Violet Amethyst with a bluer hue?

Ok, I don't mean to double post this but per Ultra's request I will re post here before sending him a PM.

I am looking into getting a pair of Ravens with MLS capability. Blazing Red as the primary color and Violet Amethyst as my secondary. I also plan to get a coupler to make a saberstaff out of them similar to the Sith Inquisitor in the upcoming Old Republic.

I've been discussing it and it seems that the color in many vids of the Inquisitor saber is a VA with a bluer tint to it. I've read that a regular VA unit will produce a bluer color to the blade when powered by alkaline batteries due to the voltage difference from a NImh battery.

I'd also heard that I could contact Ultra and have my MLS unit custom made to produce a more blue hue. It could likely be produced as well by getting a regular VA, powering it with alkaline batteries and then adding some of those color discs sold at TCSS to add the proper hue. Not sure which way to go on this one. Don't want to have an MLS unit made if all I needed to do is put alkaline batteries in my sabers and maybe add a colored disc.

Any other thoughts on getting that color accurate?

I would get the MLS with a touch more blue with a Li-Ion setup, but before that hopefully someone will post pics of this, but I think the custom MLS will be prime for what you want (Not to Blue)

Hmm...I wonder if the LI-Ion setup would interfere with the removal of the pommel for both the removal for programming of the Obsidian boards and or the removal of both pommels and addition of the coupler for forming a saberstaff? (I say this as I assume the Li-Ion setup has a recharge port built into the pommel. I broke a similarly wired stunt saber by removing just such a pommel thus severing the port's wires. It was uninformed ignorance on my part.)

They have removable LI Ion batteries like a normal setup there is no in hilt recharge, unless you ask for that. Check them out in the BYOS section.
