Can the Scorpion's claw be easily removed?  And, if so, does the emitter still look okay?  From the online photographs, it looks as if the claw sits in a machined groove.  Does it look pretty clean if the claw is removed?

...I love the overall look of the Scorpion.  The windowed emitter is really cool.  And I like the design of the grip and the nobbed pommel.  But here's the thing: I'm considering using it with a blue or green blade.  (Is that Jedi heresy?)  My main concern is that the claw element might be over the top for a guardian or consular saber.

Thoughts or feedback?

This video shows the hilt being pulled apart, and I believe the claw gets removed as well, although it's a while since I've watched it.

I don't think there's any issue with the claw on a Jedi 'sabre - I have a Crimson Reaper, and there's two claws on that Smiley
