It's all in the title. My lightsaber seems to sometimes flicker to a very feint red or sometimes sits at the feint red and looks like a laser pointer shooting out, I have no idea why this is happening. Anything I can do? Also could this problem just be a minor inconvenience or can it cause long term damage to the saber?

Stupid question, but have you made sure that you have fresh batteries in the saber?

Sometimes it seems to sit at a light red too, it's progressively getting worse...

I'm curious what kind of saber you have. I dont care about the hilt. Just the type of board.  Emerald and V3 or V4? Diamond?

Did you change your fonts and light settings?

I ask because I had a similar problem with my very first saber. It was a mystery box that had a emerald V3 saber. The green led would stay on at about 10% brightness after the saber was off. It would kill the batteries real quick. If I removed the batteries the led went off and I immediately put them back in. The light would remain off. When I turned on and off the saber it would remain on again.

Long story short, months later the green led died completely.  I sent it in for repair. I stupidly tried to fix it first and voided my warranty.  I had to pay for the repairs.

Don't try to fix a fault led is my advice. Contact Ultrasabers and send it back, under warranty, for a repair.
In the mean time don't worry about it. Have fun with your saber, but don't leave the batteries stored in the saber. It is bad for the batteries and could make your red led fail quicker.

Diamond board, haven't changed anything on it at all. I guess I will try to get in contact with them about it but for now I will just keep the batteries out of the saber when I am not using it.

It is best to contact Ultrasabers.  They are the professionals! I'm just a fan with some experience.  Like 30 sabers and it has only happened to me once. Sorry it happened to you. At least when you send it back you don't  have to ship the blade too. Just the hilt.  Still sucks though.  Enjoy your saber before the temporary separation.  I already feel your pain.
