Not sure where I should post my joy, but my catalyst has FINALLY arrived! And I am happy! Not what I expected, but I like it. Specs- UltraEdge Blade, with Blue LED, Obsidian Soundboard... I will begin customization on it soon, and will post pics, soon after I do a review. but for now. I am just going to enjoy the saber. Smiley

I look forward to seeing some pics. I plan on modding my Catalyst soon. I'm going to opt with a petit crouton. They are unlocked now. Not sure if that means it will accept any of the Novastar fonts. There's no comment on that anywhere.

I'll be needing the hilt machined out for accents, AV switch and recharge port.

What kind of customization do you have in mind for yours?

Mostly weathering to make it look beat up, seen a lot of action, etc. Maybe some kind of grip. I dunno fully yet.

Check out both weathering metal as well as antiquing. Look at weathering for sword hilts. Try damaging it the real way, scratching it by striking it the right fasion. You can buy antiquing paint for metal in a hardware store, maybe check that out.
