Hey so quick question. I want to get my girlfriend a stuntsaber for cosplaying as a little Christmas gift surprise (keepin it cheep considering everything else she wants). Problem is her favorite color is pink and I noticed I wasn't able to order a standard dark iniate v4 with Bane's Heart (pink) or Sentinel yellow (for example for myself). Is there no way I can get it in that color without upgrading to an Emerald light saber? I saw something on a past post in reference to someone sending in a disc to alter his ordered lightsaber but didn't know all the facts. Help would be much appreciated thanx!

Hey Angelus,

You should be able to order any Forum color on any hilt as long as its not a Tri-cree.  Here is the link that explains how to do it. http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=4475.465.  I ordered my Phantasm V4 Staff with both hilts having BH so i know it can be done.  IMO the discs don't work that well for colored LED's it seems to wash out the color.  Hope this helps.

Hey Angelus,

Correct.  It will not be am Emerald saber.  Go to that link i provided and scroll to the 1st post. You basically do the Hokey-Pokey, wave your magic wand, give US a few extra dollars for the Forum color BH and your girlfriend has a beautiful saber like this

Yeah. If you scour through the Forum color thread, I believe Hot Pink is also an option. I believe the list of colors were updated after the initial post.

Hi.  Here's the in a nutshell version.  Let's use your GF's saber as the example.   

1)  Order stunt saber.  Choose an upgraded color such as Sun Rider's Destiny (SRD) that costs an extra $5.00.

2)  After you have finished ordering the saber but prior to paying go to PARTS then Parts & Supplies.  Buy an additional 5 x $1.00 or $5.00 in Requisition Charges.

3)  Here's the most important part.  In the Order Comments type clearly what the Requisitions are for.  ie:  $5.00 Req. for a forum color in Banes Heart on the ? stunt saber.  So the forum color is ultimately costing you an extra $10.00.  I don't see why you can't just choose a regular color and then buy $10 of Requsitions.  Just so long as US is clear on what it is to be used towards.

Banes Heart is a strong magenta rose pink color.  However, if she really likes pink then I suggest getting Hot Pink.  Looks like the pink of bubblegum or as another male member has described as Barbie Doll pink.  The silver Initiate version with the gold LE accents looks great with a pink blade.

Lastly, when getting a blended color it is a wise decision to consider getting a Li-Ion and buckpuck battery set up even in a stunt saber.  Will keep the colors truer till the battery power drains out.  Especially important for the Sentinel Yellow LED as can turn to a more greenish shade as regular or rechargeable batteries wear down.

is one Li-Ion battery set up better than another is does it not matter as long as you get one? Because I do intend to get a sentinel yellow standard saber. Do you know if there are any images of hot pink so i can compare it?

Hi.  You need to order the Li-Ions with buck puck so that the color generally cuts out as the battery is drained as compared to slowly changing to various colors as the battery power weakens.  Also regarding your pink blade colors.  Check out this section where you have made this post in US Questions.  " Forum colors and how to order them " near the top.  Scroll down to tomfoyle May 30 2015 reply.  He shows two blades in the Banes Heart and the Hot Pink.

Hot Pink Initiate LE V3 on the right. Bane's Heart Dominix LE V4 on the left. The color difference is more noticeable in person.
