice saber to start out with.

Turns out when I got dressed this morning I wore the same shirt I wore when I got the saber.

I have an Aeon my self, and it is 7 years old.  Stil works and still can be used to kick butt XP

The Insomnia Monster bit last night.

I can also remember a piece of my dream. I was not expecting to find an opportunity for dancing. I did not have any diamond sabers on me. I did have my non US dancing saber with me. I went to put a blade in it. Turns out the blade was broken. So I couldn’t dance. I was thinking I now am down two 24 inch blades. In real life my original blade I got with my Aeon v5 le is broken. I have mentioned it in a previous journal entry.

I have not much luck with the dream weaver the last week or so. Makes me sad. I did use a real saber last night and kind of forgot how comfortable it was.  Maybe the dream weaver is not paying much attention to me because I am not using any of my sound sabers recently.

I have b remembering only a few pieces of my dreams the last few days. I have been trying to trigger the dream weaver into giving me something to wr about in my journal.

When I woke up this morning I thought i didn’t make any progress with the dream weaver… Turns out I actually did remember my dream from last night. Here is the dream. I was in school with the same teachers as in my previous dreams. I was wearing my summer time non US saber the one that had mixed reactions in previous dreams. I also had my v2 with I can’t remember if it was a 32,36 or even my 40 inch night blade. I was embarrassed because I thought I had my usual 24 inch one. Thankfully I didn’t get into any trouble in this version of this dream. It seams that people were just ignoring the sabers.

I can remember my dream from last night. I have had similar ones before. It was the convention one. What I thought was the anime convention where I was expecting to find The Great turned out to be the medical convention.

In real life it is SDCC this week. Definitely have no interest in it because The Great doesn’t attend it and my setting for my sound font play is in SeaTac area.

FYI the forum was down the last few days and I lost a journal entry. At least it wasn’t a very important one.

First problem stuck retention screw as of 5/5/24. Did find an alternative way to keep the blade or blade plug in.

And finally complete failure of the speaker as of 3/24/25. When the final break happened my vanity was shot and I fell into a depression. I know it was from dropping the saber many times and wearing it most days at that time.

I thankfully recovered from the bout of depression

I have stopped wearing it every day lately. I am being very careful with it.

Dream 7/30/25 and journal

Another version of these nightmares. This time it was during the part of the day program at the local JC. This time I had been wearing the saber I have been sometimes allowed to wear in other versions of this dream. I was summoned to the upper level administration office. I thought it was to get a photo ID. I found the person I was going to be meeting with. I was asked if I had ever committed a crime. I said no but then realized maybe yes because of my saber I was wearing. Sure thing I was in trouble about the saber. The person I was meeting with then tried to break the saber but only somewhat managed to damage it. Thankfully it was not my Azure Fallen diamond.  I then tried to play some tricks related to my disability to prove why I had the saber. I then was trying to write about what happened in my journal here but was having technical difficulties.

In real life I was excited about having such a strange time with the dream weaver.  I had been hoping for a dream like that for awhile.

Also in the disaster news there was a 8.8 earthquake triggering a wide tsunami alert

Made a little process with the dream weaver the last few days. I have been trying to trigger the dream weaver to give me a dream about The Great by watching some of his videos about US.

The Insomnia Monster had me a bit last night.

Maybe why I am not having lightsaber dreams is that I have tied up with healthcare and aviation disasters.

I made progress with the dream weaver. In my dream last night I was wearing my Azure Fallen diamond and it fell of my belt. In real life I not wear that saber very much because of how fragile it is.

A new take on an old dream. This time the teacher who was mean to me about my sabers actually bought me two grab bag or mystery box sabers. We were talking about what saber I was hoping for. I was interested in The Third Sister LE.

Tomorrow is the dreaded appointment. I am planning on doing the same thing I did when I had to deal with the doctor’s appointment when it comes to what sabers I use tonight. Hopefully I can outsmart the dream weaver and the Insomnia Monster tonight.

I will be wearing my Archon v2.1 tomorrow because of what happened in regards to my Azure Fallen diamond disaster. I may dance tomorrow but will probably be to scarred.

Turns out I do not have to to to the appointment because the case manager is sick. I slept well last night. Thankfully I was only starting to have a dream before I got up.

On another note my heart is with all those who have died over the last few day in international natural disasters.

I did one of those embarrassing things today. I accidentally went out without my saber. My vanity! Thankfully I was not too farm from home when I realized it.

Turns out I do have to do the medical appointment next week. Not happy about that.

I kind of forgot about my journal the last few days. Oops. Maybe it is because I am dealing with medical related stuff. I will be buying stuff for my costume this week after I deal with the big scary medical appointment.

