How do you switch out the LED's on the Bellicose? Does it just slide out without the blade holder in it?
I'm pretty sure you have to take the blade holder out to pop the MLS unit out, but I could be wrong.
Yes, all that is needed is to remove the blade holder and the MLS unit shakes out. There is plenty of service loop on the wire. Getting it out of the Guardian is far more annoying - too many screws and knobs, I am glad I did not bother with quick disconnects on that one.
I am hoping to get an Adegan Silver sabre next, I have already ordered the Lee Filters, and will get quick disconnect so I can make it a red sabre as well. As I understand the filtered colours are washed out compared to pure LEDs, and having a bright red would be priority. Being able to make it yellow, green, purple or blue is just gravy! My father has made me a wonderful sabre stand, which I will show off when I get the new sabre.
