So, I'm going to buy a RGB Prophecy soon, but I'm stuck on the choice of blade.

I think I have the same problem as you my friend! I have compared and thought about the different blades to no end and still can't decide between them! I like them both too much to decide!

Might not be a bad idea. That's the only way to really tell...is to see it in person. I think the colors look better in the standard blades. Just my opinion though.

Yeah man I say get the regular mid grade, just to have a variety.  It's definitely a different look, and isn't really better or worse than the Ultraedge I don't think.

Also, you might want to consider a heavy grade blade (either normal or Ultraedge).  I don't know what your plans are, but for dueling they're very good, very durable.  Plus I kind of like the balance they give to a saber.

I have a question Brother. I have a standard heavy grade and what I want to know is: is the standard midgrade any brighter? I thought maybe there wasn't much difference since it's a clear blade.

Standard midgrade is not noticably brighter than the heavy dutys. I now always take them as an option. And after trying both I find that the standard is my prefered blade option over ultra. The ultra edge gives the thicker blade, but turns the colour kind of pastel. I like the stronger colours the standard blade gives and dont mind trading the fullness of the colour for that.

Honestly My Brother, in my experience, the difference between the Heavy Mid Grade, and Standard Midgrade is Barely Noticeable  .  The only thing I can think to tell you is that, there is a VERY SMALL (were talking minute) amount of material that the light has to travel through to shine out, this extra material causes the color to have to struggle about 2% more, to get out of the blade than it would with a Standard Midgrade Blade, (though in all honesty My Brother, this could all be in my head lol).

So long story short, it's really not worth worrying about, the difference is so minute, that you will never notice it, unless you are just STARRING AT IT FOR HOURS!!!!!!!!!!! lmao

No the ultra blades dont go all the way through the blade but the Ultraedge blades do. Bottom line get Ultraedge!
In case anyone was wondering Ultra says that the regular blades are called Ultra blades (clear) And the others are called Ultraedge (white)
