Thanx everyone. I make it a point to have some kind of costume item on for my videos. Either a helmet, a cloak or my full jedi outfit.
Why wear all regular clothes when I've got a closet full of props and costumes? AmIrite?
I think it was a hard sell to get my son to not take the V3. It's a much nicer hilt in person than in pictures IMO.
But my youngest son has always liked red sabers, so I convinced him to keep the V2s. I think he'd eventually regret the Arctic blue.
But I think the V3 is an upgrade for my wife's Dark initiate V4. I had gotten her Silver with color discs but she didn't like and of the colors. They were either too washed out or too dim.
Arctic blue with a guardian blue day blade, otoh, is a nice bright and vibrant color that she likes.
So everyone wins
Her silver saber is being used by my oldest until his Fallen arrives. He likes the orange and yellow that the discs make and his Fallen is Tri-silver.
Once his Fallen arrives, the V4 will be the first of our sabers to sold off.

Yeah I was surprised too. I know he liked the hilt, but the double is his color, Red, and can be split into 2 sabers if he doesn't like the staff. Unless we had gotten a premium hilt in Tri-Red, I don't think any stunt is better than 2 stunts + coupler. I'm also glad he chose the double because that was their first sabers so there's sentimental value there. - |
