Ordering a saber and a quick disconnect..

Hey everyone. I have a few questions..

I want to order a Dark Prophecy LE and a spare MLS unit with quick disconnect- one of the ones that are appropriately sized.(Not the one for the Bellicose, Bane, ect..)

If I get the quick disconnect, will the module coming in the saber be the same kind of module I get on the side? And if it is, will the quick disconnect also be found within the saber? (To make the colors interchangeable.)

Cause if you  are, that's NOT a quick disconnect. It's an entirely new LED, that you solder in to replace the one already in your saber.

If you order the LED module with Quick Disconnect, it will come with the Quick Disconnect connector. However, since the Dark Prophecy LE doesn't have the Quick Disconnect option, you won't be able to swap LEDs.  Unless you solder in the other end of the connector into the saber electronics yourself, that is.

Anyhow, you should e-mail them at [email protected] and ask whether they could add quick disconnect to your saber or not.
If not, you could wait for Ultra's CSO and have him add it as a custom job.

That's a good point, but then the LED module he takes out wouldn't be compatible with the quick disconnect that he just installed. Unless of course he solders a quick disconnect to the original LED module also.

Ah, you're right. I didn't consider that! He'd have to buy an extra connector to solder on to that LED module, since he'd have already used the one that came with the separate module.
