I really like the cut and design of the costume.
I think it could take a big step up with some more color. Grey , some tan or a low saturation green or a dark blue. Think about stealing the color scheme of one of the "fringe" characters; adding a red or yellow detail and some dark blue to mimic Han Solo would make it scream authentic Star Wars. Maybe staining the white parts would be help too.
Please don't take this as me knocking the costume, I would not be writing any suggestions if I didn't think the costume was already pretty awesome. Seriously kudos for the cuts and composition.
