An excellent written review with so many nice pictures ... point awarded!  I will say that the Prophecy definitely has a huge wow factor when you first take it out of the box and hold it for the first time, it really is impressive.  Congrats!

Good day fellow saber enthusiasts and agents of the Force!

This would be a very detailed review so please bear with it. Enjoy reading!

This is my review of my UltraSabers Prophecy V3. These are its specifications:

Tri-Cree Guardian Blue

36” UltraEdge Heavygrade Blade

Rounded Tip

Blue Illuminated AV Switch

Premium Obsidian V4 Sound

Li-Ion BuckPuck Set-Up

I ordered the saber on February 6 and received it on February 19.

Customer Service and Shipping: I was thinking of buying my first duelling saber and I needed it by February 20,2016. I was looking online through forums and message boards and the consensus was that UltraSabers is the fastest way that I could get a saber that quickly. I e-mailed Emory on January 29 to check whether the Prophecy V3 was still available since a lot of the sabers were already out of stock because of the rise of Star Wars: TFA. On the same day, I got a reply from Corey, a customer service rep, and told me that it was still available for fabrication. From that date until February 6, Corey  answered all my questions and inquiries concerning the saber and it helped me a lot. Until today, Corey is still answering my questions even after my saber has been delivered already. So, to everyone who says that UltraSabers has the best customer service, YOU’RE ALL ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! I ordered my saber on February 6, started fabrication on February 10, was shipped on February 14 and I had it on hands on February 19. I used the FedEx International Economy and considering that I’m from the Philippines, that was very very quick. So when it comes to this issue, I give UltraSabers 11/10. (no that's not a typo)

The Saber: When I opened the box, my initial reaction was that this saber was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I ordered this hilt design specifically because it was based on Anakin Skywalker’s Lightsaber on Episode II. The fabrication and manufacturing of the hilt was more that what it’s worth on paper. The hilt was just masterfully made overall. The quality was just amazing and surprising. When I lifted the saber up, I just noticed two light scratch lines on the hilt. It didn’t bother me that much because I thought that it gave the saber a uniqueness and it made it one of a kind. I lifted it and held it up for the first time and it was very light. I’ve read that having an UltraEdge Heavygrade Blade would make the saber a little bit heavier to wield and spin with but this was not the case for my saber. I removed the blade from the hilt and put on the blade plug and the hilt literally felt like nothing. If I could make a very good comparison, the weight of the hilt without the blade is like holding an empty large can of soda, and I’m not exaggerating. Holding the saber was just perfect. I’ve held a lot of sabers from UltraSabers and I’ve noticed that the Prophecy V3 is one of the most realistically designed hilts, meaning that if a saber would be made to be used as a weapon in real life, then this is the way to do it. The size is just perfect for both one and two-handed wielding. The hilt is 11" long and 1.45" at it's widest diameter. It’s also easily the most comfortable hilt. The blade was perfect at 36”. I’m 5’8” and I think that the length of the whole saber is great. I went for the 36” blade because I felt that it’s the way that standard sabers are in the Star Wars universe and I consider myself a purist. Beautiful, Light, Comfortable and Deadly, that is how I would describe my saber. I would give the saber, aesthetically, a 10/10

The Electronics: I reattached the blade and turned the saber on. The Tri-Cree Guardian Blue was just magnificent. In a well-lighted room, it shined brightly. And when you turn the lights off, it’s just simply amazing. The light is just powerful and bright. Although Tri-Cree colors are not capable of Flash-on-Clash, this should not stop anyone from getting a saber with this set-up. The additional $10 for this option was well worth it. I would recommend anyone who doesn’t mind not having Flash-on-Clash to get this set-up. It’s just simply the way a lightsaber should be illuminated. The light was just so bright and beautiful. I get it that other saber companies are boasting about their “brighter” 12-watt LEDs, but they have a big downside which is that the certain level of brightness becomes irritating and distracting to the eyes while spinning and duelling. I have some friends who own these “other" sabers and in duelling with them, they have the same concern. In wielding and duelling with my Prophecy V3, the brightness difference between their sabers and mine’s are minimal at best and the brightness of UltraSabers LED units are at the perfect level since it does not distract or irritate the user’s vision even if held very close to the face. The illuminated AV switch was a personal aesthetic choice and it adds a unique character to the saber. Now, let’s talk about the freakin’ amazing sound board. Yes, the Obsidian V4 Soundboard is the best. Same as the Tri-Cree option, the additional $10 for the upgrade is well worth it. The sounds are just crisp and clear and the motion detection, while being adjustable, are just superb. Swinging it while listening to the sounds take me back to the scenes in the movies. The standard vented pommel is the best way to go here when getting this saber. I’ve since edited the sound fonts and editing it using the Obsidian Launcher was a breeze. The electronics, same as the rest of the saber, is given a 10/10

Battery Life and Usage: On a full charge, the saber lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes on the silent sound font and 50 minutes on the default Obsidian sound font. After 4-5 minutes of the saber turned on, you would feel a very slight, and I do mean really slight, warmth between the emitter and the AV switch because of the LED unit. Though not at all a concern, the warmth will very slightly increase until the 40 minute mark that the saber is turned on and will stay at that temperature until the saber dies. For anyone who thinks that there saber will suddenly overheat and be destroyed, it won’t happen at all unless there are problems in the wiring and fabrication. In that case, if you’re still covered by the warranty, then it shouldn’t be a problem since UltraSabers have excellent customer service as stated above. The battery pack inside is well-crafted and you need not be concerned about the electronics or the wiring being faulty. Spinning and wielding the saber is an absolute joy. Comfortable and sleek, the blade holds up to the strongest clashes with other sabers. You need not be afraid to use it for heavy duelling because it is built specifically to that purpose. It really is something that is built to last and withstand anything that it was meant to be used for. I would not trade my saber for anything else. For this part, it is no secret that I give a 10/10

Overall construction and experience: The Prophecy V3 that was fabricated and given to me was just gorgeous. From the hilt to the electronics, to the construction and fabrication, it’s simply the best. I would recommend this saber for anyone who wants to buy an elite looking saber but does not want to spend a lot. At a baseline of $99, this is the perfect saber. Comfortable, elegant and simply beautiful, I have nothing more to say. 100/10! (yup, not a typo either)

Thank you for taking the time to reading my very detailed and long review! I hope this helps you in buying the saber or to any questions you had concerning usage.

I would also like to thank Emory and Corey for being very very helpful and responsive. My decision to purchase my first saber with UltraSabers was mainly because of there high quality of service. I’m a loyal UltraSabers fan and a customer for life!

Thank you again and May the Force be with us all!