I dealt with the medical appointment today. Turns out I am going to have to do them every three months. On the positive note I figured out why I am so scared of the appointments. It is because of prior trauma and ptsd. I did share about my sabers and my nightmares with the new case manager. Thankfully she understood.  Hopefully the dream weaver will leave me alone today and tonight. At least I am not feeling as bad as I expected to be feeling

I would like to take a moment of silence to remember all those lives lost and all first responders on 9/11/2001. As someone who in into disasters and healthcare how could I forget to mention this disaster before. Maybe because I was only 6 years old at the time.

It is Health Care Simulation Week. It would like to take a moment to thank all those in healthcare even though I and so many other have so much trauma in the department.

I finally got the dream weaver to behave. In real life today is the first day of early registration for next year’s medical convention.

In my dream it was the medical convention and I was looking for The Great at it.

Yesterday I did something that reminded me of my common dream in real life. I was eating at another branch of a restaurant that was the same food as I ate at the medical convention in San Deigo. I was wearing Star Wars clothes and my saber. I was pretending I had just got out of the medical convention but realized my clothes were not what I would have worn to the medical convention. In my dream it is looking for the wrong people at the convention wrong convention.

Last night I somehow watched a video about programming another brand of lightsaber soundboard. It made the dream weaver give me a dream about The Great. Also in real life I was looking into what soundboards US is offering and was surprised by what I found. Looks like someone pulled another Emory The Great on US again. What has happened to the obs v3 and lite versions of the soundboard!? Very frustrating to me. Definitely something to trigger the dream weaver. Also the Insomnia Monster bit last night.

Just remembered my dream. I finally had the disaster dream. There was a structural fire and I knew it was time to get into costume. What I thought was my disaster costume turned into a combination of other costumes I have made.

The Insomnia Monster has been bothering me lately.

I also just did one of those clumsy things. I had my saber fall off my belt. Thank no damage.  Also I have not been wearing any of my US sabers because they are too fragile and unreliable. I will only wear them on special occasions.

Looks like NY is having some near disasters today. A partial building collapse and a airliner mishap. Thankfully both had no injuries or deaths.

On the positive side here in Northern CA it has been raining so fire season is minimal now.

Also last night I got to sleep without the Insomnia Monster.

Breaking news Medical helicopter crash in CA today 3 major injuries reported.  I knew something like this would be happening because of the state the government is in. I believe that the USA government should be in a federal stare on emergency.

Also I have been remembering a few prices of my dreams. I know they were about my wearing my saber and possibly getting into trouble.

Yesterday yet another helicopter crash in CA with 5 injured. Update on the other medical helicopter crash sadly one has died.

On another note I am trying to find good footage of US and if possible The Great at NYCC.  I believe the best footage of The Great at NYCC was in a dream I had where I was taking to The Great about what I use sabers for. I will post that dream later when I find it

Haven’t been able to write because this site is so unstable with technology problems.

I did find the dream I mentioned in my last journal entry here. Here is the dream. Dream 10/8/22

Last night I had a strange dream about insomnia and lightsabers. The only part I remember was that Emory the Great said “Do normal people do that?” That was in reference to me sleeping with my lightsabers. I woke up as soon as he said that in my dream thinking “Talk about rude.” I think Emory the Great was mad at me in my dream. Made me feel sad in my dream.

I hate it when I hear or read nasty, rude, or mean things about Emory Deep Harris. Makes me vey mad and sad because it hurts my feelings. To me he is my hero. After 15 years of insomnia how could I not call him “The Great.”

Also on the disaster side of things more aviation disasters resulting in deaths have occurred sine I wrote last.

Journal 10/18/25

Looks like another saber crashing. Now it is the Archon v2.1 diamond has died. Thankfully I don’t use it very much. I can tell that I probably fried the board. I left the recharge port plugged in overnight. I didn’t think that would be a problem because The Great said you could without damage to the saber. I have tried the batteries from that saber in my other diamond saber and they work. So I guess that means it is the board. I tried it without batteries only using the recharge port and nothing happened. Right before the saber died I couldn’t change the font on it or adjust the volume on it.
At least I still have my vanity and not feeling as if I am having a major saber disaster. Just a bit frustrated with technology
For now on I really just stay with stunt sabers. I must have very bad luck with sound sabers.

I got the dream weaver to behave. I managed to trigger the dream weaver into giving me a dream about The Great. I did it by watching his video introducing diamond boards. In my dream The Great decided to bring back diamond boards. That made me very happy in the dream because I could then fix my broken sabers in real life in my dream.

In real life I am yet again discouraged about lightsaber soundboards. Since what happened to my Archon v2.1 diamond I am now without a proper working diamond saber. Thankfully I only use them on special occasions. I could ramble a lot more on this topic but I have already done it before in other posts in this journal. I will also update my stats vitals here.

