If you were one of the lucky few to get your saber and find it an absolute pain to get the batteries out, I came up with a quick and cheap solution! This actually started off as another idea when the double-sided tape holding the PCB board to the battery pack quit holding, I was thinking of putting a rubber band around it to hold it. After ordering a grab bag saber this week, I noted the use of some very thin Velcro strapping around the batteries and this got me thinking.
What I picked up is a double pack of Velcro cord straps and it is super thin, no fuzzy stuff. I picked this up at Home Depot, but I'm sure other places carry it, I just happened to be down that aisle and there it was, this cost me $6. I did not use an entire strip, ended up cutting off about 2 inches, but that got me to thinking about some kind of pull-tab and it hit me, I was holding one in my hand!

You can see here, the one strap holding the battery pack to the PCB board, along with another strap placed just in between the two ends:

And here, I have cut off couple of inches to ensure that the tab doesn't bunch up with the pommel on:

So, that's it, simple, but effective. Now I feel a bit more secure about hitting things with the blade and not fearing for the PCB board being bounced around, plus getting to the batteries is sooooo much easier now (next time I'll get the blasted recharge port

). If I had to do it again, I'd plan it better so that I can use the end I cut off the battery strap and use it for the pull tab, but that's for the future.
Hope this helps someone!
