Hi guys,
I'm a big fan of Quinlan Vos and would like to buy a saber that looks like his.
But I can't seem to find any on US.
I found one on Saberforge (Exile) but I want to have the obsidian v4 soundboard.
I don't want to do the electronics myself.
Is there maybe a chance that US is thinkking of making one like his?
I won't be able to buy a saber within the year so time is not really anything to worry about.

Hey Badil,
Let me remind you that its not proper forum etiquette no mention a competing saber company on the forum. We refer to them as "The Other Guys" I'm pretty sure it was an honest mistake and no harm done, but please refrain from doing so in the future. Thanks.
If you could post a pic of Quinlan Vos' saber we would be able to help you out in figuring out how to make some adjustments to a US saber that may give you what you want.
If nothing in the US inventory comes close to it, you can always post what you would like to see them make in the future. Thats what the Wish List Thread is for. This is how the Fulcrum and Lost Gray finally came available. The more interest that US sees the more likely a saber design may come out. Hope this helps!

If memory serves - the top half is EXTREMELY similar to The Guardian (Phantom Menace Obi).
The grip is all black though and the pommel is low profile - not the spiked ball look.
So - I would say a Guardian in Consular Green with a pommel like the Manticore Low would get you pretty darn close.

I would say that the Overlord pommel would probably be close than the Manticore but either would work. Although the Guardian will work, I can see it being a cross between the Guardian and Consular. You would definitely be able to make something close, but the shroud has a very unique design. I looked it up and like it very much. |

With a little black paint, the Aeon v2 would make a decent substitute - but alas, no Obsidian soundboard.
It's a 'sabre I'd love to have US develop. Here's hoping!

At first I was actually thinking about making a Custom shroud for the consular since I also like Qui Gon and I could then swap from His to Quinlans with just a shroud. But then i saw the guardian and really like the emiter part but i can't seem to find the emitter on its own. but I'll post in the wish list and when the time comes that I'll have enough money to buy one. i'll have to choose from either the one they mad eon my request or to make something that looks really simmilar. It's simply because the Guardian's emitter is not an MHS part - it's unremovable. Other hilts that also have unremovable emitters are for example: Aeons/Dominixes, Initiates/Apprentices, Sentinels, Monarchs.
