There's no reward in being right all the time.

So im looking at buying a new saber, and I really enjoy the design of the malice,  except the blades/claws on the emitter. How are they attached, and would I be able to easily swap them out for the claws from the raven, or leave them off all together?

Most of the claws are attached in different ways I believe. For instance, I was under the impression that the Malice blades slide onto a locking slat, then bolt in to secure. The Raven claws have an indent in them, that secures them along with the bolt, so that they don't spin around on the hilt. My War Glaive hilt seems to have 2 female slots on each claw area, presumably to prevent lateral movement like with the Raven. Just my musings and observations, please correct me if I'm wrong.

There must be balance between the light and dark, but the light lets you see the path before you.

Cyondios is correct, the clawed sabers all have different attachment styles. The claws of the Malice are removable, and the saber looks good without them. However it is a MHS saber therefore you can get a different emitter for it, such as the War Glaive for example.
