Great review man. The important thing about a review is that it gets across your impressions, good or bad, of the saber - you did this very well, it was easy to see what you loved the most about your new weapon.
I agree with you about the DSI, its strength lies in its simplicity. Just a basic hilt with some shallow grooves and a slanted emitter, it's perfect for someone looking for a simple hilt for dueling. I personally love the silver grooves against the anodized black body - the contrast is excellent. I have a DSI staff in Fire Orange and I love it. Good choice on the Consular Green too, that's my favorite color and it looks fantastic with the DSI hilt.
Oh and good luck trying to not buy any more Ultrasabers... you're officially joined our club of addicts lol.

Nice saber you got there! The Consular Green is pretty amazing isn't it? yeah its pretty awesome! green isn't normally one of my favourite colours on a lightsaber but damn this thing is BEAUTIFUL. |

thanks man! its also great to see such a wonderful community of people getting together and discussing the awesomeness that is ultrasabers. it really makes a difference to have great people to share the joy of your new weapon with.  i actually bought this saber for my brother haha, but since we've received it we've been fighting over it, so im definitely getting another one soon, most likely an rgb prophecy. |

haha that would make a great photo! my dad flies helicoptors and he's flown over my school on occason and taken pictures, so that could actually be possible.......too bad i've moved from hong kong since then.  |
