I have been trying to connect my new Graflex CE with Diamond Controller to my computer and it doesn't seem to detect it at all, I have tried it on different computers with different micro USBs and still nothing. I am starting to think it might be the saber itself. Does anyone have this problem/had this problem and know any other fixes I could try?

I have a Windows 10 Home edition with version 20H2. I have tried in both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. I have also tried to use the software http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html and even that could not detect anything. It seems that when I plug it in and turn it on it detects no trace of the saber anywhere at all. I am using the USB that was given with the battery charger if that makes a difference.

Make sure your saber batteries are fully charged before you connect to your computer.

Your cable must be data transfer capable. Your battery charger cable will not work. Try a phone or tablet cable. They are usually power and data capable.

On your computer, make sure your "plug ins" are up to date.

That is where you should start. Data cable, and computer updates.

I hope that helps a little.

Sometimes you have to unplug and re-plug it a few times to get it to connect.  Not sure why, but it usually solves the issue.

Got it fixed! Just used a different micro usb than the charger one they supplied. The light in the saber is flickering now though and slowly shuts off and fades into a red, I'm assuming this is just a sign I need to recharge my batteries and it should work perfectly fine!

Yeah, get a full charge on them, then have fun!

Everything works fine, charged the battery and sometimes the saber randomly flickers red while its off. Doesn't cause an inconvenience and I haven't seen it cause problems but its annoying at times. Any clue how to fix it or why it happens?
