Is it possible to make a anti vandal momentary switch work on an already built saber without sound, will it still illuminate and do I need to add a resistor or anything for it?

I believe you will have to add a resistor to the switch cause if you add the switch without one it will blow the led in the anti vandal illuminated switch.

A momentary switch will only light up saber while pressed if no sound. You will need a latching switch or to add sound too.
