Hey guys,

I got my hands on my new Archon v2.1 today (6 hours ago to be precise). I've been presented with issues already.

It's an Emerald driven (RGBW), Obsidian soundboard v4 saber, and I have only had the Emerald driver chip hooked up to the laptop so far on two separate occasions. While configuring a new colour for the blade, I have lost the Green colour, the Red flickers and cuts off after a second, and Blue is strobing, eventually getting slower til it dies out.

I am pretty upset that this is happening within hours of opening it up. Any advice to rectify this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

After plugging the Emerald drive into the laptop again, I seem to have lost all lighting. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with your saber. I haven't encountered these issues with my saber (basically the same setup except for the v4 sound board which is a v3 for me), though, but I can try to help you.

Have you charged your batteries before you made these changes? If not, I highly recommend charging the batteries before you try that again - otherwise you may have problems during the data transfer which can result in malfunctions of the components. Or try to reset the board by removing the batteries for about 15-20 seconds and then using the "Load Defaults" button in the Emerald tab.

You can also check (although I don't think that this will be the cause) the wires and solder points. Maybe one or more wires came loose, but as I said, I don't really think that this is the cause.

Can you post your current settings (if possible together with a screenshot)? I'd like to check them if there's a mistake somewhere. Not meaning you did something wrong Wink
