Staff Idea

While I have two projects underway already, I have an idea for another one.. I'm sure this has been done and it might not be all that unique but I want to make a saber staff... or rather a saber Pike. A long shaft, with a blade at the end.. or like a "double bladed saber" hilt length with one blade. I don't want to be cheap and just have two sabers together with a blade though, I want to make like a decent looking pike or polearm. maybe even with a shorter blade.. like initiate or something. Thought it would look cool, and wonder how this could be done without making it like.. I don't want to just use a hollow tube, that just looks like it's looking for a disaster and I wonder which hilt would look the best for it? Any thoughts would be appreciated I'm big on using staves, and in the future will have a double bladed one, just I like these a lot too. It's like a lightsaber naginata.

Yeah Ultrasabers used to make one too, back when they made PVC sabers.  Pretty cool idea though man, sorry I don't have any suggestions at this time but if I think of anything I'll let you know.

ultrasabers did make a pvc spear and a pvc grievous spear in the past

Yeah I remember that from TFU and I see.. interesting.. well I want... hmm maybe not such a long handle.. I dunno. but yeah that's basically it it would require some specialized training to use effectively though. I'm just not sure about having a bunch of empty space below the main electronics area ya know? it would throw it way off balance. unless I manage to... weigh the other end somehow... or.... hmm... fill the shaft with something... but I don't want to make it TOO heavy.