Journal 10/21/25

I feel as I should ramble more about soundboards because I am sad and frustrated with my sound sabers. I do feel jinxed with my luck with sound sabers. What I love about Emory The Great and when we had diamond boards was some of the features I have not heard or seen anywhere else. Those would be the gestures and the way you do the force effects on the saber. Also not having smooth swing is what sold me on US in the first place. I like having dedicated effects with there movements especially for dancing. Not having to press a button every time you want a certain sound is also what stands out for me. With other soundboards I cannot understand the difference between I don’t know if it is a swing, clash, or something else rather then a blister. I do actually own a non US sound saber with smooth swing. It is my emergency backup dancing saber. I just love my diamond sabers. I am very thankful that I found the second one even if it is now broken. That saber is the Archon v2.1. It is uncomfortable for dancing because of the recharge port. Also it never responded like my Azure Fallen diamond. I know I could have gone into the software and changed the settings in the diamond saber. That probably would have been a headache to do so. I would have put the font I managed to put on my Azure Fallen diamond on it along with my disaster colors on my disaster font. I know that there would be an easy way and a hard way to do so. Just feels so good to ramble.

I also started a new thread here about my Archon v2.1’s problems. I also updated it’s stats vitals here.

I am gong to pay some more attention to my Azure Fallen diamond today and wear it.

The Insomnia Monster had me in the middle of the night last night.

Back to some rambling about technology and lightsaber soundboards again.

I am so fed up with technology because it seams to only a very few companies that make stunt sabers. There are other models by other companies besides US that makes models I like but they all have soundboards. Knowing me I have such bad luck with sound sabers. Just look at my stats vitals here and you will see three sound sabers not properly working. They are the Aeon v5 le lite sound,Azure Fallen diamond and Archon v2.1 diamond. To tell you the truth all of my stunt sabers work perfectly. I know part of my bad luck with sound sabers is because of how rough I am on them. Example I wear one every day and in my dreams. Another reason why sound sabers especially pixel sabers are not my friends is that my sound sabers hardly ever wear blades. The diamond sabers to be exact. The Aeon v5 le and the crimson Dominicide do wear blades because those are night time sabers. The diamond sabers are daytime and dancing sabers. Any set up could be used for disaster.

Dream

Yet another version of my wearing my saber to school and getting into trouble. Trying not to fall asleep while writing this journal entry. In my dream it was a jumble of medical related stuff and my saber.  The main part of my dream I can remember is that I was in school and their was a class that contained lightsaber dueling. I was prepared because I was wearing my saber. Wish I could remember more of this dream. Will write more later.

In real life I know why the nightmares have started again. It is that three times a year medical appointment time again.

Two year anniversary for my Crimson Dominicide BR lite sound is today. When it comes to properly working U.s sound sabers it is the only one that fully functioning.

Yesterday the dream weaver was very mean to be about the medical appointment and gave me a combination of multiple nightmares about wearing my saber to school. I also had a migraine on top of it.
At least I knew what the dream was about.

Today I fell better and had a proper night sleep. My mother on the other hand had the insomnia monster after her.

This year for Thanksgiving my family is having anyone who wants to do a performance such as a song, a piece of writing, a poem, or a like is very welcome to do so at the party. I will be dancing this year but sadly do not have a fully functioning diamond saber to do so. I will be using my backup dancing saber.

Dream 11/26/25

Finally I had The Great in my dream. It was yet again the convention dream too. It was also a combination of many other similar dreams I have had about The Great. Like in previous dreams i waited until the end of the convention before I tried to get my diamond sabers fixed. Again The Great tried to sell me on both of his new soundboards. Very frustrating. That is why in real life i coined the term “pulling a Great” as in reference to when someone discontinues a product to only replace it with something similar but that they say is better. Sometimes you just want the old original product. I ended up not getting the sabers fixed or replaced. Quite frustrating dream.

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. I did dance at the Thanksgiving party but felt not very with it in regards to what sound sabers I have that fully work. I could ramble more about soundboards but I need to try to get some more sleep.

Had a migraine and the Insomnia Monster attack me. Also tried to write yesterday but the website crashed and I lost my entry.

I also wanted to mention from my lost entry is that my heart is with all those who have been injured or killed in national and international disasters. Example Hong Kong fire mass shooting in CA. Major fires in NY.

Dream

Airplane crash and I was leading people away from the disaster. I had my orange v2 saber with me. I was putting on my costume while running away from the disaster. The crash lead to a small brush fire. I ended up seeing myself on the news footage leading people away from the disaster.

Otherwise in real life I am very frustrated with this website because I had written a nice response to another member on their introduction thread and the page crashed and I lost the post.

While changing the bed linens today my crimson Dominicide decided to rip mu blanket. Those claws sure can be mean at times.

Recently while buying toothpaste it reminded me of The Great and soundboards. Never can get exactly what you had before.

Been struggling with this website. Did have the convention dream recently. In that dream I was looking for The Great at the medical convention. I hope I can get back into journaling regularly if this website behaves. Miss you all.

