Dark Arbiter and Aeon LE V3 {Gifts for dear friends}

Howdy all.
 Long story short, I was the best man at my friend's wedding a few years back and he gave me a beautiful katana as a present. How do I repay him and his lovely bride? Ultrasabers of coarse!
 Her's was an easy decision with the Aeon LE v3. I chose to go with the Adegan Silver for the blade and a Red AV switch [kind of a Canadian theme if you will]. The only issue was that I didn't like the Aeon's pommel, so I also ordered the Catalyst's pommel to give it a more finished look.
 Now, for Him, that took a bit more thought and waiting. Eventually the Dark Arbiter came up as the secondary Deal of the Day, and it all clicked. Taking some ideas from fellow forum folk David Finton, and ThomaHawk631, I swapped out the Arbiter's emitter for an Overlord's and went with a Violet Amethyst blade and green AV switch as my friend is a huge Batman fan and will dig the Joker theme.
 Both sabres arrived within days of ordering, and with me living in a separate  country from Emory, that is pretty damn cool! Both sabres are wonderfully crafted with the covertec wheel and Recharge port placed exactly where I wanted. The only thing I will say is that I will have to do some minor buffing of the Aeon, and I am also going to dry brush some aluminum paint on to the Recharge port as it seems to be a different "black plastic" design than the Arbiter and my own Catalyst's. I chose to go with a 32" ultraedge heavy grade blade. LOng enough to be cool, but lighter in weight than a full 36" blade. I am not thrilled with the pictures as I had to use my iPod instead of my motion steady'ing Canon... You be the judge.
















I am still debating on the Overlord emitter or the Arbiter emitter... I do like the "choke point" look of the Arbiter one, but wish they made a silver version. [hint hint]

Nice. I am too digging the Joke themed Arbiter. Looks good with the Overlord emitter actually. Or just let him have both for whatever he's in the mood for. Can't go wrong with windowed emitters though.

The option of choice is only the illusion as the chosen was always the selection. Overlord emitter way!  
besides who needs a choke when you have grenade grips! And if you're dead set on the silver arbiter emitter "the other guys"
Have one very similar but I generally don't like to send folks that direction because you can find the majority of the things you need at US if you look hard enough. Such as the Overlord emitter which you already have and personally looks better due to the windows!

Very cool story, and the thoughtfulness of how you set up each hilt is a great idea as it makes each one unique even though others may have the same lightsabers.  I too vote for the Overlord emitter it just makes the Arbiter a tab more custom for your friend.  They both look REALLY nice in the colors you chose.
