Consular custom ideas

At the convention today, I ended up picking up a consular in green no sound.....it looked too good and had to get one. Still waiting on my big custom project to ship (Raven but that's my bros, and a grab bag which I got plenty if plans for customizing it.) so with this consular I'll hang from my belt as a trophy kill, I'm trying to think of some customizations I could do, and looking for some ideas specifically for the consular.

Consulars are really cool looking hilts.  I'd like one too.

What if you weathered the hilt part, but left the shroud part shiny?

I always thought a pommel swap would look good on that hilt too.

Lord rapine- I was thinking something along those lines but might try to damage the shroud or emmiter try at battle damage. As I said I don't plan on doing a massive amount, large project is for my grab bag trophy it comes.

You could always add a wrap or something, maybe some leather.  You could do a bit of that without damaging the hilt. The thinner parts around the flanged areas of the emitter look like they'd take wraps pretty well.  You could also do some kind of cord to hang it.  Assuming that since it's a trophy it won't have to be drawn, you could do something that affixes it to the belt more permanently than a Covertec or D-Ring.

Incidentally, I just want to say that having a lightsaber to carry around as a trophy is cool.  Very Sithy.  Have a DS point.
