I just purchased a grab bag (my first UltraSaber) and I have a question. I know the hilt is random, but I purchased the Covertech wheel and clip. If I were to, by crazy luck, get a hilt that already has a wheel, will they refund the $10? Additionally, is the hilt a surprise until you unpackage it, or is it made known to you once it is being shipped? I only ask because they said you could contact them before it ships as to where you want the wheel to be added.

The wheel will be installed before it ships regardless, but if you have a specific location you would like it they allow you to request it. More than likely they will have to install one but either way you won't get a refund. The grab bag remains unknown until you unpackaged it.

I recently got a dark prophecy grab bag, and it did not come with a cover tech (even though prophecy usually does) so my guess would be that grab bags don't come with them unless ordered.
