i have no clue how to properly post a pic of something or add a picture to my profile?? ive been on this forum for quite a while and i still dont know

for your profile, it would seem you have figured that out, but otherwise just go to your profile and to the left you can click on "look and layout preferences" and just paste the image URL where you need it.
