I hesitate to call this a customization but this would be where it falls under. I was reading where during fast hard spar, theres a chance that the blade could come out. Understandable with a friction hold, but definatly inconveniant for what I want. So I took the grab bag saber I got and after testing the light (The information was from a Jedi Temple of Earth video, and they claimed "prop sabers" were too dim for their use) And determining it to be suitable, I began on the blade

Now first, BE CAREFUL I made an error and drilled a taaaaaaaaaad too deep and managed to get inside where the foil is. No harm no foul after patting it back down, but that just means I was lucky. First I cranked it down to put a marker notch on the blade. Then after drilling the aforementioned hole, I grabbed my blade wrench (I intend to swap this with a fancy hand turnable one). Then I began to crank down the blade screw, which cranked in much further, locking the blade in place. I tested it by attempting to turn it, and pull it out but it never budged. I then unscrewed it to inspect the hole. No cracking, no disturbing, just a perfect little hole with a 9/16ths drill bit. Between that and the use of 2 lenses (red on bottom, orange on top) I managed to make my blade good and stuck, yet replaceable, and it's the perfect (if temporary until I buy my emerald) shade of orange.
