I've got the Archon with the classic pommel and the Emerald driver and it's my fav lightsaber that US makes. I've fought with it several times and it's as solid as a rock! Great choice, I had some trouble getting the speaker/battery pack out when I got mine at first so if you are having any trouble PM me and i'll give you some tips on how to fix it, super easy. Enjoy that Archon, I love mine!

I bought an Archon a couple of years ago, and of the 4 sabers that I own, it is my favorite. My only regret is that since I bought it, charging ports, and Emerald drivers have come into the mix. If they had been around back then, I would surely have gotten both. I suppose I could have it retrofitted with them, but I suspect that could get almost as costly as the original saber.

Thanks Hazard502, I will if I have any difficulties with the battery but the only time I'll be taking them out is to listen to the boot up sound, lol. I do have the recharge port so I'll be using that quite a bit. Yeah I'm going to get the classic pomel with consular green. I think it'll look better with that set up. Can anyone tell me which blades look best with green and blue, the ultra edge or the clear one?

Nice Review of the archon it's a great saber to own for sure
To answer your question it really comes down to personal preference when it comes to blade types. Some prefer one over the other for different colors. Ultraedge is favored for blues and greens where for reds I actually like the regular over ultraedge

Thanks Choco! Yeah that's what I figured that it really came down to personal preference, but it would also really help knowing where most poeple tend to go on blades with colors. Especially with this being my very first saber from Ultrasabers. I absolutely love the Archon, it's in my hands whenever I have free time. I just can't put it down.

I love my Archon in CG with UltraEdge, so I would say UE  Actually all of the "pure" (non-mixed) colours GB, CG and AS as well as some of the blue and green mixtures (AB, EG, SRD) look good in UE. Personally, I even like BR in UE blades  IMO it doesn't look that bad. But as already said, it's mostly a personal preference. |

Mate nice review! And a Point for Archon awesomeness!  Like you, I Love my Archon. I got mine in Emerald so I can mix and match colors whenever I like. Its currently in CG, True Luke style! |

One thing about US is, you cant beat the Rewards Program which is really a great perk, especially when you take into account that US already has such a competitive price structure compared to other Saber sites/builders.
That , coupled with what i think is likely the very best turn around time on placing your order / recieving it , has made them an industry leader .
not to even mention the awesome looks, performance, and options available to you.Grats on the new Saber !
