Saw this online.

This could be easily made with any lightsaber, a consular shroud (anodized gold), archon emitter (minus the neck), and a sanded down guardian pommel.
Was thinking of using the Azure Reaper but idk if gold/silver/blue would look right. What do you guys think?

Crappy TCSS concept (due to lack of options).

planned sabers:
"the creepy pasta nightmare" - consular (w/o shroud) connected to a yari pike (silver) by a vented flush coupler (silver) with a guardian pommel on the yari - BR color
"501st" - initiate v2 with white and blue paint - GB color

Could use Overlord emitter. Or Arbiter. An Arbiter would work pretty well with this, leaving just the shroud and the pommel to get. The blue might look pretty cool though... Tongue

I'll do some testing with a toilet paper tube and some gold duct tape after US gets the Archon Emitters back in stock. Then if it turns out ok I might just have my shroud sent in to be anodized. XD

The Arbiter is definitely the right saber based on the pic, but a regular Reaper might look good as well. Unfortunately I don't think US offers an anodizing service since the hilts come to them anodized already. It's a nice design.

I'll either see if TCSS will do it for me if I send in the shroud, or I'll find some place local to do it.

for what it might cost to anodize it might be cheaper to order 1ft section of brass tube

Yeah, that's not really gold. That's brass, and it would be cheaper to just have them machine brass parts. In fact, you could make them yourself if you wanted to, by picking up some brass sink piping from your local hardware store, sanding off the "Chroming" from it (doesn't take much work at all), and then cutting it to the desired shape/shroud.

The problem is that the brass sink tubes don't fit over the ultrasabers hilts unless you have a split in the sink tube and then it can be too wide needing screws to hold the two parts togather

You can find ones that do. I have a few of them myself. You just need to look for one with the right diameter. They're also usually not going to be outright brass unless you special order it that way. Usually, you have to go to the local hardware store (Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, etc) and buy the sink tubing there, which appears to be chromed. Then you have to remove the layers of chrome by sanding it until you get to the brass.