I again will be dancing for our Holiday party this year without a working diamond saber. Only on special occasions I am tempted to get a saber with sound. Otherwise I feel very discouraged that every other non US saber I am interested in doesn’t come in stunt set up. On the other side of things when I do want sound in my saber almost everything has gone pixel and smooth swing. Dancing will never be the same for me anymore since there are no more diamond boards because someone pulled a Emory The Great on us. I am not mad at The Great himself. Also since all my diamond sabers are not working properly.  How discouraging.

I decided not to dance at the holiday party because I was the one doing the cooking and was on my feet for hours. I also over ate and felt sick afterwards. Hope everyone had a happy Holidays. I did wear my Azure Fallen diamond for dress up occasions but not for every day carry.

Looks like my nightmare is going to be happening soon. I am most probably going to have to go to the day program I mentioned many times in this journal. I am very embarrassed about what happened to me when I visited the program while having my worst saber disaster ever and feeling like I lost my vanity. Also the people at the program traumatized me because it reminds me so much of those what once was but now four times a year medical appointments. I am totally expecting nightmares tonight. I won’t be to mad at the dream weaver because I will understand why I had them.

Also I am considering buying a pixel saber. What a weird coincidence about timing. Also feeling jinxed because January is the month of the big medical convention I would love to go to in real life. Alway seams to happen in January when I have bad things happen to me.

Happy New Year.

I am really wanting to do something pretty drastic about my non working sound sabers very soon. If I do go to the day program I would really like to have a proper dancing sound saber. That way I could socialize better with people. Every time I go to look at what soundboards are available from US and other saber brands I just end up feeling discouraged and frustrated. All I want are just a few sound fonts that US diamond sabers have with all of their parts of the code. Ex. Non smooth swing, stab, spin effects. Gestures part of the font would be a feature I would definitely keep. Very helpful for a dancer. Most other sound boards now use gestures to control the saber not like with diamond sabers they enhance the font and my dancing experience. Why do I ramble so much about this topic? My vanity perhaps. So frustrating.

Journal 1/3/26

The dream weaver was very nice to me last night. In my dream I had gotten two new sabers from The Great. I can’t remember what custom one I bought but I also got a free mystery box saber that turned out to be a Grand Master LE stunt. I was very proud of the dream weaver because both of the sabers I got their stats vitals were proper and they both were fully functional. Thankfully I didn’t have to do with pixel or proffie sabers.

In real life I am thankful to have a very good dream because I have been expecting nightmares because I have to deal with the day program and face my worst living nightmares. When I do got to visit the day program this week I don’t know what to wear or what saber I should wear. I don’t want to wear the one that caused me to feel like I lost my vanity (Azure Fallen diamond). I don’t want to wear my every day saber because I don’t want to get mad and depressed and stop liking that saber.  I really want to wear my Archon v2.1 diamond because that is the saber I bought for day program. The only problem is that the saber doesn’t work. I may mess around with it some more to see what may be wrong with it. Now back to feeling discouraged about not having a fully functioning diamond saber.

Breaking news! More then a major saber disaster. I actually lost my main everyday saber today. Thankfully it has given me the opportunity to buy a few other sabers I have been eyeing. I am probably am gong to have to go pixel for one of them. I fell sick as a dog right now. Even worse my vanity is shot. I don’t know to do in the moment. I believe the dream weaver was telling me something a few nights ago when I got new sabers in my dream. Will probably write more when I decide what to do.

Well I did it and went for the pixel saber. Probably will buy another from The Great.

Well I did buy the pixel saber I had been eyeing since this whole round of day program mess. Not to mention my saber disaster I had today. I do no know exactly what the stats vitals are on the new saber. It is not an US saber. I probably bought without knowing it what looks like a probably a neo proffie saber. If it turns out to be I should stop rambling about proffie boards. Still really miss my US diamond sabers. I feel jinxed today and I also have a headache.

Looks like I will be getting my new saber during the time I am celebrating the yearly medical convention (IMSH). I try no to do much in regards to sabers during the convention dates.

Good news is that the dream weaver left me alone last night. Very thankful.

To my journal I would like to apologize for so much rambling about soundboards especially since what I decided to do in regards to my newest saber. I kind of wish I went first with The Great and one of his sabers. Definitely wouldn’t buy one with sound.

Back to the newest saber, I am going to have to learn a whole new blade setup and soundboard. I hopefully won’t regret doing so.

I really want to go to the medical convention this year because I didn’t go last year and I am feeling so sh*ty now because of the day program and my newest saber disaster. The medical convention is in San Antonio TX this year. Dates 1/10-10/14. Will be getting my new saber during that time. I did have a nightmare this morning. Thankfully I don’t think it had anything to do with sabers. That would have put the nightmare over the top of scary, frustrating and depressing. So many bad memories from past years during the medical convention dates on years I don’t attend the convention. Otherwise when I am at the medical convention I was having the time of my life.

