are you noticing any of the paint chip or "rub" off after some use?
or is this saber more of a display piece?
I am thinking of painting my dueling saber, but I want to avoid the paint coming off.
If you use gloves the paint does rub off, but then again I didn't seal it at all. So I will have to re do some of the black on it and then clear coat it with Krylon spray paint; I am not sure if I want to use matte or gloss on it yet.

It took me over a week to do it just because I did it in the middle of a northwest winter and even at 70 the house was still to damp and cold to get the model paint to cure and set in anything less than a full day.
