I thought I would start an area for people to post what kind of saber they have and what type of batteries it takes. I know that different LED colors require different numbers of batteries and types. Just post your saber, blade color, and the batteries you use. Thanks.

I have a intiate v2, VA and i use rechargable NiMHs, really good batteries

Dark Prophecy LE, SunRider's Destiny, uses 4 AAA batteries.
Dominix V2 LE, Fire Orange, uses 2 AAA batteries.
Currently they just have alkaline. Eventually I'll get some really good rechargeable batteries.

Catalyst Blazing red, Energiser advanced cells. Dark Initiate LE Blazing red, same cells. Raven (in the mail) Blazing red + Purple with obsidian sound, Energiser rechargeable NiMH cells. Dark standard issue (also in the post) staff Guardian blue and Arctic blue, Energiser advanced. The two that I have are amazing, the 3 that are on the way I can not wait for. As for all the Blazing red blades, well im sure you can spot a Sith by now.  |

Omen, guardian blue, 4 AA batteries
Initiate, silver, 4 AAA
Standard battle staff, Sunrider's Destiny, 4AAA.
I have to say that I had my omen for a long time before I got more sabers, and the change from AA to AAA wasn't a good one for me. I noticed a decline in battery life. Anybody else see that happen?

I haven't really tried out too much with the batteries so:
Dominix (original, pvc, consular green): 4 alkaline (duracell?) AA batteries
Dominix v2 (blazing red): also alkaline but AAA (I think it runs on 2?)
Luke ROTJ converted: In hilt recharge (custom job from Ultra)
Although I should note that I have a dark standard issue staff in fire orange waiting at my doorstep right now... when I get home from work I will check the batteries it takes, I would guess 4 AAA batteries