I almost forgot that I am wearing my Archon v2.1 now because I am down my main everyday saber. I know my whole saber thing is a mess at the moment because I have no property working diamond sabers or daytime sabers in general. Oh my vanity!

I dealt with the day program appointment today. I shared my nightmares with the person I met with. Felt so good to get those nightmares off my chest.

I didn’t let the dream weaver have its way with me last night. Thankfully I didn’t have a nightmare. I dealt with the nightmares in real life by doing some of the things I did in the dream in real life. I had two sabers on me. I was ready to dance or for disaster because I did have my back up dancing sound saber and blade in my bag.

On another note I hope to be able to dance with the new saber because at the day program there’s a dance class I will be taking.

The Great was in my dream last night. Felt so good to have a nice time with the dream weaver.

In real life the day program I will be attending soon has an anime club on Fridays. Can’t pass that up. Hopefully I will meet someone who may want to go to the anime convention in real with me.

First day of pre conference classes at the medical convention today. I am and will breaking my habit of writing during the medical convention this year because i will be getting a new saber during the time of the medical convention this year.

I can’t remember if it was this night’s dream or last night’s dream but I did see The Great recently and got two new sabers.  I know why in real life I am having such good times with the dream weaver is because I have been looking into other brands of sabers along with ones from The Great.

Since loosing my main everyday stunt saber I don’t know exactly why I feel so jinxed about what goes wrong in the month of January during the time of the medical convention if I am not attending it in real life.

First night of medical convention today. Should I dress up like I usually do? I definitely will wear my Azure Fallen diamond today. That would be the saber I would have wanted to wear to the medical convention because that was the one I was trying to write a medical sound font play on. Sadly can’t do that anymore because the saber has no sound. Also why am I writing in this journal during the medical convention? I will definitely be at the medical convention in spirit today and the other days of the convention. So do miss being at the medical convention.

On the other hand I am anxious about my new saber. Really wish I stayed with The Great for an everyday saber. I don’t know exactly what to do about dancing now because the saber comes with a 36in pixel blade. Not good for socializing or dancing. The blade for a pixel saber can run about half the price of the hilt in some cases. I thought I was getting off cheep but will probably have to spend more on accessories for a pixel saber because all of my blades are for base lit sabers. I was just so frantic about my vanity, lost saber, and day program that I couldn’t think clearly about my newest saber.  Will probably write tomorrow even though it is the medical convention.

I am honoring healthcare workers today because tomorrow I am getting my new saber. I am planning on doing something funny about clothes tomorrow. During the medical convention I usually dress as if I was at the convention but tomorrow I am going to go full out Star Wars like in my dream with the looking for The Great at a medical convention.

Journal 1/13/26 part 1

Classic nightmare about sabers and getting into trouble at school or day program.  Well in this version of the dream I thought I had cleared up the my fear about wearing my saber to school or day program. I was caught by some students and they ratted me out to the teachers. I then was trying to find the document that in real life I had given to the day program about my sabers and nightmares in the dream. Couldn’t find the paperwork. Wanted to write in my journal and cry in my dream.

In real life I signed up for two days a week at the day program yesterday. Stupid dream weaver got me. I wasn’t expecting this nightmare to happen. Before bed I said I wanted to go to the convention in my dream but instead I got my classic nightmare. All the while I am celebrating the medical convention in real life. Feeling frustrated with the dream weaver this morning.

Have my first proffie headache. The new saber is my nightmare come true. I am exhausted today because of the dream weaver. I hope I have a good nights sleep. I haven’t been using real saber hilts at night just my plush one I made and a 32 in mid grade blade. I may try my newest saber tonight. I tried my v2 night blade last night but it was uncomfortable.  To tell you the truth I feel today like I did when I got my first ever saber from The Great.

I am getting my vanity back in order. I will be able to start using my newest saber today. I also need a haircut and color. I do those myself. I know how dumb vanity can be but you kind of know why you feel so bad about the way you look and feel about yourself. I am going to work on learning the basics of proffie boards soon. Hope I don’t get anymore migraines from it.

I am very with frustrated my new saber. Being  a pixel saber it is not practical for every day use. Also I can’t navigate the menus on it.  I just need to tell myself that the new saber will be better for dancing then what I have at the moment. Ever since The Great pulled a Great by getting rid of diamond boards I have never been happy with and about what soundboards are on the market and what is offered by US. I really should have stayed with stunt sabers. My migraines would thank me. The other part of me says “what about your vanity, dancing and socializing?”

My vanity is back. I can now change fonts somewhat easily. I did get around to doing my hair. I am more comfortable dancing with the new saber because I have a pixel to base lit adapter for it. I am not going to use the pixel blade it came with. It just would give me even more of a headache then a proffie board would to begin with.

I am figuring out my new saber a bit more today. Thankfully I do not have a headache from it. At least I am not overly frustrated with it. I just loved how easy it was on a US diamond saber to do things on.

