Archon V1 with Ultimate FX Ani sound!

Ok I got a Arcon V1 as my grab bag this last week and decided to add sound to it and customize it alot. It is a work in progress so keep in mind its not quite finished yet. I am going to paint the hilt a Midnight Blue and secure it better by cementing some of the new PVC parts i added.I am also going to add cord wrap to the 3 narrow sections.I also wanted to give the stock Ultimate FX Ani speaker some resonance room to try and increase the volume abit. That worked. I added a 5" section and cemented the speaker to a PVC fitting and Threaded it into place and it sounds great! It is now a very long hilt but it is very unique and I like the way it turned out.As I have quite the selection of Ultra Sabers to Duel with , this saber most likely will not and will be for spinning . I will post pics of the saber once it is complete. I just wanted to show off what I have done to it already...enjoy!! Also included are picks of the Ultimate FX Ani disassembled and the Archon V1 before mod.

Nooiiice!! The more I hear the ultimatefx boards, the more I wanna rip one apart and get my hands on one! lol. Plus, I like the PVC extension. It reminds me of my Bane!

How long is the hilt now?  Could it have been shorter, or does it need that extra amount of length?

Thanks all, it could have been shorter, I had it all in the original hilt but with the 4aaa batt pack it was REALLY tight and I was worryed about the solder connections breaking on the board . I created a new harness for it with quick disconnects at the led, switch,and battery pack.I can swap LEDs now if I get some of the older led moduels and mod them too. Also with the speaker in place and all the electronics in the hilt , there was no room for resonance and it sounded the same as it did on the Ani Saber.as it ended up the led ,switch, and battery pack are still housed in the main saber and the sound/impact board and speaker are on the lower section. My CramFoo was not strong enough Lol. It's a start. It is a small board and the impact detector is mounted to the led strand assymbly of the Ani and had to be trimmed and resoldered to wires for the Led. I'm certain it can be added to shorter sabers but that will require great effort. It is about 5 times louder than it was when mounted in the Ani hilt.If I make any father mods later to shorten it or change it I will post about it. But as it is I like it and will put the finishing paint and cord wrap on it soon.

Yea, the hilt is too long for my taste, but I could tell it was definintly louder, and kind of sounded a little better too.

Very impressive and inspiring I'm sure we will stare to see a lot of toys canabilized for this sort of mod Keep up the great work
