My First Sith Mask

This is my first attempt at a sith Inquisitor from the old republic(btw my sith group blood of the fold is recruiting ) so I wanted it to have a traditional sith tribal look like what darth maul and Darth Wyyrlok (2nd) have tattoos of, also I forgot to take a picture of the side where I looked up Sith runes and wrote LEET (1337) on it :p the actual letters if it had numbers I would have done the numbers.

so I started with card board and then after making the base helmet I glazed it in resin then fiberglass clothed the inside with more resin then primer spray sand it then a coat of bondo, after that I used spot putty to finish any spots I dont like, and finally a coat of primmer and final paint. sooooo this first picture is my first three helmets in plain cardboard step, then the resin step, and finally the bondo step. The next few pics are of the helmet, and me wearing it.

Wicked sweet! Personally, I'd weather it a little to take some of that shiney new helmet look off, but that's just me. I like it, it really has something of a handcrafted feel to it and that's great for something like this I think. Makes it more... personal, to the costume.

yeah I plan on doing a little ware and tear on it, I want a scorch mark on the side to look like a blaster just nicked it. I would have made everything more machine like and perfect if I were going for the sith warrior but the inquisitors have more tribal looking armor with bits of tech in the mix. I thank you all for the compliments, but I just saw below theres another sith mask post with a guy that did the tech looking one and it looks way better then mine lol oh well this was a first attempt. I am also making a shoulder pad thing that looks kinda like saiyan armor but I am going to put some leds on it and on the other shoulder I have a leather shoulder guard so again half tech half ancient tribal Sith, oh and a bracer that can hold my iphone so me it will look like a communicator when me and my girlfriend face time. :p cant wait till I am finished with the whole thing.  Has anyone had any experience with wonderflex? because I am thinking of using that instead of cardboard for the rest of the armor...

  sweet *repulse ''hail to the sith''!!!   my idea is try a aluminum mask and try dark chrome and then pen your design that was your mask wont fall apart brother!