I am having a good time with the dream weaver because the last few nights I have been having versions of the classic convention dreams. This month I will be meeting with my case manager and I can’t believe what I am going to write, start the day program. I feel so much better about myself because I have come to terms with my saber disaster, soundboards, dancing, possible depression, my vanity, day program fears, having to meet quarterly with my case manager and oth things in life. Still probably need to work on the fear in regards to those classic nightmares I have about wearing my saber to day program. Wish me luck with that.

Journal and dream 2/3/26

The dream weaver has me up with that classic nightmare about wearing my saber to school or day program. In this version I was in class with the teacher from my last day program who also been in other versions of this dream. The principal from high school pulled me out of class. I knew what was coming next. I felt very embarrassed. Like in other versions of this dream the principal had called my mother and was going to be kicking me out of school because of me wearing my saber. She gave me a choice to surrender my saber or to leave and not come back. I chose not to return to school. Was not going to give up my saber.

I kind of was expecting this to happen in regards to my previous journal entry yesterday. I guess I an not done with my subconscious anxiety around some of those matters I mentioned yesterday. At least I am not to frustrated with the dream weaver this morning.

Journal 2/4/26

First a dream

I had a wonderful dream this morning. In my dream my new proffie saber acting up somehow the setting turned into other brands of soundboards.  I then was messing around with the on saber menus, fonts and what ever else was on that board. I thought I was going to have to live with the different controls/format of the board. Suddenly I found a setting/format that actually was the same as Ultrasabers diamond saber. As soon I heard those familiar sound fonts I knew dancing would be possible again and a huge weight was lifted off of me. I then tried to change fonts like I would on a diamond saber and it worked.

Thank you dream weaver for letting me have such a wonderful dream after what you did to me last night. I know that what happened in my dream was just a dream but I really miss my diamond boards/sabers. In real life I can somewhat dance comfortably with a neo proffie saber. I have come to terms and made peace with myself about my dancing and soundboards. I will not give up looking for more diamond sabers in real life.

Good news no nightmares and the dream weaver left me alone last night.  I also realized that going dancing and to anime club would be too stressful on me at day program. I still am going to attend the dance workshop. I do feel comfortable enough with a neo proffie saber to dance. I don’t think I will use the pixel blade. That is what would give me the headache. I do need to update my stats vitals on my signature here.

I am thankfully done with the intake meetings with the day program. I will be starting the workshops at the day program on Wednesday.  I probably will start off with crafts and writing and will work my way up to the dance workshop. Wish me luck with the dream weaver tonight. I did again share with the person I met with at the day program about my classic nightmares I have about wearing my saber to day program and my vanity.

On a funnier note in real life while dancing for a friend today I accidentally tried to change fonts on my proffie saber as if is was an US diamond saber. I could totally see doing that in a dream

I also came to the realization during the meeting at the day program while taking about copping strategies when upset I try to those in my nightmares. After the call home to my mother in the nightmare and getting into trouble I always want to take a break and write in my journal. At least I am making some sense from those crazy nightmares.

First day of day program. I am writing this entry from day program. The dream weaver left me alone last night.

Over the weekend my family had other members of their family over. You can only imagine how I wanted them to see me. I had to be wearing my saber and a mask. Talk about vanity. Also the dream weaver has been nice to me.

Journal 2/17/26

Day program tomorrow. I feel like I am done with the nightmares. I still won’t be too surprised if the dream weaver attacks.  In real life I want to during writer’s workshop at the day program a few pieces about working with the nightmares about day program, apologizing to myself and others about how depressed I was about day program and my vanity, and just some personal debriefing about what was going on at that time. I feel like I can work with the trauma I have from the day program and its nightmares in real life rather then in my dreams.

On another note I was listening to some music yesterday that made me really miss my US diamond fonts. I wish I had the technological experience to find proffie versions of them and put them on my proffie saber.

I rescheduled the appointment with the case manager yesterday. Very good news no classic nightmare last night. I really think I have made peace with the dream weaver about those nightmaress.  Hopefully when it comes to the big yearly review of my case I won’t have nightmares. I can almost grab some pieces of my dream I woke up to this morning. One part had to do with getting a whole bunch of new sabers and accessories for them from The Great. I was just about to show some of them off and a I can’t remember what type of natural disaster hit but I lost all of the new sabers and the one I was wearing on my hip probably my proffie one. I was so depressed in the dream.

I went to writer’s workshop today at day program. I made a lot of progress on my writing project. I let the instructor of the workshop read my writing. They yet again re assured me that they would never do what happened in my classic nightmares about day program. The instructor was shocked by what the dream weaver did to me in regards to the dream where i was stripped of my clothes, saber and vanity. A cool thing about day program is that people like my trivia questions about me especially the one about me wearing a saber every day. That makes me feel happy and beautiful inside.

