Obsidian + Aeon LE?

If this is in the wrong section, or has been asked and answered already, then apologies in advance!

But Since I don't have an Ultrasaber with sound, and I've recently ordered the Aeon LE, would an Obsidian Soundboard fit in the hilt of the Aeon and/or be compatible with wiring or anything else?

I'm really rather new with Ultrasabers, and especially new with wiring and sound-related topics. And thanks in advance!

That's an interesting question... you should wait for Ultra to answer, I don't know that too many people have tried to install their own Obsidian boards.  I would say it's possible, the Obisidian board isn't particularly huge or anything but I wouldn't count on it.  Besides, you want to consider that the latest hilts are designed to carry the board, and are therefore greatly preferable - the board will sound MUCH better in a hilt it's meant to be used in.

Thanks Nero. I see where you're coming from, so might have to buy a Bellicose, or a newer one should they be available when I gain more funding from the Bank of Mum and Dad, or work, considering they look amazingly nice anyway.

Not a bad idea.  I don't mean to discourage creativity, I just didn't want to give you the go ahead just to have you disappointed.  The body of the sound sabers are machined in order to give the speaker resonance, making the sound louder and better.  The Consular and Bellicose are both post-Obsidian releases, although I'm sure any of the sound sabers would be great with the Obsidian.

im sure if you put a pommel with sound vents on that the sound will come out good. ive never tried it, but i have installed my own into a dark war glaive and its very loud and fit into the hilt good. you should measure the saber to  see how everything could fit. since its not a sound saber im not sure it will be as loud but it might work.
