Here are a few pictures of me and my family at a recent Rebel Legion/ 501 Legion event in Wisconsin. It was a great time. The kids had a blast. Four of our base members did a lightsaber demo with Ultra Sabers and all of the money charged for the seats in the theater ($2 a head) went to Make A Wish Foundation. It was a very nice day and everyone, costumed members and public, had a wonderful time.

I probably had my picture taken with about 300 kids that day, all of whom loved it. These are a few I took.

Enjoy.

Me, my wife, and my junior Jedi in their home made tunics. This is in front of a back drop they had hung up. Looks like a nice family vacation on the Death Star  Cheesy

The kids, now out of Jedi tunics, with a 501 member.

The kids with Revan.

Yes. This is awesome. Looks like the kids had a blast! Plus, my younger brother was helped by Make a Wish, which makes this mean even more to me. Point for an awesome day.

Thanks to all for the points and kind words.

I too had a cousin that benefited from Make A Wish. She die many years ago but they sent her and her family to Disney World. It is a great organization and I was proud to do a small part to help the cause.

There were 6 Jedi there that day. 4 of them did the duels, myself and the other untrained Jedi were the doormen and ushers. All together the group raised well over $1000 for Make A Wish.

I am working with a partner to get trained up for dueling. Our first training secession was last weekend. It was the first time I used an Ultra Saber for anything other than playing around or looking cool. I used my Standard Issue and I was once again impressed with Ultra Sabers. I just ordered a Heavy Grade blade so I so not destroy my Mid Grade, the new blade is on it's way to my home today.

The moral of the story is that Rebel Legion and the 501 are not just people who really love Star Wars. We try to do some good with our little hobby, too. Smiley
