I am about to order a replacement for my busted switch on one of my dominix's i just wanted to make sure it would work.

this is the switch i am going to order:


it says it is a "Brass 16mm Push-button Switch w LATCH 1NO/C 12V"

my dominix is a standard setup with a GB led.

my question is when i wire this switch in will i need any special resistors with it or anything?

You will need a resistor and a AV switch bezel.

If you have a hilt that has taken a guarded switch before, will you still need a bezel if it has the drop for the switch?

If this works out for you let us know the info. o_o This gives me ideas. Lol. Or just get a non illuminated av switch unless you want it lit.

You might want to cross check the length of that switch with the ID of your saber.  My wife has a dominix and they are not as wide as a lot of other sabers.  They do make most of these AV switches in a shorter version.

Thanks for the info, I am going to order it and give it a go. Ill make a thread about the process and if it works when I recive it.
