- Did you check to see if it worked when you got it out of the box? - You said it sat on a motorcycle, was the motorcycle outside, did it rain and get the saber wet? - I'm assuming you fully charged the batteries? (you didn't leave in on the charger those 5 1/2 hours? - How far did you pull the battery pack out? if too much, I'm thinking you might have pulled it out too far and broke a connection. - One Saber I got didn't turn on after I recharged it. The wires some how got underneath the switch and would not allow the switch to activate the mechanism. What I did was slowly pull the battery holder out until I could push the button on and activate the saber. (keeping the saber on) I just eased the battery pack back in, slowly turning it very little (pushing more than turning) until I got the battery pack in just far enough to put and screw the pommel back on. Then I turned the saber off. tried it again, and it has worked ever since
If that doesn't work, I'm lost too.

ya it was working fine until today. the saber stayed at my house and hasn't left it since it's gotten here. the batteries were charged since they came from ultra a few days ago and i tried a couple different sets and nothing. i just pulled the pack out enough to get to the batteries and the speaker is still working on it. and if it's left off for like 30 secs then the led will flicker on then shut back off

Well, if you use any other batteries besides the ones that came with it (if you got the rechargeable option) they might not be powerful enough to charge them. Have you tried recharging the original batteries?

I was assuming in the first post that you got the Li-Lon battery option? Did you?
Like Dan says, I would either recharge the Li-Lons if you got that option. If you are using rechargable batteries, try recharging them again. If regular batteries, make sure they are brand new out of the package or that you know are real good. Recheck the batter placement in the battery holder, then push the power button down until starts (on mine I count 1001, 1002 and it's on).
Did you try this...This was the problem with my raven One Saber I got didn't turn on after I recharged it. The wires some how got underneath the switch and would not allow the switch to activate the mechanism. What I did was slowly pull the battery holder out until I could push the button on and activate the saber. When you say the led won't stay on do you mean the luminated button doesn't stay on (but everything else works).

How long is a little while the batteries will only last for a couple of hours. Especially if you turn it on and off a lot try recharging them.

Did you keep the Li-Ion batteries in the pack while the saber was not in use? If you did, they got drained. The board still draws power when the batteries are in and the saber is still off. Just recharge the batteries and take one battery out when not in use. The board will boot each time you put the battery in.

That means you need to charge the batteries. So just charge the batteries. Trying to use them in this condition will RUIN your li-ion cells.

this was actually a pretty useful read, I have my first saber (also a raven) coming in the mail this week so I can know what to look for if my LED acts up

Yeah anytime your LED starts flickering or anything like that, the VERY first thing you need to do is charge the batteries. Then if you're still having problems contact Deep.
