Do orders during a raffle ship during the raffle, or after the raffle ends?

Subject is pretty much my question - do all orders get held in case you win something, or are orders shipped as soon as they're done and any raffle wins are shipped separately?

Both.  Some people in the raffles that have gone on since I joined have had them ship during the raffle while others have had to wait.  I think it's a question of how busy Ultra Sabers is and when you place your order.  For example, if you order today with a raffle entry, don't expect a shipment before Friday.  With the raffle ending on Thursday, it makes no sense to ship something today when that person may win and then Ultra Sabers has to eat that shipping cost to send a second package.  However, had you ordered more towards the beginning of the raffle, I think your order may have shipped.  One thing Ultra Sabers prides themselves on is their quick turnaround.  So, making people wait a few weeks just because they're in a raffle doesn't exactly say "quick," does it?  Plus, they could have weeks' worth of stuff, hundreds of orders just piled up when it makes more sense to just ship out the earlier orders.

Yep, I have had both happen to orders I made, depending on how close to the end of the raffle I made the order.

Aha.  I ordered on Friday.  I'm used to US moving at supralight speeds, so at first I was puzzled that I didn't see any response -- then I remembered, oh wait, Veterans' Day.  NEVERMIND

Alright, so yeah, makes sense that they won't be ready to ship until probably Tuesday, so oh noes, I might have to wait a day or two!  The tragedy!

Yeah, due to your order date, you're probably waiting until the tally up the winners an put prizes in the appropriate boxes.    Also, consider the amount of business US is doing right now.  Both new releases an raffles bring in influxes of orders and they have both right now.

This is perfect timing - I just posted in another topic about this. I received my shipping notification TODAY for the Fulcrum I ordered on Friday as a raffle entry. They still have my other two raffle entries: the Lost Gray that I also ordered on Friday, and my Bellicose that I ordered on Nov. 4th and appear to be holding those until Friday, which I'm completely FINE with   This is shaping up to be a great week! I look forward to posting a review on the Fulcrum when I get it in a couple of days.  I could be the first one - wouldn't that be exciting

I like the Fulcrum and may well pick one up in the future, but it had to be the Lost Grey for me this time. We'll see what the future holds on that one!

You got it, JC.  It will be extensive, and good tip on comparisons with other hilts, too.  Definitely noted and will do.  I'm planning and making preparations now...

Don't mean to rehash this, but a similar thing happened with me.

I placed an order for an Aeon LE v4 and Prophecy v3 on the 3rd that they're holding them until the drawing. Then I placed an order for a Liberator v3 on 11/11, which they shipped ON THE SAME DAY! Totally shocked by that, as I thought they would have held that too, but now I have something to tide me over until I get the Aeon and Prophecy!

I'm thinking of doing one more order tomorrow (because why not!?), but I'll ask them to ship it with my 11/3 order, even though I'm sure they would anyway. But I just want to get them all at the same time regardless.

Very exciting! I'm tripling my collection in 2 weeks... I have a problem...
And that problem is not enough lightsabers in my life!

I think they're keeping us on our toes, and I love it! Those are all "sabertastic"!  (new word? too much?)

Congratulations to you on those new sabers! There isn't one of those I'd prefer over the other. I have the Liberator V3 and Dark Prophecy V3 myself.  They're beautiful creations, so balanced and handle so well. It is a real thing this "problem" you speak of, but it is truly only a "problem" to those outside the world of UltraSabers and this forum. Here it is, of course, natural and completely okay to own as many lightsabers as you want.  I share this "affliction" aka "passion" for lightsabers with you.  I'm thinking the same thing - why not order one more by tomorrow?  It's a dangerous thing for me, however, because my wife supports me in this "hobby" of mine 100%, and I support her "hobby", buying LulaRoe clothing, 100%.  We have a mutual agreement for our love of these things.  I'm dang lucky, no one would argue that.
