I was swinging around my new Prophecy yesterday after i got it and I started hearing something sliding around inside the hilt. So i took out the blade and took a look. What it seems to be is the LED is sliding inside the hilt. I'm worried that theres a possible chance of it coming loose and failing. So what should i do? Has anyone else had this happen and is it no big deal?

I thought the same thing when I got my Shock LE. In my case, it was the LED module wiggling around a tiny bit inside the hilt. Since it's supposed to be easily removable, it has some wiggle room. I don't think there's anything to worry about. Make sure you have the blade all the way down, and see if it's still moving. This may be something else though, I don't know.

I had the same on my Standard Issue.

Since the led isn't going anywhere and that I don't plan an getting it repaired (something like 10 000 miles is kind of discouraging Grin), I just wrapped the led with some adhesive band and stuck it down inside the saber. It's not going to go anywhere now Grin.

But yes, I thinks that it's made on purpose to be taken out easily.

ok yeah i took a look at it, shoved the blade all the way in, and it aint goin nowhere. only problem is i think the blade is a bit too long for it, but since i plan on replacing that blade since it broke (somehow a heavygrade broke on the first day -_-" ) its not a big deal. thanks ya guys Smiley
