My take on the ROTJ V2.  Sanding, lots.  Flat black enamel paint.  Aluminum Black, including brass section.  Replica Graflex clamp and card.

This took a LONG time to complete.  Didn't help that it took almost 3 months to get the replica Graflex clamp.  Clamp is heavily modified to get it to fit over the larger Archon body.  I may add some more weathering to the clamp.  It's just a little too clean looking and a saber should look used and abused IMO  Smiley

Enjoy.

Wow that looks like a lot of work, but it sure looks awesome and you certainly nailed the used look well done.  I also like the orientation of the control box to the switch . . . point awarded Cool

nice work!  that clamp is a pain to get on though.

I'm surprised we don't see more of these

Very nice job on everything.  I agree, the clamp could use a bit more weathering.  It's cool that you were able to get one with the Graflex writing on it, not all of them have that.

Yes the clamp comes from a vendor that makes very high end components and screen accurate hilts (not sure if I can post the name?)  It's identical to a vintage.  Unfortunatly I had to cut off the lever screw and put in a longer one to attach it.  The lever is glued into the bracket hole  Sad  I will add some minor weathering to the clamp!

We're suppose to keep names of other companies off the forums. So we refer to other companies <as just that, or as the "other guys" Smiley
