Sorry for the dangling wrist strap in the corner of the video XD
I also noticed that it seems sun rider/green at some angles and that is just from the green diode in the Pyerstone MLS unit.

-Build Quality and Construction
The Raven is a very solid hilt. It is of a single tube design with just a removable MHS (Modular Hilt System) pommel. It is made with Ultrasabers signature light, yet strong aircraft aluminum. The Claws are one of the only removable parts, and there are two lengths. Also there is a blade holder which holds the blade with two retention screws. The Holder itself is also held in with two screws. The reason the Holder comes out is so you can get too the MLS (Modular Light System) inside if you bought quick disconnect to change colors with another MLS unit. Overall I love how sturdy the hilt is and it still looks great with no claws.

-Saber Design
The Raven is a Beautiful hilt and works well in any color. For many of you the option of getting it in RGB is awesome, because it gives you 7 colors in the one hilt with no swapping MLS units. I love the claws. I got both lengths, although the shorter seems to be a lot better in terms of keeping useable blade space. The grip silver groves give the hand a good space to hold on to. I especially like the detailing on the blade holder and even the whole emitter in general. Remember that this emitter is not MHS compatible because of the design being part of the initial metal tube. This does make the hilt very solid though especially when dueling. So I don’t mind at all having the emitter being fixed. If you are buying this saber you are buying it for the emitter and claws and you would never change it.

-What are the features?
As I said I got it with both claw lengths and ended up using just the small claws. I also have both pommels. The Plain Silver pommel and the black grooved Super Sith pommel. I preferred the plain silver pommel because it added a bit more weight to the saber and wasn’t sharp to the touch. For the color I got orange, I didn’t want a deep red like most Sith saber but still wanted something dark. Orange is one of the weakest colors and looks best in real darkness. At first I for it with Orange with a Red Flash on Clash (FOC), but this combination actually makes the blade look like a deeper yellow than a true orange. I ended up getting another MLS unit and switched it out with Orange with a Silver FOC, this seems like a much more real orange color not being close to red or yellow. So if you want a true orange and you are getting FOC get it with a Silver flash. Of course I got it with obsidian sound and really like how much volume it puts out and with the customizability.  I got the AV switch too as it is much lower profile for the hilt than the normal guarded switch and your hand is usually near it when wielding it. I also got it non-illuminated because I wanted to swap out colors and still have a cohesive look to the saber.

-How it handles both one and two handed
The Raven works great in both one and two handed, it is long enough for just fitting two hands. I do find the balance point is up here the claws attach with a midgrade blade so you will need a bit more strength to wield it. Reverse grip also works very well.

-Weight/Length in comparison to another saber
The Saber is very long with the claws and about an average length without. It is a lot thicker and heavier than say my liberator but it gives it good heaviness when going to attack and follow through. I will note that I use a 40” blade to give me more blade area for attacks. With the 40” blade it gives me about the same useable blade space as my Liberator. With other sabers like the Malice you can order the saber with a 40” blade to compensate for the depth of the emitter and claws. I ordered the 40” blade separately because of this.

-What specific things you would change or enhance
There are a few enhanced options I would like on the raven though. If Ultra Sabers could offer with the saber itself the option to get a 40” blade without buying it separately it would be great, and that goes as well for other sabers with claws like the War Galive Series and Reaper series. Lastly after talking to some of my friends we do want to see a version with the emitter in black, keeping the design for the blade holder, and having the option to get the claws in black like the Dark War Glaive, just for more customization options. But keeping the silver grip rings on the bottom of the hilt.

-Possible customization ideas you have if any
For customization I really actually like the Malice Round Pommel as it better matches the groves on the emitter, also adding 2 Pike extensions with a initiate blade makes the saber into a nice staff looking almost like a magic staff with a torch on top when used with Orange.

-Overall thoughts of the saber
Overall I love this saber. It is my favourite with claws because it is still menacing but nice and sleek and easy to wield. Only thing I would change is adding the Black anodizing options and having the option to get it with a 40” blade initially.

Great saber and great review!
I really like the round malice pommel on it.
How heavy is the saber compared to your other sabers and how many inches does the blade go in the hilt?

nice saber! thanks for the review!

first you got fire orange with red FOC.... then you got fire orange with silver FOC..... you noticed that even though both MLS units have the same base color of fire orange, the different FOC colors changes the look of the base color? ok, i get that... but in the video you said you have pyrestone orange? so do you have 2 different shades of fire orange, or do you have one fire orange and one pyrestone? did you order fire orange but recieve pyrestone instead? or are you saying that one of these fire orange combinations is closer to what a pyrestone orange would be, like if you ordered the colors with no FOC?

I currently have a fire orange with blazing red FOC... are you saying that this MLS unit is actually closer to pyrestone than fire because of the FOC? if i were to order a stunt saber and wanted a different orange should i get fire orange or pyrestone?

so you have two fire orange mls units, the only difference being the flash on clash... yet they both appear to be different shades of orange? if you got a stunt saber with pyrestone orange, are you saying that it would match your fire orange with silver FOC? sory for the interogation, im just confused by this fire orange vs pyrestone thing

Nice Raven. It really does look good with the Malice round pommel. Makes me want one more and more. Though I'd probably get just one SS claw. I think that would look cool.

^ I saw a user do that for the back claw here the retention screws are when I started on the forum.
It looked really good. I was debating doing that but wanted it symmetrical all around.

@haldir
I have a Fire Orange MLS and a Pyerstone MLS.
My first was Fire Orange with Red FOC.
I ordered a Fire Orange MLS with Silver FOC but ended up getting pyerstone orange because Fire orange cannot flash silver.

I have been a long time fan of this site and I finally bought my first ultrasaber.  Got the Raven lightsaber with the rgb colors and must say I am very impressed.  Love the colors and the sound.  The hilt is well made and feels great.  Highly reccomend to any fan of the darkside.  I foresee myself buying many more ultrasabers.  Amazing work.

Wicked Raven Sky Dragon.
Looks good in orange, love that sound font too.
I am very jealous. A dark side saber gets you a dark side point.