The Insomnia Monster has been active in the household the past few days. Today is day program. The dream weaver has been nice to me. Tomorrow I meet with my case manager. That will be a test for the dream weaver. I hope the nightmares of wearing my saber to day program are over.

Day program and writer’s workshop tomorrow. Looking forward to working on my writing project. I thought of another section to write about in it. I am going to write my inspiration for wearing a saber everyday.

Journal 3/2/26

I finished my writing project about day program and sabers today. I feel like I am done with the dream weaver and those nightmares. It will be a test on Wednesday night because I am meeting with my case manager Thursday. The big test will be the big yearly meeting.

I shared my writing with the instructors of the writer’s workshop and they all like it. I feels so good to be comfortable with my vanity and my saber at day program.

On another note I have been rewatching some videos by The Great in order to attempt to trigger the dream weaver to give me some dreams about The Great.  I was watching one about diamond sabers and gesture programming that reminded me of my play that I am no longer able to write because of broken diamond sabers and no more diamond boards. Made me a little sad. .

Since now switching to neo proffie I never could imagine trying to rearrange the settings on it or writing a who new font and programming it.  I wish I did have my US diamond saber fonts on my proffie saber. Turns out out of the my best guess would be 15 fonts on that saber I only like one of them. I need to remind myself I dealt with the second major saber disaster  and day program mess I wgot off cheaper then I could have and without a falling into a depression. Still would love to buy another saber from The Great sometime soon. I am just too frugal about finances. Turns out the font I like I couldn’t buy it and put it on a saber from The Great because it is exclusive to the brand of saber that it was written for.

Jinxed yet again. I have my meeting with my case manager tomorrow. Turns out that one of the anime conventions The Great attends starts tomorrow. The one where the setting for my play would have taken place. I have been having weird dreams but thankfully not that classic nightmare about wearing my saber to day program. I feel that I have come a long way since I started working with my fears, nightmares, depression, anxiety and other related symptoms. My mood is so much better. I will probably share some parts if not the whole piece of my writing I did about my nightmares and day program here. I may be a bit crabby today but thankfully not depressed.

Turns out I am not jinxed. My case manager is not feeling well today so I don’t have to go see them. I didn’t have any nightmares last night. I really feel like I am done with those dreams. I do remember a piece of my dream from last night. The piece I can remember was I was wearing my proffie saber in it.

Before I went to bed last night I tried to yet again trigger the dream weaver to give me a dream about The Great. Didn’t work. I did however crack up with his introduction to v5 sabers and how I coined the term “pulling a Great.”

The dream weaver bit and I am up with the classic nightmare about my saber and school. I thought I was done with that dream. I woke up to the feeling of a dream but then realized it was that classic nightmare. I guess I spoke too soon about getting rid of that nightmare.

After that night with the dream weaver I decided to take it easy and sleep today. Just woke up to yet a different bad dream. This time it was a major saber disaster with my proffie saber. In the dream I was showing it off and the whole saber fell apart. I then was trying to put it back together but that didn’t end well and I ended up burning up some boards in it. Thankfully it was just a dream.

On another note I hope everyone is haven’t a fabulous time at the anime convention whis weekend. The convention this weekend is happening at the setting for my play.

Day program and writer’s workshop today. I wrote to my case manager today. I will be meeting with them tomorrow. Hope the dream weaver doesn’t bite. I will be sharing with my case manager the writing piece about my day program, saber disasters, and nightmares with them. That dream weaver can be such a pain.

Since I wrote last I did end up using a proffie saber in the dark to get around. Very cumbersome. Definitely wouldn’t want to use it for disaster.

I had another good example of when a saber comes in handy today for every day and disaster use. A friend had a flat tire so I used my proffie saber to look under the car to find a good place for the jack. I really don’t like that my new proffie saber has a kill switch and I have not figured out how to mute the saber yet. The good thing about a kill switch is that you will always have some battery life in the saber.

Dream
I had broken led modules in two of my sabers. One was my Azure Fallen diamond and the other was my new proffie pixel saber. I was trying to fix them in my dream. At least I had an Ultrasaber dream but sadly no Great in it.

Went to dance workshop today at day program. Made me sad and miss my old dancing days. Also since I now am using a proffie saber with smooth swing dancing really doesn’t work well with it. I probably should try some Dan with my newest saber with music. The only problem is that I only like one sound font on it. Dancing will never be the same as it was with my Azure Fallen diamond.

I heard from my case manager this morning about another program and therapy. It triggered the dream weaver into giving me two dreams. One had to do with the stuff with my case manager. The other one was finally the convention dream. In the convention dream I was hoping to find The Great in it. Also the other convention was happening at the same time.

I recently had the insomnia monster after me. Thankfully the monster kept the dream weaver away that night. I am not going to do the newest program that I mentioned in my last entry. I will possibly be doing a full day at the day program I am going to right now. That was such a nightmare to deal with in the first place. I am not ready to have to go through that trauma again so soon.

The good news is that I was having a very nice saber dream this morning.  Wish I could remember the details of it.

People got a big treat today at day program. I actually danced with my neo proffie saber today at day program. I do not enjoy my neo proffie saber for dancing. I may just need to practice more with it. The bypass for the pixel blade was not as stable as I would have liked it for dancing. I really want to get at least one of my diamond sabers fixed.

On another note I did write to my case manager today. Also the dream weaver bit. Didn’t enjoy it one bit.

I will be going to the new part of day program today. Thankfully I am not embarrassed about my saber. Make that I don’t have time for the dream weaver to mess with me about that.  I also was asked if I wanted to be in a talent show at day program. No way on that.  That is another version of a nightmare for me. If I had a working diamond saber I may have done  tryouts for talent show.

Yesterday the person I do care giving for found my lost saber.

I also had a wonderful time at day program. The new part has to do with the healthcare field.  I felt at home with the medical supplies and equipment. Especially since I speak medical terminology. I impressed everyone with my language. No one mentioned my saber in a bad way. I have only gotten positive comments about my saber at day program compared to my nightmares.

Been sick since Thursday. I won’t be going to day program tomorrow. Actually was looking forward to going tomorrow but I don’t want to get that sensitive population sick. Sorry for the late entries. I have been sick and no energy to write. I did have an embarrassing lightsaber dream recently. The whole vanity thing was why I was embarrassed in my dream.

I was going to write a few days ago but was hoping technical difficulties with this website. There is some sad news in regards to day program. No more dance class this quarter. Quite disappointed about that. So I put away my dancing stuff today. Still not feeling my best.  I have been having weird dreams but can’t remember them.

On another note since I planned on doing more stuff at day program in the healthcare field I will be now dressing in my healthcare worker clothing now. I was tempted to wear my Azure Fallen diamond today because I am dressed as if I was going to the medical convention today.

I first want to congratulate The Great on 21 years of being in the saber business. It was nice to see him introduce the newest sabers to the US family. Thankfully they don’t interest me. I also am hoping to be dong more in the healthcare system at day program. I got the opportunity to do that job today. I am very proud of myself for getting over my fears and nightmares about my sabers, vanity, and other fears about day program.

It is looking positive that I will be getting the new saber I mentioned in my last journal entry. Also today is that talent show at my day program that people wanted me to dance in. Thankfully I am not going to watch it and especially not be in it. That would have definitely given me another version of some classic nightmares. I think the dream weaver would combine the dream of the dream with the talent show with the dream about wearing my saber to day program. If I get the new saber I will have obsidian fonts back but not in diamond format. Dancing probably would be easier then it is now with proffie. It has been so long that I have had a proper working US sound saber. I kind of forgotten what dancing with those fonts feels like. I don’t know how well the obsv3 soundboard and I would get along but I would think that it would be better then proffie that I am using now whenever I dance.

I decided not to get the saber that I have been talking about in the past few journal entries. When I do eventually buy another US saber I probably with buy it new from The Great.

On another note the talent show at my day program made front page news in the local newspaper.

Journal 4/28/26

I am kind of glad I didn’t buy the new saber because of my soundboard struggles.

I am fed up with soundboards and dancing because of The Great pulling a Great by getting rid of diamond boards. As stated in multiple entries even with obs soundboards or any other brand of soundboards dancing will never be the same because of the way diamond fonts are written. I loved when The Great said that gestures were the bread and butter of diamond boards. That is so true for a dancer like me. Haven’t seen that feature anywhere else. Also the spin and stab effect. No pressing buttons to trigger special effects is a game changer for dancing.  Sorry for the rambling yet again. Picking out soundboards is like shopping for toothpaste that I had to do yesterday that always reminds me of The Great.

On a happier note yesterday I had someone make a nice comment about wearing my saber while I was getting lunch.

Journal 5/1/26

Heard from my case manager today regarding my next two appointments with them.  I am feeling like if it ok with the case manager if I could do the yearly review all by myself this year. I have healed so much trauma this year with my case manager. Also all the work with my dreams and journaling really helped me.  I may go back to sleep now. If I do wish me luck with the dream weaver. I really hope those day program and vanity about sabers are done.

Very good news about the dream weaver. I actually had a dream about The Great instead of those nightmares I used to get every time I had to meet with my case manager. I was very happy when I woke up this morning. I actually saw The Great instead of think in my dream rather looking for him at the wrong convention like what the dream weaver makes me do in my other dreams.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Star Wars Day. I have a headache today. At day program today people got a very cool Star Wars Day treat. I brought the blade for my saber and everyone got to hear and see a sample of all the fonts on my proffie saber.

Journal 5/12/26

This website has been driving me nuts with technology problems. Haven’t been able to write. Last time I tried I lost my whole entry. I do have my case manager in a week. Have been doing more in the healthcare field. I don’t want to write more because I don’t want to loose another entry here.
